The Executioner Is Here To Kill Your Demons In The Evil Within
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of May 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
The first bit of gameplay for The Executioner DLC for The Evil Within has been released and we are getting a first person mode All things must come to an end and in this case it is the expanding world of The Evil Within. At least as this part of the franchise goes. The last bit of DLC, The Executioner, is coming on May 26th from Bethesda and Tango Gameworks and will let you play as none other than The Keeper. This would be the creature better known as Boxman by the internet and fans of The Evil Within. I guess that is one way to go out with a bang here but let's hope it is enough to drive the publishers to want The Evil Within 2 or some other spin off to make a true franchise. Read More…

Great Scott! We Have Some LEGO Dimensions Gameplay To Look At
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Another promo video for LEGO Dimensions has been released from TT Games and this time we get a look at some gameplay for LEGO Dimensions So not only do we have a new promotional video for LEGO Dimensions starring none other than Doc Brown himself but we also have a nice new bit of gameplay showing off the Back To The Future dimension for the game. Pretty much just like we had back when TT Games and Warner Bros. first showed off the game only with the actor and from the sounds of things voice actor for the game. Read More…

Have A Look At The DOOM 4 That Already Mets Its Doom
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of May 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Footage of an unreleased version of DOOM 4 has surfaced online so we can all see the direction DOOM is not going to be taking Yesterday we had a taste of what is coming for DOOM for us all but what about that DOOM 4 that we are not going to be getting? Yes, there apparently is a version of the game that Bethesda and id Software didn't want because it didn't have the "spirit" of the DOOM franchise. In this version we won't be seeing there is a military force on Earth that appears to be pushing back the forces of Hell. Kind of a deviation as even the poorly received film on the franchise stayed a bit closer to the original story than this sounded to be. Read More…

Watch Hades Rule Again In God Of War III Remastered
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of May 2015 - 07:01 PM ]
A new video for the God Of War III Remastered version coming to the PS4 has been released showing off the epic Hades boss battle The title here should really say it all but just in case, we have some new footage for God Of War III Remastered and this time it is the entire boss fight with my main man Hades. All of course in 1080p running at 60 frames per second so we can all get a good feeling for what we can expect to see from the remastered version Sony Santa Monica has been working on to bring us. Not a bad choice of fight or scene to bring us to show off God Of War III Remastered's new visuals if I do say so myself but of course I am a bit bias here. Read More…

Regardless of when, we all know a new Fallout game is coming. Read More…

We'll Sacrifice More Than Time For The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of May 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
The launch trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been released in preparation for the game's release date that is less than twenty four hours from now In less than twenty four hours from this posting literally over a million gamers will be enjoying The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. At least enjoying it as CD Projekt RED is hoping. Some may love it and some may hate it but none the less that wait is over for the game and we can see how it stood up through the massive development time it has taken. I know I am in the 'stoked' category for The Witcher 3 but many may still be on the fence. Read More…

The Sons Of Winter Are Coming With New Game Of Thrones Screens
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of May 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
New screenshots for Game Of Thrones fourth episode have surfaced thus hearkening a release date coming soon for the episodic fun It's been about two months now so it is high time we had an update for the next episode of Game Of Thrones from Telltale. Like it has almost been literally two months since The Sword In The Darkness released and the TV show is half done with the season by the time of this being written. The synergy just isn't melding if that is what HBO and Telltale were going for with the episodic adventure of Game Of Thrones here. Thankfully though we may not have to wait much longer for the next episode to hit as we have a whole bunch of new screenshots for the next episode of Game Of Thrones titled Sons Of Winter. Get Ready For Our DOOM At E3 With A Nice Little Tease
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
The first bit of gameplay for DOOM has been released to tease a world gameplay reveal at Bethesda's E3 event in June We've all been waiting patiently for something more on the upcoming DOOM title from id Software and Bethesda. Very patiently given that there were pre-order bonuses that gave us access to the DOOM beta when it goes live. We have yet to see a thing for the game but at least we all were sure it was still on its way. Today though it looks like the wait…now has a defined end date at Bethesda's E3 event when we should be seeing DOOM in action most likely on the PC version but possibly on the PS4 or Xbox One version. This Week In Video Games 5/11/15 — 5/15/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of May 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Another week in this crazy world of video games has come and passed again and it has been another roller coaster ride of things. There were a lot of dinosaur games and LEGO games brought up this week. I'm talking ARK: Survival Evolved, LEGO Jurassic World, and LEGO Dimensions respectfully here. Oh and that new Assassin's Creed game for the year: Syndicate. That's also if we want to ignore all the new stuff for The Witcher 3 and Arkham Knight too. Read More…

See Another Character & Match In Action For Overwatch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of May 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Another gameplay video for Overwatch has been released and this time shows off the angelic Mercy for Overwatch Earlier we had a look at Zenyatta for Overwatch and it was a bit jarring and a letdown for me. I was so very excited and then seeing things in action kind of let me down. At least until now as I have seen it looks like it was only the character there that has me on edge about Overwatch. I say this because now we have a good look at how Mercy will handle in the game; at least in terms of the pre-alpha footage that was used to show off the match that focuses completely on this healing angel that looks to play a lot like all of the medics from Evolve. While the medic isn't usually my class of choice in games like Overwatch, the following footage definitely shows me that I may have been too quick to judge based on the previous gameplay that Blizzard has sent our way. Things Warm Up A Bit In Kholat's Environments
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of May 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Another trailer for Kholat has been released by IMGN.PRO that shows off even more of the environments in Kholat Recently we had a bit of Kholat's environment shown off and it was nothing but an awesome deep freeze with an empty world. IMGN.PRO has yet another look at the game's empty world with another, yet longer, look at the game's environments. As was with the last video we are definitely getting that lonely vibe that looks to be present through Kholat's psychological horror gameplay I know I am still waiting to see. Seems odd that all we have had has been environment looks since Kholat launches on PC on June 10th but I guess beggars can't be chooses here. Read More…

How Does Batman: Arkham Knight's Dual Play Really Work?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
More information and gameplay for Batman: Arkham Knight's dual play mechanic have been shown off by Rocksteady and we have the details here for you By now all of us who are excited for Batman: Arkham Knight to launch have seen or heard about the dual play system coming in this iteration of the game. Until today there has been little known about how it will work in game but we have just known it is an option in Batman: Arkham Knight. Read More…

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Will Give You A Night To Remember
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of May 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A launch cinematic trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been released and it is as impressive as the game itself looks to be Next week is the big week for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. That of course being the week the rest of the world will be able to experience the game on their PS4, Xbox One, or PC. I am sure that CD Projekt RED has to be on pins and needles right now even though the first waves of reviews have been generally positive for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. For most developers this would generally mean sitting back on their laurels and waiting to see how the masses accept their game but instead we have an insanely high quality launch cinematic from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that shows off the quality we've heard and seen up to date. Looks Like Some Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition Footage Leaked
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Two very short clips of what is thought to be Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition have cropped up online and point to an Xbox One release for the titles The rumor of a Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition coming to the Xbox One anytime soon may have just received a huge update and confirmation. If things are to be believed it looks like a new bit of gameplay has found its way onto an Xbox video recording service that points to the remastered version of the franchise. Of course the original footage has been removed from the site but the internet is a wonderful thing and nothing stays hidden for long. That being said, we have that lost Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition footage just a bit lower down just for you. Read More…
