Just as promised, we have the trailer for The Last Titan Standing. A short little 16 second trailer showing very little of what actually went on within the show. Who Is The Last Titan Standing?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of March 2010 - 07:45 PM ]
A few weeks ago Spike TV posed this question to God of War fans all over North America with a casting call for their show God of War: The Last Titan Standing. A show that was designed to place true God of War fans into the action of the game by recreating some challenges Kratos endured in his epic story. On top of the challenges, this enabled these lucky individuals to be amongst the first in the world - sans media and the developers - to actually play God of War III. A "real" test to show who is the world's largest God of War fan out of a selected 10 people. Read More...

Why Is Kratos Bringing Down The Gods In God Of War III?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of March 2010 - 08:06 PM ]
With only one week from today (3/9/10) until the launching of God of War III closing in quickly, that doesn't give a lot of time if you decide to play through the story of the previous games again, whether you are a veteran - such as myself - or are new to the franchise. That is, unless you're willing to grind through it all in a weekend like I most likely will.  Unfortunately, for those of you picking up the God of War Collection now for the first time, it will take you a bit longer than one short weekend to hammer through. Thankfully, Sony and Santa Monica Studios know this. Read More...

Top Heads of Infinity Ward Leave
by Michael Camacho [ Tuesday, 2nd of March 2010 - 11:07 PM ]
This morning many awoke to rumors quickly circulating the internet and news sites about prominent figures at Infinity Ward being fired by Activision, supposedly even with "bouncers" removing them from their offices. Patrick Klepek of G4's The Feed initially broke the possible story. The rumors began gaining credibility as Jason West's Linkedin page now stated he used to work for Infinity Ward and a Facebook status claimed unemployment. Activision finally confirmed the rumors late this afternoon/early evening. Jason West and Vince Zampella have both been let go from the developer. Read More...

God Of War III Could Not Look Better Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 27th of February 2010 - 03:19 AM ]
Just in case you missed the latest GT TV episode, let me give you a short highlight. It was filled with some of the most exquisite shots from God of War III and gameplay footage known to man currently. A true showing of how far the franchise has come and how powerful of a system that the PS3 truly can be. And we have all that proof for you below in four nice little clips from the show. Not only do they show off the scale, art, and true power of things, but they also have a few other exclusives mixed into the videos. Read More...

Big Daddy Got Wood!
by Binh Nguyen [ Friday, 26th of February 2010 - 10:34 PM ]
Ever been so obsessed with a game or character that you needed to draw them or have it everywhere? Myself, I have anime, Super Sentai stuff on my PC, PSP Go, toys (or in Mike's case, dolls), etc. Well this Japanese man takes things to a whole new level as he takes the time to carve out a nearly life size wooden statue of Big Daddy from BioShock. In this nearly ten minute video, you will see how much detail this Japanese Jason took to create Big Daddy. I could not imagine how long it probably took him to finish the project, but needless to say it is worth a watch. Read More...

Kratos Just Ripped One Over God Of War III Trophies
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of February 2010 - 03:40 AM ]
Here are the trophies in all of their God of War godly glory. Well at least half of them, as you can see from the list of 36 trophies below. So they are more the Public trophies of God of War III in the end. Which leads me to believe that like in the God of War Collection, you will get trophies for completing parts of the story and collecting required items for Kratos to enact his revenge. At least that can seem a safe assumption. One interesting thing about the list though is that they reused a few of the same names for similar trophies from before. Read More...
