by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of October 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games I am glad this week in video games is over. Not for any particular reason outside of getting to play all those video games that we've been writing about and covering her eon the site. Even though the review for Styx: Master Of Shadows went live this week I see myself diving back in just for fun and trophy clean up. Need to get as many of those as I can before the PlayStation Experience hits and all. I want to be able to have a higher level to brag about while mixing it up with everyone else who will be attending. Read More…

The next part of the Welcome to Kyrat series for Far Cry 4 has been released to show off the Midlands & Himalayas of the game We've already seen the lowlands of Far Cry 4's Kyrat location so it is about time to start moving up to new heights in the environments. Well Ubisoft and Red Storm want us to now as they have given us a new look at more of Far Cry 4's world. This time we even get to look at that arena that was teased at the end of the last video and it looks intense. That and something that looks like it was pulled right out of Game Of Thrones even though that series didn't pioneer the idea of sky prisons. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of October 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
The Opening Cinematic For The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been released and it is as eye popping as you can imagine. Pun intended Here we go. The opening cinematic for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has hit the web and it is here to spoil the first three minutes of the game for you. That's right you can see how The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is going to open when you fire it up on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC on February 24th. I think that we should take this as CD Projekt RED and Warner Bros. are secure in the fact that the rest of the game will be mind blowing enough to keep us enthralled after spoiling so much of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt so far. There Are So Many Game Modes In Assassin's Creed Unity
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 23rd of October 2014 - 07:01 PM ]
Ubisoft gives us a breakdown of the different gameplay modes for Assassin's Creed Unity outside of the standard story missions It is no big surprise that Assassin's Creed Unity is going to have a whole lot going on in the open world of the game. Ubisoft generally makes sure that there is so much going on in any Assassin's Creed title that you will be spending hours doing everything else besides playing the main narrative. Assassin's Creed Unity has already added in the multiplayer mission aspect and now we have a look at the other ordeals, trials, challenges, and fun we will be having on our PS4s, Xbox Ones, or PCs on November 11th. I know that throwing in a whole bunch of collectibles and mini-missions is a way to make Assassin's Creed Unity or any game feel like it is a lot longer than it actually is. Read More…

Review: Styx: Master Of Shadows
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of October 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Styx: Master Of Shadows. Is this the Thief game that I've been begging for or just another flop? I've covered quite a bit on Styx: Master Of Shadows over the last few months and it is time to see if the game is worth picking up on your PS4, Xbox One, or PC. That's right. It is time that for me to actually play and review Styx: Master Of Shadows and let you know if it lived up to the hype Focus Home Interactive and Cyanide were hoping to build up for it. Just like I am building up the anticipation for the below video review for Styx: Master Of Shadows. I could just keep writing here to keep said anticipation going but instead I'll give you the ten minute review of Styx: Master Of Shadows. Read More…

Meet The Evil Within's Maniac: The Sadist
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of October 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new video from Tango Gameworks has been release to show off the thought behind The Evil Within's chainsaw wielding maniac: The Sadist By now most of you have run into The Sadist in The Evil Within. That would be the chainsaw wielding maniac that even the Haunted are afraid of. Or, you know, the first chainsaw wielding maniac that you are forced to encounter at the beginning of The Evil Within. If you haven't run into him at all then you just haven't played The Evil Within yet or Bethesda and Tango Gameworks left some kind of huge bug in the game that allowed you to completely bypass this enemy. We'll assume the prior for now. Read More…

The November update for Xbox One will be bringing home screen and background customization as well as many other features It is no big surprise that the Xbox One is getting another update in November. From the look of things it looks like the Xbox One updates are happening monthly as opposed to the PS4 getting them whenever. In the upcoming software update though it looks like Microsoft is giving us something that Sony has yet to give a us a defined date on yet. It looks like the Xbox One is going to be getting background and theme-like support as well. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of October 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
New and fun details bout LittleBigPlanet 3's new character named Toggle have been handed out and we have them below To be honest I think we all got to meet this new character for LittleBigPlanet 3 back at E3. At least to some extent but for some that may not be enough. Seeing as Sumo Digital and Sony PlayStation have taken their time to get intricate with Toggle for the PS3 and PS4 release of LittleBigPlanet 3 it makes sense that they would want us to know he is more than just a ne character that can get big and small on command. Toggle is more than just a cog in the puzzle machine and has a personality full of all kinds of things. These personality traits for Toggle have been recently detailed on the UK PlayStation Blog and brought over here for your reading pleasure. Read More…
