Rumor No More — Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Is Happening
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has been officially announced by Gearbox and 2K Australia. Looks like all the rumors were true. Earlier this week there were rumors abound about a supposed Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. I personally poked at the rumor but as it would turn out some other press outlet just broke the embargo on the announcement. If this forced Gearbox's hand to make things official is still up to debate but none the less here we have Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. As mentioned before, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel takes place after Borderlands but before Borderlands 2. Read More...

Finally A New Gameplay Trailer For The Evil Within Straight From PAX East
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 9th of April 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Bethesda has released a new trailer for The Evil Within in the build up to PAX East. Still so many questions unanswered… If there is one thing I love about big gaming and geek conventions like PAX it is that we get awesome new trailers like the one for The Evil Within we just received. Granted, this usually means that we all have to wait an obscene amount of time to finally hear some new little tidbit for a game we are excited for but at least it comes like clockwork. Only about two months from when we got our last up date in the form of a release date for The Evil Within. Again I am deviated from the original point here. Read More...

Wolfenstein: The New Order Is Giving You Nowhere To Run To…Baby
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 8th of April 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Bethesda has released a new trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order showcasing some new gameplay and story. Just in case you thought we were running light on the gameplay for Wolfenstein: The New Order we have a new trailer showing just that. Ok, well maybe more of the scripted in-game footage for the game but at least it is a bit more on the overall story that Machine Games and Bethesda are trying to tell. Not to mention some of those really fun "alternate history" blurbs mixed in that have seemed to become a staple in the Wolfenstein: The New Order marketing. If you look closer too I think that we can even catch a few of the other named characters of Wolfenstein: The New Order getting the business end of B. Read More...

The Elder Scrolls Online Gives Us Another Cinematic Reason To Play
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of April 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Here is a new cinematic trailer for The Elder Scrolls Online to help show why you should be playing the game. The Elder Scrolls Online is now out for the PC master race and soon for the second class citizens of the next gen consoles. There is also nothing like a fully pre-rendered trailer to show us why we should all be playing a game. As it would seem we have one of those new trailers for The Elder Scrolls Online in all of its glory. It is full CGI. Read More...

The Villains Of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Might Include Carnage
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of April 2014 - 07:01 PM ]
There is a new trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 showcasing some of the other villains Spider-Man will have to bring down. When it comes to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 visually what has been shown hasn't been as impressive as with The Amazing Spider-Man. This could be as we have been spoiled over the last few months with next gen graphics and all we seem to be getting are trailers for the last gen systems. If this is the case then we might have to rely just on the fun factor of the game as well as the story. What makes an interesting story for Spider-Man is usually the villains and their overall goals. The Wolf Among Us Episode 3 Is Slated For Release Next Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Shortly after the new trailer for The Wolf Among Us Episode 3 came the release date for the new episode. Just as I called it two days ago, A Crooked Mile, The Wolf Among Us' third episode has been given a launch date. That date being April 8th 2014. Only seven days after the new trailer for the episode at that. Just as I called it. The big kicker is that it is supposedly slated for a universal release to all platforms instead of PC and PlayStation first for a day or so. Read More...

The Wolf Among Us Episode Three Gets A New Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
The Wolf Among Us episode three — A Crooked Mile gets a new trailer. Hopefully this means the episode will be out soon. Finally, The Wolf Among Us brings us something that isn't an April Fools' joke in the form of a new trailer for the third episode of the game; A Crooked Mile. Something I have been waiting for all day and technically almost two months now; something new for The Wolf Among Us since the last episode is the larger of the two. The lack of April Fools' joke is just a plus. New gamers to The Wolf Among Us be warned; there are a few spoilers mixed into the trailer as it continues off from where we last left Bigby. Rumor Mill: More On The Last Of Us PS4 Port
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 31st of March 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A listing on Spanish site XtraLife points more to The Last Of Us making its PS4 debut… On June 19th… For about $90 USD… Last week we heard a rumor that The Last Of Us was going to be making a jump into the next-gen with a port to the PS4. None of that has been confirmed to date. Now we are seeing a little more to the rumor or at least a website's way of scamming gamers out of some cold hard cash for the amazing game. About $90 of that cold hard cash if everything is to be believed. While the link to the original listing of The Last Of Us Complete Edition has been removed from the Spanish website XtraLife. This Week In Gaming 3/24/14 — 3/28/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of March 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming. This felt like the most bi-polar week in gaming news in a long while. It all started out rather slow and then we were flooded with all kinds of new stuff to look forward to. The biggest bit of gaming news being with Batman: Arkham Knight's new character and gameplay mechanics; not to mention the huge purchase of Oculus by Facebook. Cyber stalking to a whole new level if things go as was speculated earlier this week. All kinds of crazy stuff here in the gaming world. Read More...

Get A Robot Dog With The Wolfenstein: The New Order Panzerhund Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A collector's edition of Wolfenstein: The New Order has been announced and called the Panzerhund Edition. It actually comes with a Panzerhund too. It looks like Wolfenstein: The New Order is stepping up into the crazy "collector's edition" arena with the recently announced Panzerhund Edition. The interesting part here though is that it DOES NOT come with a copy of the game. Bold move but let us see what all of you crazy Wolfenstein fans may be getting for your $100 USD if you so choose to get this crazy "collector's edition" for the game. Let it be known that there are only 5000 of these to be purchased before May 20th or until supply runs out. Read More...

A New Amazing Spider-Man 2 Gameplay & Dev Diary Video Swings Onto The Web
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
There is a new Amazing Spider-Man 2 dev diary that digs into some of the new mechanics for the game. Should we be excited for this film video game? It really feels like the film version of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is getting so many more trailers than needed while the video game version of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has had so few. Only two before today for the game if memory and sleuthing serves me correctly. I'm pretty sure it does so I'll just move on with everything. Read More...

Rumor Mill: The Last Of Us Might Be Getting A PS4 Edition?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Rumors abound on the internet about The Last Of Us getting a full PS4 edition. Could this be like the upgraded Tomb Raider edition? I'll have to mark this down on my "I hope this is true" list as rumors have now cropped up about a PS4 launch of The Last Of Us as soon as this summer. Yep, my personal game of the year as well as one of Sony's top IPs could be hitting the next gen console this summer. The rumors also cover the DLC that has come out for The Last Of Us as well. Exciting news indeed. Read More...

The Forest Looks Like An Awesome VR Version Of Don't Starve
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new trailer and screen shots for a PC/Oculus Rift title called The Forest have come from the mist. It really reminds me of Don't Starve… Sometimes it really bothers that I miss other amazing looking games like The Forest while covering other titles out there. I am sure it happens all the time as I am just one entity and there is so much going on the wide world of gaming. But I caught it and now it is time to bring you all what I have found and how exciting it looks. So, let us take a look at The Forest. Read More...

The Division Gets Some New Screen Shots And Night Time Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 24th of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Nine new screen shots for The Division have been released and we have them below. Just a lack of game details though. The Division is still looking top notch. It should, given how powerful the Snowdrop engine's tools have been shown to be. Well, we have a few more new screens for The Division down below for us all to look at. Nine new images that show what looks like all in-game images given the names hovering over other characters in the scene. What seems to be grabbing all the attention from everyone here is that these new screens for The Division are mainly focused on nighttime gameplay. Read More...
