Your continued re-acclamation to the AggroCast resumes with Episode 76. Mike is back and better than ever, bringing serious gaming mojo to the returning E3 heroes, Brian and Binh. Okay, perhaps heroes is a bit strong, but the team is getting back into the swing of things. A quick recap of E3 has Mike jealous that Brian and Binh were able to attend the show. This week's Bargain Bin is from the Halo Universe. On the DL travels into the land of Final Fantasy. Read More...

While we catch up on our lives during this summer, you too can catch up with some previously unreleased episodes of the AggroCast. Start with Episode 75, the one where David, Binh and Brian wrap up E3 2010. E3 2010 Hands On: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
by Binh Nguyen [ Monday, 28th of June 2010 - 04:31 PM ]
At E3 2009 Konami showed a trailer, for the first time, for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Needless to say, it took nearly everyone by surprised. A year later Konami showcased the game with a playable demo. I wasn't able to play the full length of the game but I still played long enough to talk about what I played. The demo started off in the rainy village, where Gabriel has come to find leads about the whereabouts of a powerful unnamed entity. As Gabriel rides up on his horse he is sees villagers leaving the town. Read More...

E3 2010 Hands-On: Mafia 2
by Binh Nguyen [ Saturday, 26th of June 2010 - 09:55 PM ]
At E3 2009, when 2K Games made their announcement about making a sequel for Mafia, I was excited on the idea. That excitement grew after playing the demo for the first time at PAX East in Boston. I wanted to play more. A year later, once again 2K Games is showcasing Mafia 2. This time with a much longer hands-on demo of the game. The demo began with you playing as Vito. You are making your way towards the phone as it's ringing off the hook in a '50's house in a typical suburban surrounding. Read More...

E3 2010 Hands-On: The Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword
by Brian Bentley [ Monday, 21st of June 2010 - 03:50 PM ]
It started with a rush of excitement from the crowd in the Nokia Theatre on Tuesday morning and proceeded throughout E3. A brand-new Legend of Zelda was coming to the Nintendo Wii. Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is the Wii Motion Plus-based adventure fans have been clamoring for since the little white box’s inception. Not much of the story has been released for Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, but judging by the reaction at the Nintendo Press Conference and how long people were willing to wait in line to experience the brief demo at E3, that is not a concern…yet. All these people needed (myself included) was simply the chance to put the announced one-to-one movements to the test. Read More...

E3 2010 Impression: Nintendo 3DS
by Binh Nguyen [ Sunday, 20th of June 2010 - 10:05 PM ]
Since the first announcement of the Nintendo DS back in 2004 and the many versions that have followed, hearing of a new iteration has many asking: do we really need another DS? In  this case, yes we do. At their press conference, Nintendo showcased for the first time their latest new portable device - the Nintendo 3DS. The Nintendo 3DS is a device that can show 3D effects without the need for any special glasses. Wednesday morning I beelined right into the Nintendo booth to get some hands-on with the new device. E3 2010: Stock full of Trailers
by Binh Nguyen [ Wednesday, 16th of June 2010 - 03:39 PM ]
So apparently, waiting was not on the agenda in the days prior to E3 opening.  What I mean by that is just the other day on Spike TV - they had their pre-E3 show where they showed a lot of the new trailers that previously, we would have had to wait until the actual show to see these trailers. But since we all live on the Internet, instant gratification is all we have time for anymore. So here you guys go with bunch of trailers of Socom 4, Killzone 3, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, Dead Space 2, Devils Third, Gran Turismo 5 and Shank. Hope you all enjoy. Read More...
