After waiting two hours in line at the booth for The Darkness II my friend and I finally made it in to get our grimy little hands on the demo. We were the last batch of the day and the seven of us were ushered into the heavily guarded and boxed in booth. Inside it was dark with black lights and heavy, clear curtains dividing the actually play area from the main section. The creepy ambiance and The Darkness occasionally chiming in reminding us of its evil and demonic intentions set the mood for this sequel; Dark, Grim and Scary. Before we were able to play the actual game the Producer, Seth, gathered us around and told us that there are twelve screenshots out right now and if there happens to be a thirteenth one there is going to be hell to pay. Batman Catches The Armed Man In Arkham City, Also A Release Date

You know that bastard that gets blamed for everything. That damned one armed man. Well he is running around Arkham City and Batman has him in his sites. Who would have thought that he was actually one of the Joker's clown makeup wearing lieutenants, let alone actually exist? By Matt Waitt Microsoft has recently posted a few job listings on their website, which suspiciously looks a lot like some console building jobs. The job listings include: A Graphics Hardware Architect stating "The ideal candidate should have a broad background in 3D graphics rendering architectures and algorithms (ideally with gaming applications in mind), 3D software pipelines, and physics." Isaac Isn't The Only One Fighting Through The Sprawl Of Dead Space 2

You know one thing I noticed when playing through Dead Space 2, and the other Dead Space titles for that matter? The lack of other real "hero" types on the ship or Sprawl. Yea Extraction and Ignition had other protagonists, but for the most part they turned out not as heroic as Isaac. I mean Ignition had 2 scenarios where Franco kills Sarah in cold blood. Then you have McNeill in Extraction that seems to have been turned into a Necromorph in the epilogue of the game.* Well, come this March 1st we will get to see another protagonist, from Extraction, try to fit into Isaac's Rig to add another two chapters to Dead Space 2. By Matt Waitt Over the past couple weeks Fox News has blasted Bulletstorm as being "the worst video game in the world" as well as their typical fear mongering, fact-less accusations and other assorted nonsense that they tend to discharge out of their empty skulls. A blog on Foxnews.com kicks some dirt on Epic Games and People Can Fly with some fact absent claims such as "sexual situations and acts in video games – highlighted so well in Bulletstorm – have led to real-world sexual violence." For a friendly reminder this statement is a joke. So No Co-Op In Batman: Arkham City

Well we can put the rumors the Batman: Arkham City co-op video that found its way to the internet started. In a recent interview Sefton Hill from of Rocksteady Studios gave there will be no co-op play in Arkham City. It will be a single player game only. This kind of makes me extremely happy. Especially with the reasons being that they didn't want to take anyone from the team off the work on single player to deliver a rushed co-op mode.
