We've seen them a bit in the past with other Batman: Arkham Knight trailers and videos but now it is time to dive right in and see how Rocksteady went about creating some of the characters for the upcoming finally to the franchise. We have yet another Batman: Arkham Insider to look at and this time, as mentioned, it is all about the characters. In fact this one is more focused on Batman, Scarecrow, and the Arkham Knight and the design choices that went into making them look and feel as they do. Not to mention it gives us all another look at very little more on Batman: Arkham Knight as we are now a month out from launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. June 23rd is quickly approaching.
So what new can you expect to learn in the following video for Batman: Arkham Knight? Um…well…there is the fact that the Arkham Knight himself has a military based theme as does the cohorts of the Arkham Knight. Um…there is also the rugged look of Scarecrow who has recovered from the first and only solid time we saw him in Batman: Arkham Asylum. Oh…there is the cool fact that the new armor for Batman is based off trying to link him more to the Batmobile. A blend of Man and Machine… so Batman is more like Iron Man now… Maybe it will all make sense when we actually play Batman: Arkham Knight.
One thing I have to ask though before you head on to see the latest for Batman: Arkham Knight is why do all villains have a theme to their wardrobes? I get that the Arkham Knight would given the military theme but why do all of the Penguin's and Two Face's guys have to have the theme? Wouldn't it keep things less organized for Batman if they had a hodgepodge of uniforms for their henchmen? I guess it is a hubris thing for them outside of knowing what gang each person should be hanging out with. That's what we'll go with for now and moving into Batman: Arkham Knight.
Batman: Arkham Knight — Characters Unmasked
Pretty nice and not much more explained for Batman: Arkham Knight there. At least we had a nice behind the scenes kind of look at all of this. As an extra little treat we also have a cool little Live Action Trailer that has nothing to do with Batman: Arkham Knight outside of pushing the game. I'll never get these kinds of trailers when most of us just want to see the game in action and not some actors running around pretending like they are the game. Err…I mean…They are the Bat. Have a look.
Batman: Arkham Knight — Be The Batman Trailer
So what are your thoughts on the above videos you have just seen for Batman: Arkham Knight? Does it lead to more questions that will have to be answered after the game launches? Did more just spawn up? Wouldn't it be cool if Rocksteady's next title was a Spawn game that was done in the same vein as Batman: Arkham Knight or the franchise as a whole?
