Turns out Sumner Redstone has sold his controlling stake of Midway games for US$100 thousand. This equates to $0.0012 per share. Talk about a black friday deal. Redstone has sold his 87% of Midway for $100,000 to Mark Thomas  on the condition he picks up the $70 million dollar debt the company is in right now. As you should know Midway is most recognised for it's Mortal Kombat which was once a very controversial title in which you could rip your opponents still beating heart out. Even new iterations of Mortal Kombat haven't provided enough cash to sustain the company which has lost nearly half a billion dollars in the last five years and has been under constant threat of losing it NYSE listing. Japanese gaming mag Famitsu revealed that 360 owners will be getting a co-op demo of RE5 next week Friday, December 5th. The demo will have two stages to play through, most likely the ones we've been seeing in the trailers. You don't have to play co-op if you don't want to, there's also a single player option. Killzone2 - Helghan - PlayStation 3 Well if you are still pining over this game and need a fix, here is a new trailer for your viewing pleasure. It is a high definition video of some of the cut scenes of the game. No real game play from what I saw, but then again with most games today using the game engine for their cut scenes over FMV, you can assume it will look about the same visually. I know many of Pwned.com's members are, like me, big supporters of Google. I've been highly anticipating the Google G1 Android Phone, and it has finally been announced that the phone will be available in stores on October 22, 2008. What is Android, you might ask? Android is a software platform and operating system that Google developed for mobile devices. Based off of the Linux kernel, it also allows developers to code in a Java-esque syntax: however, it does not provide the full-class libraries/APIS that come with the Java SE or Me, but rather implements the Apache Harmony Java.  Regardless of its seemingly limited functionality, Paul Reddick, CEO of Handmark (a developer of mobile media apps and services for the iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, and other OSs) thinks Android will "help breed the simple and elegant programs consumers crave". 1-60 in 20 minutes Ok, so at first when I read about the new WoW level a friend thing, I kind of thought that the day of traditional PLing had gone away. This is true and false after further reading, like 8 or 9 times to get what they were trying to get at. Which is cool, but not all that cool. Pretty much, any new player you refer to the game, they can grant a free level for every two they gain themselves. That is, new player is level 2, can give 1 level to a character of the person that recruited them, as long as the person gaining is lower level.
