Star Wars
We have a new look at Star Wars Battlefront II's hero of sorts and just how she fits into the game and the Star Wars franchise in general
If you are still not too clear on Star Wars Battlefront II's protagonist, Iden Versio, then get ready for yet another information dump on her and other aspects of the game. Even though we have just over a week, November 17th, until the game hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC officially, DICE wanted to give us a bit more on our hero's background and a few other things we may not have expected out of the game. Given that this is most likely as close to a single-player campaign and story that EA is going to give us for a bit, we might as well take it. Especially since this Star Wars story gives us more insight on the other side of the great conflict that has been raging on in our world for 40 years now.
While mostly filled with the same gameplay we have seen for Star Wars Battlefront II so far, there is a bit more of the context mixed in here to give us more on whom Iden is. Like the fact that she is the daughter of an Admiral on the Empire's side of it all and had a closer relationship with the powers that be besides just following orders. Her story is also one about revenge for certain, but along the way we are going to see more of the "human" side of the conflict and not just the epic space battles we are used to. At least for those who choose the campaign instead of just the multiplayer mode. Just remember that there is a campaign that does not rely on letting you play as the named characters in the universe for now.
Have a look at the latest trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II just below and get ready for battle here on November 17th. Or maybe try it all my way and give the solo-mode your time and skip over the multiplayer for a bit. Maybe you will grow as a person as well as a fan of the franchise. Most likely not, but one can hope for the best here.
