by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of May 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
The new campaign mode for Rock Band 4 will have you playing Gigs that feel realistic and not one song wonders So far we have heard a lot on how Rock Band 4 will be changing the hardware we will use to pretend to be rock stars with when it launches later this year. Not much has been given to us on how Harmonix is changing the gameplay or what they are planning on adding to the overall experience. This of course means here we go with our first little bit on how they are changing gameplay for Rock Band 4. This time in the way of what is called Gigs for the game. Read More…

Activision and FreeStyleGames has released the first set of tracks coming to Guitar Hero Live and it's not all to surprising So we've seen the idea behind Guitar Hero Live and what Activision and FreeStyleGames has in the pipeline for us but we all really want to know which rock stars we are going to be pretending to be in the virtual world. Yes the announcement event did give us a couple but we know that there is supposed to be a huge catalog of licenses artists and songs for us to play through. Good news here though as it looks like we can expect updated for Guitar Hero Live track list on a weekly basis and the first 24 artists/songs have been released for us to look at and question. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 12th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Ubisoft has now officially announced Assassin's Creed Syndicate, a new title that take place in Victorian age London There have been a whole lot of leaks and hints before now but it is not official, this year's Assassin's Creed title is called Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Looks like most of us were not that too far off from what Ubisoft was working on since the last letdowns for the franchise. Thankfully though, and according to the tease before the world premiere of Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Ubisoft has taken all of the past criticism for the Unity and Rogue to try and make this next title the best in the franchise to date. There words not mine of course. Read More…

More Bloody Combat For The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt To Impress With
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of May 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
The first bit of gameplay for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on the Xbox One has been released to let us all compare between platforms now We have seen a whole lot of footage for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. CD Projekt RED has shown off quite a bit up to now and so far things have been overly impressive and it is no question as to why the game has over one million pre-orders already slated for May 19th. We've seen The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt played on PC as well as PS4 but until now we have yet to see it running on the Xbox One. Not that the game wasn't scheduled for it from day one but there just hasn't been a good public showing on that platform…wait for it…until now. Read More…

LEGO Dimensions Will Have Doctor Who & Portal Among The Worlds
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 11th of May 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A few instruction booklets have made it online to confirm a few other dimensions we will be going to in LEGO Dimensions in the near future Since LEGO Dimensions was announced early last April it has been a huge question as to all of the "dimensions" that could be included in the game. Ideally it would include ever property that LEGO has licensed over the years but we have had only a very truncated list thus far with TT Games and Warner Bros. promising many more on the way. Well it would seem a few of those LEGO Dimensions announcements may have made it online a bit earlier than they wanted as we know have seen Doctor Who and Portal 2 among the list of dimensions and toys we will get to play with when the game launches on September 29th. It has been announced that ARK: Survival Evolved is coming and we will be able to play it on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux If you had hopes of one day being able to be a part of an open world, Jurassic Park-like, multiplayer, FPS, survival game then you need not look further as now we have ARK: Survival Evolved on the way to fill that empty spot on your gaming shelf. This would be the new title coming from the independent developer Studio Wildcard and it does just about what I said before with a bit more on top of it all. What kind of game would ARK: Survival Evolved be if it didn't go beyond the general description right? Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of May 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Someone crank up the Queen as another week in video game news as bit the dust. Wow that was kind of a lame way to start out with but at least we have a whole lot of awesome video game new and updates for you to make up for it. Granted it is very Batman: Arkham Knight and The Wither 3 heavy when it is all boiled down but at least we had a nice look at the new controllers for Rock Band 4. Not to mention all of the excitement of Nintendo setting up some great themed areas at Universal Parks across the globe. Read More…

