I am sure by now you have seen the Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare announcement trailer. If you were like me then you most likely may have been wondering how the visuals didn't seem to coincide with the teased in-game screen shots. After seeing the following screen shots I think I will place most of the blame on the limitations of YouTube instead of what we will actually be getting on our PCs and next-gen consoles.
This is what I am talking about that has impressed with Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
Now that is what I am talking about. Absolutely stunning and what should be expected from Sledgehammer and their three year development cycle for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare here. Obviously that means that they all knew about the Xbox One and PS4 two years prior to their launches and have been working on optimizing since. At least if my math stays correct over the time.
Development aside for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare the other new details that have cropped up when the announcement was originally planned are thus.
It looks like the game's story and timeline will take place in the year 2054. Some huge attack on the world's military infrastructure has occurred and a private military corporation has emerged to attempt to save everything in the way of killing everything. You know, because that is was PMCs do.
We will personally be taking on the role of an advanced soldier, or soldiers depending on how the Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare story plays out, where there is a focus on all kinds of crazy advanced gear as well as an exoskeleton with cutting-edge abilities. It seems like this will also bring upon a whole slew of new and different gameplay mechanics to the Call Of Duty franchise but there are no specifics as of yet. It just seems that all the releases are focusing on that point to date.
That about wraps up all of the new details for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare for now. I am sure now that the official date has passed we will be getting a lot more as we approach November 4th so check back as we try to keep everything up to date as we can.
