It Is Time To Go Behind The Notebook With Drawn To Death
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of February 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
Drawn To Death A new video for Drawn To Death is out and this one gives us a look at how and why some of the Drawn To Death artists crafted the world the way they did Unless you are blind and living under a rock, you should know that Drawn To Death has a very unique style in terms of the art direction. It's not the first of its kind but it definitely shows off the direction that Bartlet Jones wanted to go with in the game and it has captured the eyes of many and the disdain of others. Drawn To Death is definitely not going to be for everyone but at least it is something new and with some solid gameplay to back it all up and I look forward to April 4th when it finally is released in its final form on the PS4. See How A Goblin Is Made Here For Styx: Shards Of Darkness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of February 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Styx A new developer diary for Styx: Shards Of Darkness shows off a bit more of the game as well as how Styx has been evolved since the last game and beyond If Styx: Shards Of Darkness will be your first foray with this little goblin then A, you are missing out, and B, you need a crash course in who this little goblin is and how he has been crafted for the game and how he has evolved since. It would be odd if Cyanide Studios left him in the past and didn't use all of the new hardware and game to further show off this amazing character and while they are odd, they are not that odd. This is why we have a new developer diary of sorts to show off Styx in his new light as well as to get to know his personality a bit more and just to enjoy another great IP that is coming out of Focus Home Interactive. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Has Been Given A Release Date To Run Too
by Jana Lass [ Monday, 20th of February 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Crash Bandicoot A release date for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has been set and it looks like June will be when we dive back into these three Crash Bandicoot titles in HD Get ready to clear some calendar space as the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has finally be given a release date to look forward to and that would be June 30th now. This would be the latest HD collection that Vicarious Visions has been remastering for Activision and it is coming for the PS4. While I know many gamers out there would have rather had a full and new Crash Bandicoot title, at least this is a start and a nice little slice of nostalgia for all of those hardcore fans of the IP as well as the PlayStation name. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site Thus wraps yet another great week for video games. Now we get to relax, take it all in, and then go and play some of those games we've been reading and hearing about all week. New Gameplay For The Surge Shows How We Are Helping Combat Climate Change
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of February 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
The Surge The next gameplay video for The Surge has been released and shows us fourteen more minutes of The Surge and more of the story We've had some gameplay before for The Surge and now it looks like it is high time for us to get some more. Of course we always want more but Deck 13 needs to be able to keep some of it to themselves until May when the game lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Digressing aside though, here we are again with more gameplay for The Surge and this time it is more combat and a few new areas of the game to look at. The first time around I saw that the combat was a bit on the clunky side and barring any real detail it looked a bit broken. Read More...

Theseus Is A New VR Experience Aiming To Place Us Into The Myths
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of February 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Theseus A new VR title, Theseus, has been announced and we get a nice look at how Theseus' adventures are going to rebuilt in VR Greek stories are always full of fun stories and adventures for video games to use and now it looks like the stories of Theseus will be brought to life in a new VR experience that has just been announced. A new VR experience being crafted by Forge Reply and heading to platforms unknown for now. I think it would be safe to assume that Theseus will be coming to all of the major VR platforms, but as this is only an announcement of the game, it is fair that none of that is set in stone just yet. Not only that, but it looks like it will also be getting a nationwide theatrical release as well. Just another way to get more of our beloved Capcom IP here now. This Week In Video Games 2/6/17 — 2/10/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 11th of February 2017 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site That puts another wrap on another week of video games out there. Another pretty solid one again even though it was obvious which titles wanted to dominate the week. Looking at you Horizon Zero Dawn. But just because there was so much on that one title doesn't mean there wasn't a lot more on many other video games out there. We did get to see a bit for Injustice 2 and a nice update for Psychonauts 2. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of February 2017 - 08:00 PM ]
GreedFall A new RPG, GreedFall, has been revealed and it looks to whisk us away to the island of GreedFall to face off with all kinds of magic and mercenaries It's always good when we get to hear about a new title coming and here we go with another RPG called GreedFall. This one comes out of the continued partnership between Spiders and Focus Home Interactive; the pair that brought us all The Technomancer last year and other titles before that. Pretty much they are known for the RPG titles and now we are getting another one with GreedFall when it lands on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Of course that is all still a ways out as 2018 is the listed date, but we are still in the reveal area of the game and that means we still have a lot of time to get used to it all and see if it will be in our libraries when it launches. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 4th of February 2017 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site This week of video games totally felt a little skewed now didn't it? Between For Honor and Horizon Zero Dawn it almost felt like there were no other huge announcements or news to have been had. Of course we did as Resident Evil 7 had its first batch of DLC launch out there and then we had another character added into the mix for Injustice 2. There were also a few good recaps from titles that were shown off or discussed at PAX South and many other things. Read More...
