Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell Proves Musicals Are Mostly Evil
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of December 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
A new musical trailer for Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell has debuted and it shows off the musical side of the devil We have another new and damn fun trailer for Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell. As the title here suggests we get a nice and fun look at how the game may take place as a musical. Hells, knowing the franchise this may actually be a long scene from the game proper and we just don't fully know yet. Deep Silver and Volition do know how to make a damn entertaining time though and this most recent trailer for Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell does it again; even if you are not the musical type. I just hope this isn't some Buffy music demon messing with things kind of experience in game though. Read More...

Assassin's Creed Victory Has Ironically Been Announced?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of December 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
It looks like the next Assassin's Creed title has been kind of announced in the way of Assassin's Creed Victory which takes place in Victorian London Yes, I find it funny that we are hearing word of Assassin's Creed Victory, at least in code-name form, with the recent blunders from Assassin's Creed Unity and Assassin's Creed Rogue here not too long ago. None the less it looks like we have a glimpse of the next annualized addition to the franchise in the way of Assassin's Creed Victory. The name of course supposed linked to the fact that the next title will take place during 19th Century/Victorian London. Read More...

See Why The Planet In Evolve Had To Be Evacuated
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of December 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Turtle Rock and 2K have released a new story trailer for Evolve and it shows exactly what the hunters are fighting for in the game It looks like there is more to Evolve than just running around killing "innocent" monsters and wildlife. I'm just as shocked as you as up until now the story has been pretty much just that. Now it looks like there is a new story or at least just a new mode for Evolve that details a bit more into why the 12 best hunters have been gathered to go after the massive monsters that seem to have shown up to destroy the planet. Well, at least make the planet a bit more inhabitable for them instead of the humans and robots that have dominated the land for gods know how long. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 11/24/14 — 11/28/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 29th of November 2014 - 12:00 AM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games The biggest take away for this week in video games would have to be Evolve, Reviews, and Telltale. When you look at the list of what we were able to cover this week in video games then it should be easy for you to see just about that. There were a few deviations from that list of items there but with American Thanksgiving and Black Friday causing so many hiccups in the news streams not many other developers and publishers had much in the way of news and updates for their titles. I am sure that will not be the case for the next few weeks given what is coming up in the world of video games. Read More...

Looks Like We Have The Evil Within — The Movie
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
A YouTuber has taken the time and care to pull all of the cut scenes and gameplay from The Evil Within to edit out a nice feature length horror film for us all The Evil Within was slated to bring us the most terrifying experience in video games to date. Some would claim that Bethesda and Tango Gameworks fell a bit short on that promise. For every one of those naysayers out there though there is at least one other gamer who has yet to try and make it through the whole game out of fear. I know at least three personal. Read More...

Looks Like The Monster In Evolve Is Starting To Nest
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
A new gameplay mode for Evolve has been announced called Nest. This is where the hunters need to hunt down the baby monsters while Mama protects them Until now we've seen the one game mode for Evolve called Hunt. To be honest I thought that this was going to be the only mode with just the maps, characters, and tactics changing to keep things feeling fresh. It looks like now we have a nice look at the latest mode announced for Evolve titled Nest. This is a mode where things get straight flipped up-side-down for all involved as the task is to save or destroy half a dozen little monster eggs scattered around the game's map. Read More...

Review: Grand Theft Auto V [Next Gen]
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Grand Theft Auto V. It did well when it was first released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 but how does the PS4 and Xbox One handle it? Here's our review It's been just a year in the making and now we have Grand Theft Auto V for the next gen consoles. It has a few bells and whistles added on as well as visual upgrades but is it really worth the price of admission to play something many fans have been playing for a while now? Did we really need some of these upgrades and do they make the next gen version of Grand Theft Auto V a must have purchase for those who have yet to experience the game? For that matter does it garner the attention of those who have yet to have picked up Grand Theft Auto V yet? Read More...

Review: Tales From The Borderlands — Zer0 Sum
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Tales From The Borderlands — Zer0 Sum. This is the first episode of Telltale's take on Gearbox's famed franchise. Here's our review on how they did The first episode and debut of Tales From The Borderlands is now here. This has been one of those most talked about titles and fans of the Borderlands franchise have been questioning its worth since the first announcement about a year ago. This is a huge franchise with a lot of rabid fans so Telltale had their work cut out to make Gearbox's franchise prosper in a non-FPS way. Did they hit the nail on the head or is this just another QTE sit and watch a predictable plot. Read More...

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Is Not Just Escort Missions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Two new gameplay videos for Resident Evil Revelations 2 have been released showing off how each character can help and team up to survive Slowly but surely we are going to see all of the game mechanics for Resident Evil Revelations 2 through short little clips. In fact two more little clips have cropped up here from the Resident Evil YouTube account that show off how the "buddy cop" thing is going to work out for you. Well at least in the regards of making sure Moira and Claire don't die and how they can help each other to explore and stay alive from all of the Afflicted in Resident Evil Revelations 2. At least there is one thing that they seem to be not making and that is another escort game where your partner is pretty much useless when not directly controlling them. Read More...

Time To Assault Your Eyes In Evolve With Parnell
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
IGN Has Shown Off The New Assault For Evolve Named Parnell And He Brings The Super Soldier Like No One Else Can We have our third Assault for Evolve now named Parnell. I believe that is all of the launching hunters that we will be getting in Evolve this coming February although I am sure that we will get hammered with DLC to keep the game ever evolving. You would be lying to yourself if you didn't think that was going to be the end goal for Evolve. At least the game is fun and the new hunters look like they are going to add well into the mix so maybe that will be forgivable as we get hammered more on the PS4, XB1, and PC for game superiority. Review: WWE 2K15 [Next Gen]
by Greg Tatterfield [ Monday, 24th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
We sit down and play 2K’s first next gen WWE game: WWE 2K15. Does it transition well into next gen? Find out in my review After a brief delay the long running WWE series has finally come to the next gen consoles. This time developed by visual concepts and helped by series veterans Yukes. WWE 2K15 makes a bunch of improvements upon the core gameplay of past games. Hated WWE 2K15 makes some great improvements over past games. I didn't have many things that I disliked about the game except for one feature. Read More...
