Assassin's Creed
The Jack The Ripper DLC for Assassin's Creed Syndicate is releasing next week and we have new gameplay to show off how it will change Assassin's Creed Syndicate for the fearful
We all knew that Jack was coming to Assassin's Creed Syndicate through DLC and he is upon us as it drops on December 15th for the PS4 and Xbox One with a slight delay before heading to the PC version of the game. With its release almost on us it is about time that Ubisoft shows off what we can expect in this bit of DLC for Assassin's Creed Syndicate. It is a $14.99 USD add on for the game so it better be something that we all hold and covet like the dead prostitutes Jack liked to murder. Right?
From a description on the EU PS Blog though it sounds like we are getting more than just a story set 20 years after the events of Assassin's Creed Syndicate though. If I read it correctly it looks like there will be a new gameplay mechanic in the way of fear for Jack the Ripper. It sounds a bit like what we had in Batman: Arkham Knight and should blend right into the world of Assassin's Creed Syndicate if it works out the way I can picture it. More so as we will be playing through this DLC as Evie and not Jacob. She is the stealthy creature to be feared in the night…
Have a look at the new trailer and be the judge on if it will be a "need to buy" for Assassin's Creed Syndicate. It is part of the Season Pass for those who already own that so in that case it will be to see if it worth your time to sink in as Ubisoft has in its design.
Assassin's Creed Syndicate — Jack The Ripper
His story is filled with blanks and rumors, which gave us the opportunity to create a fictional story around the infamous Whitechapel serial killer, inspired by what little is known about him. We are introducing a whole new gameplay system for Jack the Ripper. With the fear system, you will scare away your opponents or use friendly fire to your advantage.
Now that you've seen it in action a bit, what do you think of the Jack the Ripper DLC for Assassin's Creed Syndicate now? Does it look like it will be more of the same grind we are used to in the franchise's past or did Ubisoft craft a truly new experience mixed into the core of the game? Do you think the fear system will work as I think it will in Assassin's Creed Syndicate? Let us know and discuss away in the comments below. As more on Assassin's Creed and Assassin's Creed Syndicate are released we will update you here so be sure to stay locked into the site for more.
