We Sit Down And Review Castlevania Lords Of Shadow 2. This is the supposed finale to this iteration of the franchise but does it end on a high note? It is been a long time coming but I finally got to play Castlevania Lords Of Shadow 2 in all of its glory and non-demo version. I've been a bit worried about the visuals of the game as well as the controls since I first laid hands on the first build. You can imagine that I wanted to put this to the test and see if this would be the way that Mercury Steam wanted to end the Lords of Shadow story. Yesterday we got a look at what Konami and its developers are bringing to E3. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 being one of the larger titles talked about and shown off. Amongst all the PR hype and a dumb looking Mega64 parody we got a nice 6 minute trailer showing the game in action. At E3 2009 Konami showed a trailer, for the first time, for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Needless to say, it took nearly everyone by surprised. A year later Konami showcased the game with a playable demo. I wasn't able to play the full length of the game but I still played long enough to talk about what I played. The demo started off in the rainy village, where Gabriel has come to find leads about the whereabouts of a powerful unnamed entity. 38 Studio's just announced that it has signed an agreement with Electronic Arts to publish their first title, which is not their MMO. 38 Studios, LLC is the enterprise of Curt Schilling (World Series MVP) and the creative minds of R.A. Salvatore (of Drizzt fame) and Todd McFarlane (Spawn anyone?) . 38 Studios has been working on an epic fantasy title code named 'Project Mercury', under the watchful eye of Ken Rolston, known best for being the lead designer of Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
