E3 2015 Impressions — Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Deus Ex: Mankind Divided In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Square Enix was no slouch at this year's E3 as it had many amazing titles to show off and one that I was lucky enough to look at was Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. You may have remembered this one being teased quite a bit over three days on Twitch only for Eidos Montreal to full announce the game was coming. There is still no release date outside of 2016 but that doesn't mean we didn't have anything else to show for it on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. In fact not only did we all get to see a shinier example of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided but we also were able to see quite a few of the new features even though the level map was considered "small" for the purposes of the demo. E3 2015 Impressions — The Technomancer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See The Technomancer In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Yet another title on the list of "those who tried to blow their wads before E3" would be The Technomancer since we all had a nice look and quite a bit of information handed to us before the expo even began. Thankfully though it looks like Spiders Games and Focus Home Interactive decided to leave some of the best for a behind closed doors-esque showing of The Technomancer. I state that because pretty much the whole video presentation that was shown can be seen below. Read More...

E3 2015 Hands On — Blood Bowl 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Blood Bowl 2 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It E3 isn't always about the biggest and best AAA titles but also little gems like Blood Bowl 2. This would be the fantasy, strategy title from Cyanide Studios and Focus Home all set around an epic football game where there are little to no rules that need to be abided by. At least when it comes to the safety of the players on the field. Fans of the franchise should already be well aware of all of that for Blood Bowl 2 but none the less I was able to get my hands on it at the show well before the September release date for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game. E3 2015 Hands On — Until Dawn
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Until Dawn In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Not too long ago we were treated to the news that Until Dawn would be launching the on the PS4 on August 25th. Not too long from now even though it misses the mark of the best month for horror titles. None the less it is and Supermassive Games was on the scene at E3 to show off more for Until Dawn and it wasn't just a new character actor or short clip. In fact it was a whole new section for Until Dawn that takes place around chapter six of the game. Read More...

E3 2015 Hands On — Disney Infinity 3.0
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Disney Infinity 3.0 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It One of the big splashes in the gaming industry has always been Star Wars and Disney Infinity 3.0 was on the scene to do just that as the other titles in the franchise. The big difference here is that it is able to strong-arm all levels of Star Wars fandom as it also mixes in all of the other IPs Disney Interactive can get their hands on from the parent company. When all is said and done though Ninja Theory is focusing on trying to make Disney Infinity 3.0 another great installment while playing on the nostalgia of the fans. Read More...

E3 2015 Hands On — Rock Band 4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of June 2015 - 09:01 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Rock Band 4 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It The rhythm games are making a comeback strong this year and Rock Band 4 is not going to slouch around and let the others take the limelight it is known for. In fact at E3 the only way to get hands on with Rock Band 4 was to swing by the stages that Harmonix and Mad Catz had set up to play the game on as well as give you that extra feeling of being a rock star again. We are all going to feel this way when October 6th rolls around and we hook up Rock Band 4 to our PS4 or Xbox One. This isn't just your good old fashioned Rock Band though as Rock Band 4 is also coming along with a few more updates than just the better controllers and drum fillers during the game. Read More...

E3 2015 Hands On — Call Of Duty: Black Ops III
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Call Of Duty: Black Ops III In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It If there was one title that always has lines around the booth it is Call Of Duty and that was no different for Call Of Duty: Black Ops III as Treyarch was on the scene to give all of us gamers out there a great taste of things to come this November 6th on the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. Well at least some of the things to come in terms of the multiplayer for Call Of Duty: Black Ops III as the campaign mode was better guarded this E3 than any other in the past. None the less we got to take the game for a spin in a nice dark room filled with allies and enemies to give the new stuff just for Call Of Duty: Black Ops III. Read More...

