If you've been sitting around hoping for a new Need For Speed title to continue the franchise then today is your day. Not your lucky day but your day as a new Need For Speed is coming this Fall for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The reason it may not be your lucky day is that this new installment for the franchise is a full reboot from EA and Ghost Games. This is always a gamble when it comes to fans which is why I'm not saying you are lucky or unlucky here. But hey, we are all getting a new Need For Speed title this year.
Details for the Need For Speed reboot are still a bit sketchy and will most likely be detailed out during E3 but here is what has been given out besides the following teaser trailer. First, the new Need For Speed is being developed on the latest Frostbite engine so we know it will look pretty. There will be a larger focus on customization, authentic urban car culture, a nocturnal open world, and an immersive narrative that pulls you through this Need For Speed. Also we are going to be getting a full trailer on June 15th so there is that to look forward to as well.
There you have it. All the 'knowns' for Need For Speed now so you can bet we will have a long drawn out portion during EA's press conference next month. Until then you can see that teaser for the Need For Speed reboot just below these words.
