Have Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark Explained By Optimus Prime
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of June 2014 - 09:01 PM ]
Peter Cullen, the voice of Optimus Prime, takes to the web to explain the story of Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark If you are still wondering what the story of Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark is all about then I would recommend turning to Peter Cullen for the answer below. In case you don't know and didn't bother reading anything above this he would be the voice actor we have grown to love as Optimus Prime. Yep, the Prime man himself is here to give us the rundown on what is going on in Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark as well as how it ties into the rest of the franchise; including the films. If you are worried about spoilers or anything then obviously you want to pass on by this video as it does detail the main story arc of Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark. Read More...

New Trailer For Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of May 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark has hit the web showing off quite a bit of fun gameplay. Do you know how close we are to the launch of Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark? About a month away now and the game was only officially announced back in February. I am sure that Edge Of Reality, the new studio working on the franchise, has been working long and hard before that but it is still crazy to think that the game is coming out on June 24th already and there is still so little to know about Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark outside of it taking place in the same War For Cybertron setting. I just hope that Activision hasn't turned the somewhat decent franchise into a full on movie tie-in kind of thing. Let's watch the new trailer for Transformers: Rise Of The Dark Spark and see. Transformers Universe Has Transformed Its Genre A Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of February 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
It looks like Transformers Universe has become a MOTA instead of a MMO. Here is a trailer to show you how the game is looking now. It doesn't feel like that long ago that I heard about Transformers Universe and it was a browser-based MMO title in the works. Now it looks like, as the franchise namesake, Transformers Universe has transformed into a MOTA, or Massively Online Tactical Action game if you will. Or from the trailer, it looks like the multiplayer from the Activision published titles in the recent years all amped up and being the only gameplay. I won't lie, but a Transformers based MMO most likely would have played that same as how Transformers Universe now looks. Read More...

Review: Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of September 2012 - 04:05 PM ]
Here we go with another Transformers game. They are seriously coming out like Call Of Duty titles now. One every year and hey why not, obviously we like them enough to line the pockets of the developer's and publisher's pockets with greenbacks. So how does Transformers: Fall of Cybertron fair? Let's see. Story The Autobots are serious in trying to leave Cybertron this time around and are getting there Ark ready to go. Wouldn't you know it that those damned Decepticons want to stop them and do a great job at it. Read More...

Review: Transformers: Dark Of The Moon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of July 2011 - 11:07 PM ]
As I am sure you undoubtedly know, the new Transformers film is in theaters. This also means that the new game based on the film, Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, has hit shelves to try and draw more money out of our pockets due to nostalgia. Yep, here is yet another film based game. Another chance for a game company to rush something out just to catch a few extra bucks from the hype. Let's see how this fairs against all of the other film based shit games out there. The Story After the events of the last film, the Autobots have taken it upon themselves to help the human race by performing secret missions to keep the peace of the world. Read More...

Dark Of The Moon Shows How Bumblebee Stings
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of May 2011 - 10:42 PM ]
Unlike Mass Effect 3, Transformers: Dark Of The Moon is still on track for its June release. I mean it better be as Activision is trying to get it out in the same window as the upcoming film as well. A delay now would be retardababy. Or at least give us the promise that is not just a film tie-in and a real follow up to War For Cybertron. Well with the being on track and all, there are a few more screen shots from the game to take a look at. You can see them below. Read More...

Transformers Milking The Dark Of The Moon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of February 2011 - 04:47 PM ]
I was hoping that we were all beyond this with the epic tea bagging Devastator gave us in the last Transformers film. But I guess Transformers: War For Cybertron did well enough for Activision to look into doing another Transformers game. With that let me present you Transformers: Dark Of The Moon. The next in the line of new Transformers games and a tie-in with the new film from look and sound of it. Why they have switched gears from the new games they have created to the tie-in I have no clue. Well outside of wanting to milk the consumer for more money because of the film. Read More...

Review: Transformers: War for Cybertron
by Binh Nguyen [ Tuesday, 6th of July 2010 - 08:18 PM ]
When Activision first announced that High Moon Studios would be making a Transformers game, I was a bit skeptical. That is, until I saw the trailer and screen shots of the game. Granted it is not the Transformers we all, or at least most of us, know and love. And no, I do not mean the recent live-action Transformers movie. I am talking about the 80's cartoon series, including the full length movie where I first cried over the fact that Optimus Prime died in the epic battle with Megatron*. Unlike the most recent movie-based Transformers game, High Moon Studio took everything we love about Transformers and created a 3rd person shooter with a great story. Read More...
