A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming. It is time to wrap yet another week of gaming news and there has been some great and fun news to lead into the weeks of silence before E3. Soon we will have nothing more than a few little tidbits to speculate on or hope for until we get full announcements and details. Halo 5: Guardians Has Been Announced For A Fall 2015 Release

Halo 5: Guardians has been officially announced now by 343 Studios for the Xbox One next year. While the new installment of the Halo franchise was teased during the huge Microsoft event last year at E3, just weeks before this year's E3 we get the announcement and release window for Halo 5: Guardians. Good news for all of you Halo fans I am sure although I keep hearing the outcry for a Halo 2: Anniversary to be released on the XB1. Rumor Mill: God Of War 4 And Halo 5 At E3?

'Leaked' documents surrounding the three big E3 Press Events point to new games and demos not previously announced. It would seem that there is a new document showcasing the schedules for the Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo conferences making the rounds online. The validity of this document is still to be determined but if it is true we could be seeing a new God Of War title as well as a demo for Halo 5. Where Is The Teamwork When You Need It?

In a world full of Halos and Call of Dutys where players can be a one man army and carry their entire team to victory, how is it games like Army of Two, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, or even Battlefield manage to have such a large player base? The amount of people who group together isn't as large as it would seem. People, like me, don't have friends to play these games with because our friends either don't buy the game or trade it in shortly after it's released. So now I run into team based games alone and I'm forced to group up with people who either don't have a microphone or sit in a party with their friends who are playing different games. Read More...

Review: RVBX

I recently got the chance to sit through the whole 10th Anniversary box set of Red vs Blue. It consists of all 10 seasons of this superb show and to top it off each season has been re-cut into feature length style with no breaks and remastered with surround sound. Sometimes after shows have been around 10 years, as RvB has, it doesn't age well. I can assure you this is not the case here. Sorry for taking so long to let this review finally see the light of day. I played Halo 4 a bit differently for my first time and my co op partner was busy for a week or so. As I write this my hands are shaking as if my nerves have been shot, my heart rate sits at a steady rate a bit above normal, and my head is racing with countless thoughts and ideas about what I had just witnessed. Have you ever missed out on a hot new release game because you didn’t own the right console? It has probably happened to all of us one time or another due to a console exclusive. Console exclusives act as an ace in the hole for most companies when they market a console. This is a very common trend in the game industry that hurts not only the consumer but also the developers. By only releasing on one console its locks out the other half of gamers who only may own one console and limits the sale margin for said game. New Halo Anniversary Trailer Says What's Old is New

A new "BTS" or "Behind The Scenes" trailer has been released for the upcoming Halo: Anniversary. The trailer shows off a lot of new stuff such as Skulls in Campaign, as well as Kinect and 3D support. I was previously on the fence for getting Halo: Anniversary, but after watching this trailer, I can honestly say I'm 100% sold on this. The aforementioned were not the only improvements, now there is easier navigation through the Library. Halo Reach 360 Bundle Announced

It was announced that yet another XBox 360 bundle will be hitting store shelves this fall. The XBox 360 Limited Edition Halo: Reach Bundle will contain a 360 Slim, two wireless controllers, a wireless headset, a standard copy of Halo: Reach, an episode of "Halo Legends" and a token for a limited edition elite armor. The 360 Slim, controllers and headset will all be customized to theme-up with Halo: Reach. The entire package will retail at $399 and release day and date along with the game (September 14, 2010). Halo 2 Online Community Officially No More

Well, The Escapist has reported that the last player has been logged out of the final Halo 2 lobby on the Microsoft dedicated servers, officially ending the game's popular run since 2004. Despite Microsoft officially ending Live support for the original XBox on April 15th, a handful of dedicated Halo 2 fans refused to log off until the last one, with the handle Apache N4SIR was forcibly booted at 1:28 EDT this morning. Despite your feelings on the Halo franchise, it is pretty cool that even a game that is six years old is (well was) still supported by a committed fan base. For you non-hardcore Halo fans out there, you may not have known that the Halo: Reach beta is kicking off in the next week, May 3rd to be exact. Perhaps you did know because of the mighty inter-webs. In either instance, Bungie wanted to ensure that everyone knew that there was a Beta on the way.
