Talk about an oops moment. Looks like Disney let slip, and then quickly removed, an announcement for Epic Mickey 2 in a recent newsletter sent out. While this isn't the first "rumor" that there was a sequel in the works, this is definitely more proof that the title is in the works for all of you out there who enjoyed Epic Mickey. A couple new trailers for Eat Sleep Play's Twisted Metal have been released, one featuring my favorite character, Mr. Grimm and the other featuring Dollface. The trailers showcase a little bit of each characters back story, a hefty dose of heavy metal and some sweet, sweet game play. I grew up playing the original Twisted Metal games, so seeing one of my favorite childhood franchises come back guns blazing in a hail of fire and bullets makes me crack a smile across my face, ear to ear. The first trailer is Mr. Grimm, who is a different person from the last installment (Twisted Metal: Black) but is just as cool, showing us some of his signature weapons like the "Flame Saw" which is an exploding chainsaw that has been grinding on the concrete for a few hundred feet. Well, it's that time of year again. Leaves are falling. It's getting colder. And like clockwork, a new Call Of Duty has hit the streets. Not that I should really have to say it, but that would be Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for those who didn't see the title or clicked in at random. Alright it's time for the next installment to Trailer Park! First up we got a magnificent trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for the Wii, showing off some beautiful landscapes and scenery featured in game, as well as some game play and story elements all to a gorgeous orchestral number. As if we all didn't expect this, Ubisoft is doing yet another Tom Clancy title. This one has the moniker Rainbow 6 Patriots. From the bit that has been gleaned from the announcement and game's site it looks like a well trained and organized revolutionary group has come to the conclusion that (*Gasp*) the American government is corrupt. Just in the nick of time, Spider-Man is back in another game for us to take on the many comic book villains who plague New York in Spider-Man: Edge Of Time. While not a direct sequel to last year's Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, it does have at least two of the dimensions represented and makes reference to the "Other Guys" from the game. What started out as an April fool's joke has just turned into something far more serious. That's right folks; Mists of Pandaria is the new expansion to World of Warcraft. Blizzard said that they would be turning out expansions for World of Warcraft a lot sooner than they did in the past. Before there was an expansion about once every two years. But Cataclysm has only been out for about twelve months, so I guess Blizzard held up their promises. I am both a fan of X-men and comic books in general. I have many fond memories of playing the four-player, beat-em up style Konami arcade game back in the 80's and I have spent more than a few hours playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 with my buddies. Silicon Knights' newest title, X-Men: Destiny, should have been a no-brainer - backed by such a great concept as it boasted being the next great brawling action game where you could create the mutant you always believed should be in this universe. Unfortunately due to its execution, the game becomes really diluted, which knocks it down a few notches on the likeability scale.