Yoshimitsu Gets A New Character Design For Tekken 7
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of May 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Gameplay for Yoshimitsu in Tekken 7 has been released and it shows off a rather drastic character design change for the character in Tekken 7 There is still no word on if Tekken 7 will be hitting consoles or the states any time soon but at least we have a look at yet another character that will be gracing the game. In this case it is Yoshimitsu who has been one of my favorites from past versions of the game. He's been absent among the roster in all of the recent outings for characters but now we get a good look at Yoshimitsu in action for Tekken 7. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of May 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
'Leaked' videos and stills may be showing that we may have a new MediEvil title coming soon; possibly for the PS4 Update It turns out this is not a new MediEvil title in the works but a fan build based on the original title in the hopes to show Sony why there needs to be a new MediEvil title made. Kudos on the build as it does look production quality at the end of the day. MediEvil — Unreal Engine 4 Yet another franchise can't keep things hidden for a great reveal as we now may be getting another MediEvil title for the PS4. Read More…

Rocksteady Takes Us Inside Batman: Arkham Knight's Latest Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Rocksteady takes inside the Batman: Arkham Knight All Who Follow You trailer to explain all of the features teased in the original trailer If you felt like the latest trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight left more questions than cool answers and spoilers for the game you are not alone. Rocksteady showed off the Dual Play mode a little bit in the game but there was little explanation as to how it will truly work in the game and the free-flow combat that will ensue. That is also not to point out that there was speculation on the Joker being back alive in Batman: Arkham Knight because of the green robots. All of which is now put to rest with Rocksteady's first Batman: Arkham Insider video. Read More…

Universal Parks Will Soon House A Nintendo Land
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of May 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Nintendo and Universal Parks are teaming up to bring us all the Nintendo experiences we want in the real world It looks like all of us who ever wanted to wander into any of Nintendo's properties are going to be able to do just that sometime in the near future. It was announced that Nintendo is now partnering up with Universal Parks to bring some of their huge IPs to said parks around the world to let us all experience what a day in the life of Mario Mario would be like. Okay, well maybe not that far but there are going to be attractions and experiences at Universal Parks that will be solely focused on some of Nintendo's major IPs. At this time it has not been specified with games, stories, or characters Nintendo and Universal will be bringing but we can know that they just are coming. Read More…

Rage & Steel Will Help You Prevail In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of May 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Yet another trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been released to show off the beauty and brutality of the game's combat We've seen a bunch on the monsters and gameplay for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt this week already so why not blow it out with another great look at the combat for the game. Of course that is what CD Projekt RED has done or we wouldn't have had anything to bring up again for The Witcher 3. Not only that but now we have an epic look at how the combat will ebb and flow in the final game and not just when out killing monsters. In fact in this latest video we seem to be killing more and more humans or humanoids in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt than previously explained. Read More…

Hear How Batman: Arkham Knight Will Drive More Fear With Scarecrow
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new behind the scenes video for Batman: Arkham Knight has been released to show off a few of the voice actors that will be bringing the characters to life in the game It is no big shocker that some of our favorite voices will be gracing Batman: Arkham Knight. Rocksteady has created a franchise with some great new interpretations of the characters so it would make sense that they stay the same across the board or at least have stellar voice actors to help bring them to life. A task that so far has been heard pretty well in the Batman: Arkham Knight videos and trailers. Just to emphasize it more though we have another great behind the scenes video showing off how the voice actors truly are bringing those characters to life again on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of May 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
With the updates for Rock Band 4 Harmonix has also upgraded the hardware and now we have a look at what has been changed We have yet to see official gameplay for Rock Band 4 but we have had a look at the new controllers for the game and how Harmonix is changing things up to give us that rock star feeling all over again. Well, to clarify they have given IGN exclusive "first rites" to the Rock Band 4 and the virtual rock star feeling as it is Guitar Hero Live that is aiming for the real feel. Now that is out of the way we can dig right in to what we can expect to be plugging into our PS4 or Xbox One later this year to experience what Harmonix and Mad Catz will be bringing with Rock Band 4. More Gameplay For The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt To Shake Sticks At
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of May 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The first bit of gameplay for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on the PS4 has been shown off as well as a look at more of the combat in the game There would be no doubt, if there was, that we are getting close to the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. CD Projekt RED is flooding us with more and more of the gameplay and creature looks than we can shake sticks at. Odd phrase I know but go with it. None the less we have the first bit of PS4 gameplay to look at now and it still feels like we have seen so very little of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt so far. Read More…