E3 2015 Impressions — Skylanders SuperChargers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Skylanders SuperChargers In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It One of the guilty pleasures that I have had over the years have been seeing the next Skylanders title in action at E3 and this year was no slouch as Skylanders SuperChargers was on the scene and showing off all of the new hardware and story coming to the franchise. This would be the latest from Vicarious Visions that is bringing vehicles to the mix of Skylands and to bring down the Evil Lord Kaos and all of his Doom-machines. If you knew the franchise that explanation of Skylanders SuperChargers would make perfect sense but none the less we have new, or newish, characters and their vehicles that also brings new gameplay and we were on the scene to see what we can expect to be new to the franchise with Skylanders SuperChargers when it launches on September 20th on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Wii U, and 3DS. E3 2015 Hands On — Mirror's Edge Catalyst
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Mirror's Edge Catalyst In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Moving into E3 Mirror's Edge Catalyst was another one of those titles that received the announcement treatment just before the expo proper and I wasn't expecting to see much more than a few gameplay demos and factoids abound. During the EA press event though it was let loose that those at E3 would be able to actually play Mirror's Edge Catalyst on the floor alongside the February 23rd, 2016 release date on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. I was lucky enough to be able to get my dirty little hands all over Mirror's Edge Catalyst to see if it lived up to the hype we all had so far as well as see if the bells and whistles for the reboot to the Mirror's Edge franchise would be the game we've been waiting for from DICE. E3 2015 Hands On — Guitar Hero Live
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Guitar Hero Live In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Given the fact that Guitar Hero Live was announced and slightly shown off recently from FreeStyleGames and Activision it wouldn't be E3 without getting to see it in action. Especially since the controller scheme has been changed up as well as a bit of the gameplay. Of course it was on the show floor and ready for play at E3 or you wouldn't be reading this before the October 20th release date on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, and Wii U. Those and the mobile platforms as well but for what we were able to see Guitar Hero Live was running on the PS4 and we had some real good hands on. Read More...

E3 2015 Hands On — Mad Max
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Mad Max In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It One of the games that helped start E3 off with a bang, at least for me, was Mad Max from Avalanche Studios. It was revealed back in 2013 before the new film was even a sparkle in our eyes by Avalanche Studios and it captured my attentions back then so I was overly excited to get to see how Mad Max has progressed over the years of development. It launches on September 1st for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC so hopefully it has made it to a state where we can remove the idea it is a Mad Max film tie-in title. Luckily I was able to lay hands on Mad Max at E3 so I can report back how it has progressed and if it will be worth our time in a few months here. Read More...

E3 2015 Impressions — Fallout 4
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Tuesday, 16th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
One of the big titles out of the BE3 press event was Fallout 4. Here's what I think about Fallout 4 and what was shown for the franchise Bethesda's first game conference was a huge success. I was enthralled from start to finish. All the games Bethesda showed off looked amazing and I can't wait to play them. Though for myself and many fans around the world the game we most looked forward to was Fallout 4. We can all collectively agree that we weren't disappointed. Read More...

Watch Bethesda Softworks' 2015 E3 Press Conference Right Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of June 2015 - 02:00 AM ]
Can't Be At E3 2015 Or The Bethesda Softworks Press Conference? We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Below It is that time. Time to kick off E3 with the first official press conference of the event for Bethesda Softworks and their game studios. They have already let the cat out of the bag on a few items to see like Fallout 4, DOOM, and the recently slipped Dishonored 2. That last one doesn't feel like it was something we weren't going to be seeing anytime soon from Bethesda but it apparently slipped out during rehearsals from this press conference. I am sure that we will also see something for BattleCry as well even though Bethesda hasn't said anything directly about it but as it was a big feature last year it only makes sense. Read More...

Death Rides Again With The Darksiders 2: The Deathinitive Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of June 2015 - 09:01 PM ]
It has been officially announced that Darksiders 2 is getting a PS4 and Xbox One release in the way of the Darksiders 2: The Deathinitive Edition A bit earlier in the year we heard rumors that Darksiders 2 was going to be getting the next gen upgrade after Nordic Games purchased the franchise during the fall of THQ. At least it was all rumor and conjecture given a few product pages that popped up on Amazon. Not all too much else was said about it and it all kind of fell to the side. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
During one of the E3 kickoff video streams from Sony San Diego Studios we had a nice look at Drawn To Death as well as a new character and level for Drawn To Death Last week we got our first really good look at one of the characters for Drawn To Death as we lead into all of the big news for E3. Last night (6/11) though during the Sony San Diego Studios stream of Drawn To Death, the team from Bartlet Jones showed off the build we are all going to get to play out there but also a new character and a new level for the game. Not only that but a few more details that have yet to be completely nailed down for Drawn To Death since its first showing during the PlayStation Experience.
