This Week In Video Games 6/26/17 — 6/30/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of June 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another week done and one more week of video games in the bag and ready for us to move on to the next one. It is obvious that we are still all recovering from the madness that was E3 only a few weeks ago, but that didn't stop the flow of things at all. We had a lot of DLC and updates out there for Final Fantasy XV and Call Of Duty out there and the launch of a few other video games this week like Secret World Legends. That is also if we seem to have forgotten that Nintendo broke the minds of gamers out there by announcing the SNES Classic Edition to come to us all in only a few months from now. Read More...

Secret World Legends' Combat System Has Been Given A Bit Of An Overhaul
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Secret World Legends Many things are getting updated for Secret World Legends & one more mechanic for Secret World Legends that is getting the update is the combat If you were, or still are, a huge fan of The Secret World you may want to start forgetting how the combat in the game flows as when June 26th hits here and Secret World Legends launches it looks like there will be a new learning curve for you. Nothing too daunting here as I'm sure that Funcom doesn't want to upset players, but things will be changing. If the changes are for the better or the worse will have to full wait until Secret World Legends launches, but at least as of now we can have a look at just what changes will be coming down the pipeline. Secret World Legends Is Changing The Game & Coming This June
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Secret World The release date for Secret World Legends has been set and now we get to dive into seeing what Secret World Legends is changing from before Not too long ago we were all hit with Secret World Legends coming and was being a re-release of the PC MMO of a similar name. Maybe not a re-release as that has different connotations in today's age, but more Funcom wanted to bring us more of the game, continue the story, and also give us a fun free to play version of it all. Hey, for some this may be the first introduction into the Secret World so I guess it is a good thing for the re-release of sorts. None the less, we can all look to see it hitting the PC on June 26th now with all of the bells and whistles it has added and changed over the time it's been released. Read More...

Secret World Legends Is Bringing The Dark, Horror MMO Back To Us All
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Secret World The Secret World MMO is coming back strong as it has been revamped as Secret World Legends and bringing all the great stories for free this Spring Talk about a blast from the past as it looks like The Secret World (Remember this title?) is coming back with a vengeance. Not that it had really been out of circulation since Funcom first brought this MMO to our PCs about five years ago, it has been moving along just nicely since, but it never had the massive traction of other MMOs out there. None the less, it looks like there will be a second huge push for the game as it has been announced that Secret World Legends is on its way and bringing a whole lot with it. A whole lot and all for the low price of FREE. Read More...

Darksiders 2 & Other Nordic Games Titles May Be Going Next Gen
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of February 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
New listings on Amazon show a Darksiders 2 Definitive edition as well as a few other Nordic Games titles coming to the PS4 and Xbox One I'd start by saying that the Darksiders 2: Definitive Edition for the PS4 and Xbox One was a rumor except that as of this time Amazon Still has the page live for pre-order from Nordic Games. So pretty much we can expect to see Death gracing our next gen systems sometime this year after being remastered by Nordic Games. Some may scoff at the idea of another "remaster" title coming out instead of a brand new IP but Darksiders 2 was a title that I personally think everyone should play and very few did so on the PS3 and Xbox 360 so here is a chance to remedy that gamers. New rumors out there is a Legend Of Zelda live action show is being developed by Netflix from the Wall Street Journal It's only been seven years since we had that IGN April Fool's joke about there being a live action Legend Of Zelda film in the works so it is about time we get that all spinning up again right? Of course it is. Only this time it isn't April Fool's Day and this doesn't look like some elaborate hoax to generate web traffic to the IGN website. Read More...
