The release date for Secret World Legends has been set and now we get to dive into seeing what Secret World Legends is changing from before
Not too long ago we were all hit with Secret World Legends coming and was being a re-release of the PC MMO of a similar name. Maybe not a re-release as that has different connotations in today's age, but more Funcom wanted to bring us more of the game, continue the story, and also give us a fun free to play version of it all. Hey, for some this may be the first introduction into the Secret World so I guess it is a good thing for the re-release of sorts. None the less, we can all look to see it hitting the PC on June 26th now with all of the bells and whistles it has added and changed over the time it's been released.
To show off some of the changes coming to Secret World Legends, as it seems to be the new fad, we have a "what is?" or "everything you need to know" video here to explain it all. Especially since it is making the shift from being an MMO in a twisted version of our reality into a shared-world RPG experience in the same world. The details on that always seem fuzzy to me, but it looks like we have years of content for Secret World Legends that the team couldn't get to be for and are no bringing to us in this version of the game. I only wish I would have been able to stick with it before to get what they are trying to say here, but I guess that will all be part of the fun this June.

Secret World Legends — What is Secret World Legends?
Secret World Legends features a revamped combat system, newly designed progression system, updated visuals, and more. You can choose to explore and uncover the story by yourself, or you can team up with other players. In the game’s central hub, Agartha, you can meet and socialize with hundreds of other players, while player population in the adventure areas beyond will be tightly controlled to make sure that the experience is as immersive as possible and that the focus remains on you and your journey.
Secret World Legends plunges players into a shadowy war against the supernatural in an adventure that crosses our world with the realms of ancient myth and legend. As players traverse the globe unraveling complex investigations into the unknown, they’ll need to uncover clues and use their own wits as much as their characters’ abilities. A highly extensive and customizable arsenal of firearms, weapons, gear and otherworldly powers will give players the strength to battle the forces of darkness as they dig deeper into these vast and mysterious lands. Players can go at it alone and enjoy the over 100 hours of story at their own pace, or team up with others as they explore the world and unravel its mysteries.
