This Week In Video Games 11/16/20 — 11/20/20
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 21st of November 2020 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week By the gods, this was a busy week for us here even if the news felt a little light for all of those video games out there. We did kind of have a focus on Cyberpunk 2077 while being reminded we should have been playing the game right now. Thankfully, we had many other video games to play, and thus review, on the site by the way of Ghostrunner, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Some heavy hitters out there with so many more to come in the following weeks. Read More...

Review — Spider-Man: Miles Morales
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of November 2020 - 10:00 PM ]
Spider-Man We sit down and review Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The next big story in the Spider-Verse lore. Here is our review of Spider-Man: Miles Morales There is no doubt that Spider-Man: Miles Morales was on everyone's list for this year as it helps to bridge the jump from PS4 to PS5 as well as give us part of the story many wanted after the big game from before. While not a sequel from Insomniac Games, it is an expansion that can be played on its own but you really do get the benefits of playing the last Spider-Man title too. That all said, it is time for us to dig into how this game does in the grand scheme of things and if it is worth paying the price now or waiting down the line until you too can get it on the PS5. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 14th of November 2020 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was the week so many gamers out there were waiting for and not just for the video games to hit. This was the PS5 and Xbox Series X launch week, which also did bring us a whole lot of video games too. We no longer have to watch videos for Spider-Man: Miles Morales or Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and can play them if we so choose. It will give us something as we wait for Immortals Fenyx Rising and House Of Ashes to wrap up development and get out there to us. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 11/2/20 — 11/6/20
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 7th of November 2020 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This has been one hells of a week and I am not talking just in the realm of video games. We will not dive into the other stuff out there as we are a nice distraction from all of that, but that is not to say it did not take its toll. Thankfully, we saw a whole lot more for the upcoming DLC for Mortal Kombat 11 and the upcoming Spider-Man: Miles Morales to raise some spirits out there. There is also the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to look forward to now that we have had some time with Watch Dogs: Legion. Read More...

Spider-Man: Miles Morales Will Be taking Us Back Into The Spider-Verse
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of November 2020 - 10:00 PM ]
Miles Morales The next costume for Spider-Man: Miles Morales is highlighted here with Miles Morales donning the Spider-Verse suit again It was inevitable given the success of the film, but it looks like we will be seeing the Into The Spider-Verse suit in the mix for Spider-Man: Miles Morales. I think it would have been the biggest misstep for Insomniac Games and Sony to not add this one in there and it looks like they agree. hence why we are back here talking about other costumes that Miles Morales will be wear on November 12th when the game hits the PS4 and PS5. That is just over a week out and it is crazy to think how that time snuck up on us all here. Read More...

Peter Offers Up Some Words Of Encouragement For Spider-Man: Miles Morales
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of October 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Spider-Man A new teaser for Spider-Man: Miles Morales gives us a look at how Spider-Man will talk to each other to lift up Well, we do not have anything huge for Spider-Man: Miles Morales to look at here today, but there is more to offer up and hopefully experience for it all. Not much in the way of gameplay or any real details, but a nice little look at how things are going between Peter and Miles in the game's universe. Even if it is more hype and less of seeing Spider-Man do what a spider can. Maybe even more on the side of just reminding us all that the game is still coming on November 12th for the PS5 and PS4. Spider-Man: Miles Morales Takes On His First Boss Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of October 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Miles Morales The first boss fight for Spider-Man: Miles Morales is shown off with Miles Morales taking on a villain we barely saw before now It should be easy to assume we would see some of the past villains making their way back into Spider-Man: Miles Morales when it hits the PS4 and PS5 next month. Both titles from Insomniac Games are linked and carry the same story so it would be weird if none of that actually happened. That is why it is not too shocking to see the first villain we will be facing in Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be one that was taken care of rather quickly in the previous title. Read More...

Spider-Man: Miles Morales Is Swinging In With Some New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of September 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Spider-Man New gameplay for Spider-Man: Miles Morales is here along with some other interesting tidbits for this Spider-Man outing As was to be expected during the big PS5 reveal, we have a whole lot of new gameplay for Spider-Man: Miles Morales before it lands on November 12th with the new console. That is not to say that it was not spectacular to look at, but just as we expected over here from Insomniac Games which did not disappoint. Before we dig into that, though, it looks like there is a bit more to all of this too as Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be available on the PS4 as well and there will be an Ultimate Launch edition of the game that will house the last title in the line all upgraded for the new console and with all the DLC mixed in. Spider-Man: Miles Morales Has A Few More Details Out There To Absorb
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of June 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Spider-Man New details for Spider-Man: Miles Morales are out there now to show how this will further expand the Spider-Man universe the video games have been building We had a nice teaser for Spider-Man: Miles Morales last week to get us all talking and excited for another game out there. Talking we did, as there were so many questions and ideas thrown around out there that Insomniac Games finally had to step out and give us a different update to put us all on the proper track for the game. The big one still being that this will be a standalone title that links into the PS4 Spider-Man games. Just on the PS5 here. Read More...

Spider-Man: Miles Morales Is Swinging Onto PS5 This Holiday Season
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of June 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Spider-Man The next big Spider-Man story for the video game universe is now set down with the announcement of Spider-Man: Miles Morales for the PS5 It felt like it was almost a given that we were going to see this on the PS5, but it is official that Spider-Man: Miles Morales is on its way to the console around the same time as launch. Well, that and it is officially announced from Insomniac Games to be another expansion for the PS4 title in the same universe. So, do not think we have a sequel on our hands but more of an expansion to it all with the focus on the Miles Morales Spider-Man and not the core one we knew from that game. Read More...
