This Week In Video Games 6/24/24 — 6/28/24
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of June 2024 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just when we thought things might have slowed down after all of the video games announced and updated recently, we had another full week. A little on the slower side, but still a full one. I have a feeling that is to further build up to SDCC in the coming month along with making sure Terminator: Survivors and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 are getting the correct highlight as they deserve. All while giving us more for Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed and our review of Capes to be able to join the mix of the video games out there too. Read More...

A New Reveal Is Here To Allow Us All To Join The Midnight Murder Club
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of June 2024 - 05:00 PM ]
Midnight Murder Club A new hide-n-seek game, Midnight Murder Club, has been revealed with Midnight Murder Club offering up a darker twist to this children’s game When you hear of a title like Midnight Murder Club, I am going to guess that your mind does not jump right into a hide-n-seek kind of game, but that is what we have coming at us here. This would be a new title from Velan Studios that is taking the fun of that children's game and giving it a dark twist. Not only in the fact that Midnight Murder Club will be more like hide-n-seek in the dark with flashlights, but we will also be shooting those we find in this weird six-player multiplayer game. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That is a wrap on this week and the various video games we had to cover in the mix. There were still so many we were not able to get to with the flood of announcements still coming out, but we did what we could. We had a lot for Funko Fusion, more for Zoochosis, and then the little things for Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater and Assassin’s Creed Shadows too. We also had a chance to slip in one of those reviews for one of the latest video games out there with V Rising. Read More...

Be The One-Man-Army In New Gameplay For Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of June 2024 - 09:00 PM ]
Metal Gear Solid New gameplay for Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater is here to tease us with how we will be once again unstoppable in Metal Gear Solid It was not all that sneaky for a game like Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater to drop some new gameplay on us here recently during the massive information drops we have had. Konami, more or less, indicated that we were going to be getting something during all of them to further build up the hype. Which is fun, as we now have a whole lot of new gameplay to look at and see how this Metal Gear Solid 3 remake is going to flow out there. Read More...

Things Are Getting Rolling With The Announcement For Metroid Prime 4: Beyond
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of June 2024 - 07:00 PM ]
Metroid It is time to lose your mind Metroid fans with the recent announcement we have for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond coming in 2025 If there was any worry that Samus Aran was not going to be back at all, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is now announced and heading out there for the Nintendo Switch in 2025. Okay, that is still a good bit to have to wait to get the next title out there, but that just means you can spend more time with the other titles that Retro Studios has out there for the Metroid Prime line already. That and watch a bit of the new gameplay that we were able to get our hands on for the game. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just as we assumed, this was a crazy-filled week for video games after all of the massive events that took place over the weekend. Massive events that really did not do much more than to sell us on some titles and not really show them off. Thankfully, we were able to dig up some good gameplay for Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin’s Creed Shadows in the mix. Also, a bit more for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 and a great look at DOOM: The Dark Ages too. Read More...

Blood Bowl A new faction is coming to Blood Bowl 3 with the undead also carting along some cross-play for Blood Bowl fans The next faction is hitting the pitch for Blood Bowl 3 with the reveal of the Necromantic Horror team. A team that I am sure that is a bit on the self-explanatory side of things, but we have a good update from Cyanide on it. On June 11th, Blood Bowl 3 will be flooded with ghouls, zombies, and all kinds of ghosts to give all of the nightmares a run for their money in the game. Along with all of that, though, there are some other fun updates coming to the game when this new faction drops on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Read More...

Amanda The Adventurer Will Be Bringing Us More Horror On The Consoles Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of May 2024 - 09:00 PM ]
Amanda The Adventurer New versions of Amanda The Adventurer are on the way to bring Amanda The Adventurer to the consoles and mobile devices this year The horrors of Amanda The Adventurer are leaping from the PC out there to the consoles and mobile devices now. Well, not as of now as is usually the case when we say that, but MANGLEDmaw Games and DreadXP are working on a version of the game that will hit the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Android, and iOS platforms this year. A massive spread for Amanda The Adventurer to finally be able to hit after such a long time. We are not going to complain at all, as it does allow for many more to experience this horror title even if it does feel like some of the game's aspects might be harder to replicate on the consoles than on the PC.
