DOOM Eternal Will Let You Customize Your Slayer In Some Fun Ways
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of March 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
DOOM A new look at how DOOM Eternal will allow us to customize our DOOM Slayer in various ways with some awesome and some funny as Hell If you wanted it or not, DOOM Eternal is going to let us all alter the look of our slayer in the game through various means. Kind of an odd thing to think about for a first-person shooter where all we normally see in the hands, but it is something that id Software is adding in for us to unlock and have fun with. I mean, there is going to be a photo mode in DOOM Eternal, so that will allow us in single-player to see more of our alterations. Although, I am certain that this feature is going to be something that gets more highlights in the Battlemode where you will be able to see each other's slayers out there. Read More...

Resident Evil 3 Looks Vastly Improved Over The 1999 Version
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of March 2020 - 10:00 PM ]
Resident Evil A new comparison for Resident Evil 3 is here to give a better feel for how Resident Evil 3 has changed over the last twenty years Earlier in the week, we had a good look at some actual gameplay from the upcoming Resident Evil 3. April 3rd cannot get here fast enough for me on this one. That is why I am glad to see that we have a bit more gameplay to take in and enjoy from Capcom. More so when we get to see how the new version of the game will compare to the original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis from over twenty years ago. Read More...

DOOM Eternal Is Giving Us One Heavy Soundtrack
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of March 2020 - 08:00 PM ]
DOOM A new behind the scenes video for DOOM Eternal offers up a fun look at how some of the soundtrack and audio for DOOM Eternal was created To date, we have seen some fairly heavy and visceral visuals for DOOM Eternal with some heavy music going on in the background. What some of us may not have caught on to is that id Software is using one of those usually overlooked aspects of games to a much better degree. I am talking about the music and audio for the game in terms of much more than the gunshots and demonic grunts that DOOM has always been known for. Now we have a good look at how the teams have captured some of this audio we will be hearing out of our PS4, Switch, Xbox One, or PC on March 23rd here. Read More...

Take A Stroll Around Raccoon City In New Gameplay For Resident Evil 3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of March 2020 - 10:00 PM ]
Resident Evil A new Resident Evil 3 gameplay stream has taken place to give us all a better look at how some of the basic Resident Evil 3 gameplay will flow The teasing of gameplay for Resident Evil 3 is mostly over, as we had the chance to actually see some of the game in motion here today. Well, almost anyone out there that had a chance to check in on the stream that Capcom held today had the same chance. That does not mean that we are not going to take a look at it all again and show it off to more of the Resident Evil fans out there that may have missed it. More so as they took great care to not show off anything that would truly spoil the game before it launches on April 3rd for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Outriders Offers Up A New Look At The Lands Of Enoch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of March 2020 - 08:00 PM ]
Outriders A new look at Outriders is here with a new look at some of the environments of Outriders running in-engine Sometimes it is nice to get a big showing for games and sometimes it is nice to get smaller things as we have for Outriders today. Not that what we have is on the shorter side of it all, but it focuses more on the environments that People Can Fly are building for us to run around in while playing the game. Something that I am sure has a lot of you thinking about moving on from right now instead of powering on through. I mean, given that Outriders is going to be another of those titles that will usher in the PS5 and Xbox Series X, it is nice to see just where things may be heading in the visuals. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week What a week this has been for all of those announcements for our video games and their DLCs. We have not even been able to dive into PAX East fully as of yet, so there is bound to be a whole lot more to come here soon. Maybe more for Cyberpunk 2077 and Resident Evil in some form? That could be the hope to keep up with other video games like Baldur’s Gate 3 and Predator: Hunting Grounds, which also had a nice outing this week in terms of fun new information. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of February 2020 - 08:00 PM ]
Resident Evil New gameplay for Resident Evil Resistance is here to show off the latest levels announced with a bit of gameplay from a massive Resident Evil mastermind We had word on the most recent levels and masterminds to join the ranks of Resident Evil Resistance not too long ago with the Casino and Amusement Park settings added in. Something I never really remember going through in the past titles, but I guess Capcom is making Raccoon City just a bit bigger here. Back on topic, what we have here now is a look at a bit more of the gameplay in Resident Evil Resistance in those levels. Read More...

While still not anything officially from id Software, we have a look at how these Master Levels in the game will function and play out in there. Othercide A new tactical RPG, Othercide, is revealed here with some new gameplay mechanics for the genre and a short wait for Othercide to launch PAX East has not even fully kicked off yet, but that does not mean we will not get to see some of the reveals that will be coming just as we have for Othercide here. Swim About With More Of The Story In Maneater
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of February 2020 - 08:00 PM ]
Maneater We have more gameplay for Maneater that shows off not only how the game will flow but also a bit of the story in Maneater to enjoy Get ready to dive right into a lot more for Maneater, as we have a nice and long look at more of the game's story that we will get to experience. Given how it all flows here, it is easy to assume this is from the opening of the game with all of the tutorial-like missions and such. It could also be just a slice of what Tripwire Interactive has up their sleeve in terms of how we will progress from "level" to "level" in the game. Even with the progression system of Maneater laid out from before, it would be interesting to see if each of the different hunters are working toward a different iteration of the shark each time now. Outriders Outriders’ gameplay is here to take in and we also get a bit more of the actual details going on in Outriders to get hyped about It was teased and talked about earlier in the week, but here we are with one major content and detail dump for Outriders here. Not only that, but we finally had a chance to see some of the gameplay for the game during a recent live stream event that People Can Fly put on. It is a bit choppy and hard to truly follow along with, but it did give us some actual gameplay and showing of the various characters and abilities we will get to play with in Outriders. Even if we have to wait a bit longer to get that true release date other than Holiday 2020 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. Read More...
