I swear that Square Enix has sold their souls to someone other than me. When it comes to making games look amazing, they are by far one of the leaders in video game visuals. Square Enix is pumping titles out like BP's oil leak. Square Enix just announced that they will have four new digital titles. Two for WiiWare and two for XBox Live and PlayStation 3. WiiWare is getting The Tales of Bearsworth Manor™: Puzzling Pages™ and The Tales of Bearsworth Manor™: Chaotic Conflicts™. No, unfortunately, this does not mean that Daniel Day Lewis will be abandoning his child (abandoning his boy), and being a gracious oilman on our next generation consoles. Nay, this deals with the blood that will be spilled via two downloadable titles coming this Wednesday on XBox Live and PSN. Death by Cube (800 ($10)) is a little gem by Square Enix with a story that suggests a sweet abundance of man's most precious videogame resource, violence, "Leo is a robot, one who awakes to find that he has lost his memory. All he knows is that he must reboot the heroine robot, so he sets forth on a mission hoping to regain his memory. As much as one can be in awe of the Final Fantasy XIII and XIV trailers on the giant screen at Square Enix’s booth at E3, I kept walking around to find something else.  The classic jRPG fan in me jumped for joy at the sight of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years.  Already out on Wii Ware, picking up and playing Final Fantasy IV: The After Years was like running into a warm hug of an old friend.This sequel, 18 years in the making, tells the story of you, the son of the paladin Cecil and the white mage Rosa, years after the end of Final Fantasy IV.  The great evil of the second moon destroyed by Cecil and Rosa’s party in the original has returned and it is now up to you to stop this evil and return peace to the once quiet planet.
