by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of December 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Warhammer It is official now that Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will be heading to the consoles after much speculation that we would see this Warhammer game head there too Since Warhammer: Vermintide 2 was first revealed and shown off for the PC it was heavily speculated that we would be seeing the game also on the consoles at some point. It was speculated but never confirmed from Fatshark and it seemed odd to many. Especially since Warhammer: End Times — Vermintide made the jump to the PS4 and Xbox One after a year of being released. Space Hulk: Deathwing Is Getting An Enhanced Edition For Consoles In Q4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Space Hulk While Space Hulk: Deathwing may have released on PCs already, the wait for the console version of Space Hulk: Deathwing continues but will be getting big enhancements Since Space Hulk: Deathwing launched near the end of last year on the PC it has been met with a few mixed reviews but still seems to be holding strong with the core fans of the universe. Something I am going to guess is to the pleasure of Streum On Studio as they are still working on the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game so that even more fans can have access to it. I was under the assumption a while ago that Space Hulk: Deathwing was going to hit all platforms at the same time and was a bit let down that it missed the mark. Read More...

It Is Time To Enter The Darkness Of Space Hulk: Deathwing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of December 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Space Hulk After a slight delay, Space Hulk: Deathwing is just about to launch and we have a new trailer to get us amped up for Space Hulk: Deathwing's big day on PC It looks like the day is almost here that Space Hulk: Deathwing is going to release. After its recent beta it was hit with a very slight delay but it seems that Streum On Studio hammered all of that out as the game is hitting PCs here this week. Along with all of that, we also have a new trailer for Space Hulk: Deathwing to show off all of the winning points that Focus Home Interactive wants us to focus on. Not that there aren't many more but this is just how launch trailers usually roll and it doesn't leave a lot of us wanting…at least unless you don't plan on picking up the game at launch after this. Space Hulk: Deathwing Shows Off Some Sweet Solo Campaign Moves
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of November 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Space Hulk A new gameplay video for Space Hulk: Deathwing has released and it shows off about 17 minutes of unedited Space Hulk: Deathwing solo campaign gameplay Up to now we've seen a lot of gameplay for Space Hulk: Deathwing and given that the game is hitting the PC on December 9th it would make sense that we wouldn't see much more until after that date. We would all be wrong though as it looks like Streum On Studio and Focus Home Interactive have opted to give us a nice long bit of gameplay to look at. In fact, we have a nice long seventeen minute video of the solo campaign of Space Hulk: Deathwing that has been left in its raw form without all of the usual clean up to make the game look amazing. Let Vengeance Be Your Song As You Enter Space Hulk: Deathwing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of November 2016 - 10:00 PM ]
Space Hulk Another look at Space Hulk: Deathwing has been placed out there to show off how much detail has been placed into each Space Hulk in the game Good news for those fans of Warhammer 40K as we have yet another video here for Space Hulk: Deathwing to show off and get you all hyped up for this game to hit the PC on December 9th; the PS4 and Xbox One will see it in 2017. None the less here though, we have yet another look at the game and how much detail that Streum On Studio has put into the game to make it feel "true" to the universe that the game is set in. I figured this would have been a given since the start of it all but who am I to say we shouldn't get more gameplay footage for Space Hulk: Deathwing as we wait the next few weeks to get the game. New Gameplay For Space Hulk: Deathwing Has Finally Landed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of April 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Space Hulk A new bit of gameplay for Space Hulk: Deathwing has been released and goes into detail on some of Space Hulk: Deathwing's locations and combat we will need to master It's been over a year since we last had any kind of look at Space Hulk: Deathwing. There have been a few updates here and there out of Streum On Studio to let us know the development is still flowing and they are using Focus Home Interactive's money in the proper way but we have yet to see much in the way of gameplay. Space Hulk: Deathwing is slated to release sometime this year on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC so it would be nice to get to see something well before the release and not a few weeks out. I know I'd like that at least. Read More...

Review — Binaries
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 4th of April 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Binaries We sit down and review Binaries. It's a quirky little platformer of sorts from another small developer. Here's our review of Binaries Binaries is the world’s first concentration-platform game developed by Ant Workshop. This is the Scotland based developers first project. Lead developer Tony Gowland has been a game designer for over fourteen years, and has quite the list of accomplishments along with Will Morton who has many accomplishments to his name as well. I found this game to be a love hate relationship. I would power through levels and get angrier with each death. Read More...

More Space Marines With Space Hulk: Deathwing On The PS4, Xbox One, & PC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of June 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A new 'summer' trailer has been released for Space Hulk: Deathwing coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC If you have an illness and the only cure is more space marines then look no further than Space Hulk: Deathwing. This is the latest in the Space Hulk franchise, at least in the video game world, and it definitely looks like it is going to have a cure for that illness. As if there weren't already enough of those franchises coming out later this year or in 2015 but different stokes for different folks I guess. You can take that phrase in whatever way you want but I meant it in the most Puritanical way that I know. Read More...

Review: Race The Sun
by Kenton Winkfield [ Thursday, 13th of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
We sit down and review Race The Sun from Flippfly on Steam. What's more fun than a futile high speed chase to keep yourself from dying? The gentlemen at Flippfly have given us just that with Race The Sun, a simple yet difficult racing game where you must avoid walls, spires, fish, blocks, and even shadows to delay your imminent death. Flippfly is an indie game studio that was started by two brothers in 2012. Their experience in both web design and video game programming has led them to create amazing works of video gaming art that haven't been seen before. Read More...

Review: Sorcery
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 27th of June 2012 - 04:55 PM ]
Sorcery was shown to all of us over two years ago at E3 as a "tech demo" of sorts to show off the cool things that Sony had in store for us with motion gaming. It was the first real "wow" thing for the Move and then it kind of went silent. Then it popped back into existence all of a sudden to try and sell more of the controllers that were losing their steam in a market that doesn't really want motion controls. But does that mean that this is just some slopware? Well keep reading if you wish to know. Read More...

Here Is What Sorcery's Story Is About
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of April 2012 - 10:02 PM ]
I know we've shown quite a bit of Sorcery on here but there has never been any real substance as to what the story of the game is all about. We've covered the early visuals, the early controls and the early basics of the game but we have yet to actually go over the story of the game. You know that one thing that a lot of you gamers out there glance over just to jump in and enact your twisted fantasies. Good news for those out there that were hoping to get some story to go along with all the above. The basics of the story have just been loosed on the internet for us to get some kind of idea. CES 2012 Hands On: Sorcery
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of January 2012 - 11:02 PM ]
Here's a title that was announced when the Move controller was first brought up on the E3 show floor. Since then, there has been very little on Sorcery outside of the recent game play videos. You can only imagine how I felt when I saw that Sony was showing this title off in their gaming section at CES. Finally we got to see how the game has evolved and how it will actually play. Also if it was going to hold up to my anticipations of being a Move game that could actually push the motion controller off of shelves and into use. Read More...
