The Game Awards
The official list of nominated games for The Game Awards 2017 has been released as well as which categories fans of The Game Awards can vote in
Another year has gone by and that means it is time for The Game Awards to swing back around and celebrate all of those games that we have enjoyed since the last time we did the awards show. It is hard to believe it has been that long, but it has. Nonetheless, this also means that it is time for us to get ready to help The Game Awards by spamming in votes for our favorite video games, actors, studios, and gamers out there so they can be called to stage to collect their awards. There have been some great titles and performances this year so I guess it is truly time to recognize them all. Especially some of those smaller teams out there that have done some great work.
That all said, here is the full announcement of nominees for The Game Awards and the 29 different categories out there. Some of them do seem to be a bit stacked in one area and the usual suspects are here, but we cannot really get past that given the industry and how this is all run. Sure, we get to have our input out there on the final winners but do remember that these "top five" for each slot are selected by a different panel and your personal favorites or titles that should be included are not. Have a look and see where it all is down below and then get ready to vote so you can see if it all mattered on December 7th.
Also, as the nominees are now out there for The Game Awards, this also means that the voting is currently open for it all too. You can do it through multiple ways, like through the website directly, Google Searching "Game Awards Vote", sending Twitter DMs, and Facebook Messages to The Game Awards' specific accounts. You know, to make sure that there are so many different ways to vote and also add in a whole lot of ways to stack it all through "counting errors." Not that we think that would ever happen and elections get rigged through social platforms and all…
