In 2006 Nintendo released the Wii which was the successor to the GameCube. The Wii had huge success in both China and North America. The Wii quickly outsold the PS3 and the XBox 360 at its low price point of $249.99 at launch. After 6 years Nintendo is planning to release their new console the Wii U sometime this year. Spider-Man&Venom: Maximum Carnage - "Carnage Rules" An epic opening to one of the best Spider Man games of all time Serious Sam: The First Encounter - "Fight 5" When this song pops during an epic fire fight in Serious Sam, your adrenaline surges through your veins as you enter "The Zone" Mirror's Edge - "Kate (Puzzle)" I loved Mirror's Edge and this song was so soothing and relaxing. I know what you are thinking, why is Activision trying to milk the franchise even more, especially since the last two attempts fizzled out and left a sour taste in a lot of gamers' mouths? It did for me too. So I was a bit sketchy on actually giving 007 Legends my time at E3. But I did and I'll be honest that what I saw should have been the way that the company should have gone in the first place by trying to capture the amazingness that was Golden Eye. So the demo started off with a quick overview of the first "mission" announced base on the film Moonraker. Alright it's time for the next installment to Trailer Park! First up we got a magnificent trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for the Wii, showing off some beautiful landscapes and scenery featured in game, as well as some game play and story elements all to a gorgeous orchestral number. Now I sadly will not be getting Skyward Sword, as much as I would like to simply because I don't have a Wii and I really don't plan on ever getting one. League of Legends fans rejoice! With season one drawing closer, Riot Games has given us a little cinematic action to tide us over until the soon-to-be epic competition begins. Not only that, but if this video on YouTube gets over 1,000,000 views before the July 21st, European and US players will get a Double IP Weekend. “The Season One features and updates will greatly enhance League of Legends and help us towards our goal of having LOL being played by the world's top gamers in the biggest and best gaming leagues and tournaments,” said Marc Merrill, co-founder and President of Riot Games. It started with a rush of excitement from the crowd in the Nokia Theatre on Tuesday morning and proceeded throughout E3. A brand-new Legend of Zelda was coming to the Nintendo Wii. Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is the Wii Motion Plus-based adventure fans have been clamoring for since the little white box’s inception. Not much of the story has been released for Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, but judging by the reaction at the Nintendo Press Conference and how long people were willing to wait in line to experience the brief demo at E3, that is not a concern…yet. Well this news came sooner than I could ever realized. According to G4tv.com, Legendary Pictures just picked up the rights to make a feature film based on Mass Effect. As we speak they are in discussions with the screen writers from I Am Legend and Thor to produce the screenplay. Now you may be wondering who will be producing the film? You will be happy to know that BioWare's co-founder and VP, Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk, along with Mass Effect executive producer, Casey Hudson, will serve as executive producers for the film. A new collectors edition as been announced by Bungie for Halo: Reach, which will be available in standard, Limited and Legendary editions when the game launches this fall. Both the Limited edition and the Legendary edition will have content that is based on the fiction of Halo: Reach and the Halo universe. Though Spirit Tracks is far from innovative, it boasts enough improvement in gameplay and graphics over Legend of Zelda’s previous release on the Nintendo DS, Phantom Hourglass, to insure its success.  Not every game has to be groundbreaking to entertain its audience.  Spirit Tracks takes fans of the Zelda franchise into another quest to save Hyrule – this time with Zelda’s spirit accompanying and assisting Link along the way.The story, including why you need to visit the Tower of Spirits, is not particularly innovative, but it has a certain amount of charm. Well it looks like Electronic Arts and Double Fine studios are just pumping out the DLC for all their games by the end of the year.  Double Fine Studios just announced Brütal Legend™ Hammer of Infinite Fate which gives players a slew of new swag to add into their gaming experience.First off, Eddie Riggs is getting some new looks.  Eddie is gonna rock some new outfits for all you metal heads out there that need a new edge as well as some fixes and patches.  Eddie isn't the only thing getting some new looks though, the Deuce will also sport four new paint jobs to choose from and four new epic upgrades. Last week, Nintendo announced that "for the first time" Link and Zelda will team up to save Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. When I first came across this bit of news, I honestly didn't think much of it. Don't get me wrong -- I'm looking forward to the next adventure with Link on the DS -- but after playing it at E3, I have had modest expectations on new gameplay. The more I thought about this new bit of news, the more excited I got.
