Batman
The release date for the third episode of Batman: The Enemy Within has been set and we will be back with Batman next week
If you have been pining for the next episode of Batman: The Enemy Within to finally drop, then the wait is almost over as it is coming next week on November 21st for all of its platforms new and old. Just about when it should have been expected based on the norms that Telltale Games has for us with these titles and this one looks like it is going to be just as insane as they have been in the past. Of course, that is if you have been playing them from episode to episode and not waiting for the entire season of Batman: The Enemy Within to be playable in one shot. I know not everyone likes to have breaks in their story when it comes to video games, but that can be their loss a bit.
In this new episode, it looks like Bruce is going even deeper into the world of the villains to uncover what Batman just cannot as of yet. Not to mention dealing with all of the other things going on with Amanda Waller and Commissioner Gordon. All kinds of insanity going on and I am sure that Telltale will capitalize on all of it. At least they have been so far and it would be odd if they left the huge build for Batman: The Enemy Within to fall off and then deliver nothing solid. I guess we will know for certain next week, but I have faith that the whole thing will continue with the high level of quality we have seen so far.
Batman: The Enemy Within — Fractured Mask
After an unexpected reunion, Bruce finds his attention (and his loyalties) stretched in yet another direction. Now, in addition to brokering a power struggle between Commissioner Gordon and Amanda Waller, Bruce must balance romantic entanglements with his mission to infiltrate the Pact. As he plunges deeper into the criminal underworld, the villains' plan starts to come into focus, but will his deceptions take a dire toll?
Rendered to look like a living, breathing comic book, Telltale's vision of Batman features an award-winning cast of talent including Troy Baker, who returns to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne, as well as Anthony Ingruber, who reprises his fresh take on 'John Doe,' better known to fans as The Joker.
What are your thoughts on this season of Batman: The Enemy Within so far and does it look like this will be the huge build up for the climax? Do you see any of the choices you made in your game show up here or was it all generic enough for you that you could not even see minor things yet? Do you think that John Doe will still somehow be the ultimate villain in all of this? Let us all know your thoughts and more down in the comments.
