by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Some new information and talks came out for Tales From The Borderlands at SXSW. Here is the whole panel showing off all that fun stuff. So back at the VGXs Telltale and Gearbox announced Tales From The Borderlands and that was about it, outside of a short little announcement trailer. Then a whole lot of silence and nothingness. I know you are all heart broken. Well the good news I have for you here is that during the annual SXSW conference in Austin both companies have decided to bring the con goers some new information and details. Read More...

Review: The Walking Dead: Season 2 — A House Divided
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of March 2014 - 05:02 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review The Walking Dead Season 2 - A House Divided. It's The Second Episode. Does It Keep The Steamroller Of A Franchise Rolling? The short wait is over and it is time to continue where Episode One left our little group of survivors in the middle of the end of times. There is a lot going on this time around as the 'villain' of the season has been presented and taken a leading role. Here we go with a hopefully spoiler free review of this episode. Should you be downloading and playing through it right now even with all of the other great titles out? Read More...

We Need New Consoles Right Now
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 10th of March 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Is PC gaming the real way to go or do we need new console releases to keep up with the changing times? In the past few years, I have gotten more and more into PC gaming. One thing I have started to notice is the gap in quality is more and more astronomical. I am not here to start an internet fan boy flame war, only to give an opinion that might work out well for everyone. We need newer and better consoles, more frequently. I know you may be thinking “has this guy lost his marbles? Read More...

Review: Castlevania Lords Of Shadow 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Castlevania Lords Of Shadow 2. This is the supposed finale to this iteration of the franchise but does it end on a high note? It is been a long time coming but I finally got to play Castlevania Lords Of Shadow 2 in all of its glory and non-demo version. I've been a bit worried about the visuals of the game as well as the controls since I first laid hands on the first build. You can imagine that I wanted to put this to the test and see if this would be the way that Mercury Steam wanted to end the Lords of Shadow story. Let's bite into this review already and see if the franchise has been bled dry or if there is still a bit of immortality left. Read More...

Looks Like Watch Dogs Will Let You Hack Anything, Including Steam Pipes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of March 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
We have a few more Watch Dogs screen shots to help expand on how the game looks and what you can hack. Yesterday we got a release date for Watch Dogs and a story trailer. Also peppered in were a few new rumors and speculation that have been debunked. Things like resolution lowering and features removed from Watch Dogs. Also things that I won't touch on as they appear to be all internet hearsay and/or small blogs trying to grab attention. For shame all of you. Read More...

More On The Still Not 100% Confirmed Dishonored II
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of March 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
A new fact sheet for Dishonored II has surfaced describing a bit more as well as a 2016 release window. It's only been a few days since we first saw the possible 'leak' of Dishonored II and now we have some follow up 'leakage'. As Bethesda doesn't respond to rumors and speculation none of this can be confirmed at all as of yet but we have another item to lead to the announcement of Dishonored II. This time it is in the form of a fact sheet of sorts that shows off a few features that we might be able to look forward to. What exactly is on this fact sheet? Read More...

More Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Screen Shots To Shake A Stick At
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of March 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
We have a plethora of new screens for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Look it's Psycho Mantis! We are quickly coming up on the launch of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes so it's good that we are getting a few new screen shots to help tide us over until that date. Most of them look lifted from gameplay videos that we have seen before or just title screens so…wait a hot minute…is that Psycho Mantis? Holy crap it is and in his PS1 low res glory. Maybe it is worth a deeper look at all of these new screens just to see what else we have going on here. Read More...

Watch Dogs Info 'Leaked' Too But At Least There Is A Release Date
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of March 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Watch Dogs has had its release date and story trailer 'leaked' but confirmed by Ubisoft. Finally it is coming out. Here we go with yet another 'leak' of information and this time it is for Watch Dogs from Ubisoft. As I looked over the internet and media this morning it almost seemed like everyone and their cousin's sister's former roommate was talking about this 'leaked' trailer and date. About an hour after this, the official twitter account for the game confirmed and posted all the details including the following story trailer for Watch Dogs. Just as with the other 'leaks' I think this was more planned or a slip up while uploading the trailer to YouTube. Read More...

It's Time For A Project Spark Beta Montage!
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of March 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
A recent video from Team Dakota shows off all of the creative 'games' Project Spark beta users have created on the Xbox One. I remember back when Project Spark was first announced and shown off to a lack luster acceptance. I also remember getting to see it up close and personal with many members of the press and convention goers giving it little acknowledgement. Now that the beta is in full swing for Windows 8 and Xbox One users all of those naysayers from before seem to be singing a different tune or at least they should be based on what has been created within Project Spark. What makes me say this is the recent video for Project Spark that has just been loosed to the web that shows off some of the creative ways users have used it just in the beta. Read More...

Murdered Soul Suspect Has A New Viral Campaign To Open Your Eyes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of March 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Murdered Soul Suspect is getting the viral ad campaign and a solid release date this week. June 3rd in NA and June 6th in EU. There is a bit of new viral marketing going on for Murdered Soul Suspect it would seem. I am not a huge fan of this kind of marketing but at least it isn't a countdown clock. Those have to be the two biggest things I loathe when it comes to marketing a game. At least we don't have the countdown for when Square Enix is going to be placing Murdered Soul Suspect on shelves any more. Read More...

Did Dishonored II Accidentally Get Announced?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of March 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Dishonored II: Darkness Of Tyvia may have just been announced via accidental screen capture. Details below. If the rumors are to be true then it looks like Dishonored II may be coming soon and with a full reveal at this year's E3. If you look below at the latest image that has been floating around, I've been able to track it back to AllGamesBeta’s Twitter post, it looks like someone got a look at the game and snuck a nice little picture of what looks like a presentation screen. I'll give you a moment to soak it in. Alrighty then. Read More...

The New Arkham Game Announced, Batman Arkham Knight, & Back With Rocksteady
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of March 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
Batman Arkham Knight has just been fully announced and is back in the hands of Rocksteady. Not to mention next gen and PC only. So this was unexpected today. Batman Arkham Knight has been announced from Warner Bros. and Rocksteady. Yes, you read that. Rocksteady and not Warner Bros. Games Montréal where I thought the franchise had moved on to slowly piddle out as did most others I know who were not impressed with Arkham Origins. I guess it looks like Warner Bros. just wanted another title, or two, to come out while Rocksteady worked on bring the franchise to the next gen platforms. Read More...

It's Titanfall's Turn To Have 'Leaked' Screen Shots
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Some new screen shots for Titanfall have found their way to the web. Speculations abound as well as some verified info. With only weeks away from Titanfall's launch it would seem to make sense that we would get some 'leaked' screens or info. Between nefarious reviewers, stores breaking street dates, or any other myriad of ways people have been able to get gold copies of Titanfall something has to be 'leaked'. I see it all the time and everyone is all "holy hells, new info we wouldn't know for another week or so!" Sorry for the rhyming. Read More...
