I am still taken back by the cancellation of the World Of Darkness MMO from last month. I love playing the table top and LARP versions of the game system and was feverishly looking forward to the MMO coming out and no longer requiring to have to hound a bunch of friends together to play in the world. It has been taken away from us now and there is nothing to do about but hope that someday the World Of Darkness MMO might be revisited. Until then, here is a load of 'leaked' information and images to show why the cancellation was required.
These new details come from a Reddit source that seems to have been in the alpha stage of testing. Have a look here and tell me if you think it was worth being dropped like it has been.

For being in the alpha stage the World Of Darkness MMO looked like it was shaping up nicely. Some of the mechanics and some of the limitations from the source material I would question a bit as I can see how things could have been better worked but it looked to be well along the way to be a great MMO. After seeing all of this I am damn sure that this all boiled down to the all mighty dollar and CCP just didn't think that the World Of Darkness MMO could bring in the same cash as EVE.
Here's to hoping that all of this will not just lost in the world of 1's and 0's and maybe down the line the World Of Darkness MMO will be picked back up. Or am I the only one out here tooting a horn for a small franchise that would cost a lot to produce? The decision is making a little more sense there…
