At E3 2009, when 2K Games made their announcement about making a sequel for Mafia, I was excited on the idea. That excitement grew after playing the demo for the first time at PAX East in Boston. Hidden in the back corner, deep within the confines of the EA booth was a small Church of Unitology. Within the church was a plethora of wooden pews with "hymn" books placed before them. At this year's E3 it seem like everyone and their mother had some sort of shooter that will be coming out later this holiday season or sometime in 2011. Yager Productions and 2K games is no exceptions where they showcase Spec Ops: The Line for the first time. There is no doubt in anyone's mind that I am extremely excited to play Naughty Bear. Partially to see how many other rules from the book How To Be More Like Hades™ are in the game. Also partially because it looks like it will be a laugh riot to force teddy bears to do unspeakable things to each other. Something we have all been thinking since the announcement back in April. Yea there have been a few shots before, but here we go with a few more. A few more that are extremely stunning and blood filled. Nothing to the level of Splatterhouse in terms of blood and gore, but still. Although there has been some controversy over the rules in his Book Of Naughty™, Naughty Bear at least lives up to his book unlike all the posers out there that say they follow the Book of Naughty™ or the Guide To Being More Like Hades™. Popular concert series Video Games Live has announced a crazy line-up of the of some of the most familiar and epic video game soundtracks for a new 90-minute special they are filming for PBS. Now, Video Games Live has been around for a while and is the brainchild of game music composer Tommy Tallirico and Jack Wall. For the unitiated, Video Games Live consists of video game music performed by a live orchestra with game footage and different lighting effects to coincide with the footage. This version of the concert will include music from the Super Mario, Zelda, Sonic, Halo, Warcraft, Final Fantasy, Castlevania, God of War, Civilization, Chrono Cross, StarCraft and Guitar Hero franchises, and will also be "including a musical journey through Classic Gaming". You can also see the art at the bottom of this post. About a year and a half ago ago I bought the first Dead Space used in the bargain bin, looking to kill some time. I wasn't expecting to, but I personally really enjoyed the first Dead Space. No matter how you would do that, I won't let it detract from the new "teaser" trailer for Killzone 3. Something you can see below or over at the official Killzone 3 website. If you want to go through all the normal BS to see this trailer and such. At first this may not look like much of a tease since it is all a pre-rendered fight scene.
