The Evolve intro cinematic has been released online to get all those hunters read for the next big beta on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC In only a few more days we will all be helping Turtle Rock and 2K test out those servers for Evolve. The Nyko Data Bank was shown off at CES 2015 and adds an extra option to the internal storage for the PS4 in the way of 3.5" Drive If you've thought that only 500GB for your PS4 was a bit on the low side then you may want to keep your eye out for the Nyko Data Bank sometime later this year. The Nyko Data Bank, pictured below, is a nice little add-on for the PS4 that will allow you to swap out the system's hard drive for a 3.5" drive as opposed to the 2.5" that we are currently stuck with. A listing on the PEGI website may have confirmed a PS4 version of the popular indie title Limbo, not through PlayStation Now Hopefully by now you've at least heard of Limbo. Not the place of nothingness in popular religious mythologies but the video game. It is a fun little title from Playdead and has been named as one of the best indie titles for some time now. Limbo has seen a release on many different platforms ranging from the PC to the Xbox 360 to the PS Vita to the PS3. A test market survey for Far Cry from Ubisoft was sent out and it alludes to other options that we may see for the franchise moving forward Marketing surveys can be fun and in the case of the most recent one for Far Cry from Ubisoft it looks like the fun doesn't stop. In fact it flows and has now added all kinds of speculation to the future of the franchise that they are still doing extremely well with. Sony has just announced how it is going to try and appease all of those gamers who were affected by the PlayStation Network outage over the holiday week If you were like me then you were most likely not able to play online games on your PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 3 over the holiday week as some asshats thought it funny to take down both the PSN and XBL. Not only did it make things hard for all of those gamers who received their new consoles for the holidays but it also forced people to leave their families to fix the issue. There is a New Year's trailer for Dying Light and we have a bit more gameplay and features shown off with it It's a new year and it is time for some new stuff for Dying Light. Well at least in a fun little way of New Year's resolutions and a bit of extra gameplay. Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley quietly announced that the PlanetSide 2 beta could be live early in January 2015 Good news for those hoping for the PlanetSide 2 PS4 beta to be coming sooner than later. It looks like everything is on track for said beta to go live here in a few weeks. Right around the same time that the H1Z1 will be coming to Steam for early access. Speculation over Final Fantasy XV having online game components have arisen based on a job posting from Square Enix So it may be a bit of a stretch but it looks like the latest in Final Fantasy XV speculation is that there will be some kind of online component for the game. This all comes from Anime News Network scrounging for anything based on a job posting from Square Enix directly. It is a contract job that sounds pretty much like someone who would be needed to keep the web based interactions, like the Facebook notifications, flowing but others have chosen to dig in deeper with a meaning that most likely will never see the light of day on the PS4 and Xbox One.
