This Week In Video Games 12/15/25 — 12/19/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 20th of December 2025 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just as we were expecting, this was certainly a full week of video games. Some of it is catching up from all of the big announcements we did have, while also offering up some other games that were left out of The Game Awards, as they would not drive money to the show. Titles like Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival and Painkiller, even if others like Divinity and WARLOCK hit on the harsher themes and mature content in the same ways. It is kind of why you still need some of the mavericks like us out there covering the various video games that are not going to be big news for the "mainstream. Read More...

Stupid Never Dies Announces A New Way To Look At The Undead Out There
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of December 2025 - 10:00 PM ]
Stupid Never Dies A new bizarre game, Stupid Never Dies, has been announced and Stupid Never Dies looks to offer up something new for us all It was stated during The Game Awards that GPTRACK50 was setting out to give us all a world and game that we have never seen before, and here we are with Stupid Never Dies. While the title is a bit on point with how many feel about the world, try not to take it at face value, as I am sure you will be wrong. Especially since this is a third-person melee title aiming to hit the PS5 and PC in the future, where we play as a timid zombie at the bottom rung of monster society. Read More...

Tomb Raider: Catalyst Continues The Legends Forward Into The Future
by Juliet Meyer [ Tuesday, 16th of December 2025 - 06:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider The next full Tomb Raider is finally announced, with Tomb Raider: Catalyst taking Lara into a bold new direction There was certainly one title that The Game Awards kept teasing us all with, and it turns out it was Tomb Raider: Catalyst. A new addition to the IP with Crystal Dynamics back at it to see if they can bring the goods as we have seen them do in the past. At least in terms of this IP. They have until 2027 to do so, as that is the current window for Tomb Raider: Catalyst to launch on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/8/25 — 12/12/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 13th of December 2025 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week has finally dragged itself over the finish line here, and we did end with a rather solid bit for all of our video games. The Game Awards usually does that since the powers that be helped to kill any of the usual conferences we used to have for their own glorification. Ignoring that, we did have a big update for Resident Evil Requiem, She’s Leaving, and Invincible VS out there. Along with many other video games that were not as big as the others, but still worth the time and effort from all of us. Read More...

Resident Evil A blast from the Resident Evil of the past will be out there in the action of the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem When it comes to keeping secrets, it feels as if Capcom just cannot keep things under wraps, as The Game Awards confirmed the rumor that Leon was going to be in Resident Evil Requiem. Not just in the game when it launches on February 27th for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC, but he will be one of the main characters we will need to play in the game. Yes, Resident Evil Requiem will have the dual protagonist system that we have seen in a few of the games from the past. Read More...

Mira Is Playing Us All Out With The Latest For Liminal Point
by Jana Lass [ Monday, 8th of December 2025 - 06:00 PM ]
Liminal Point A new bit of gameplay for Liminal Point is out there, and this one further highlights Mira as we go searching for her in Liminal Point It's time to enter more of the darkness out there, with something new to look at for Liminal Point. We've seen some of the gameplay and horrors that HideWorks will be placing in the game when it launches on PC down the line, so now it is time to dig a bit further into the story. Along with some new gameplay and monsters that Liminal Point will have for us. This is a story all about how we are trying to find our missing bandmate, Mira, so it's fitting that we are finally getting a little more into that. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/1/25 — 12/5/25
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 6th of December 2025 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is over, and we had just as many fun new things in the world of video games as we always have. A little more on the indie side again, but I am sure that is due to some of the bigger announcements being held for the upcoming Game Awards. Although that does not mean we should not be paying attention to such video games like Postal: Bullet Paradise, High On Life 2, or MARVEL Cosmic Invasion. In addition to all of the other AAA titles that had something to bring us while we were not watching the Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 movie. Read More...

Quite A Ride Has A New Update To Pump Our Brakes Over
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of December 2025 - 08:00 PM ]
Quite A Ride A new look at Quite A Ride is out there, along with an announcement that Quite A Ride has a new publisher bringing it to market Start pedaling a bit faster out there, as the horrors of Quite A Ride are getting closer to getting us. At least when the game is ready to ride on out there on the PC. Something that I know Goodwin Games is working hard on, so we have this weird biking experience where we are locked into a biking mode of transportation. I say all of this, as it looks as if they were able to also land Silver Lining Interactive to help get Quite A Ride over the finish line out there. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 29th of November 2025 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. by Jana Lass [ Wednesday, 26th of November 2025 - 08:00 PM ]
Side Effects The launch of Side Effects is here and ready for us all to face each other at the table to survive the various Side Effects It is time to start taking all of those crazy pills out there with the launch of Side Effects. A fitting launch with how the seasons are going here, and the holiday that is about to hit part of the world. I'd like to think that was part of the plan from Free Lives, but I know it is just a solid timeline to get the game on the PC before the end of the year. Something that the team has now done, with Side Effects out there and ready for us to try to outlive each other. Read More...

There Are No Ghosts At The Grand Invites Us All In For A Little Sample
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of November 2025 - 06:00 PM ]
No Ghosts At The Grand A demo for There Are No Ghosts At The Grand is now out there so we can all figure out why There Are No Ghosts At The Grand Things are getting a little spookier out there, as we now have a demo for the PC version of There Are No Ghosts At The Grand in the wild. This would be that musical, Lovecraftian, renovation sim title that Friday Sundae announced a little while ago for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S as well. It seems that the game was much further along in the development than we all had though, with the demo giving some of the fans of what they saw a chance to experience it now. So, you can add There Are No Ghosts At The Grand to the list of great distractions to keep you away from your family over the week here, as well as seeing how this title is going to shape up. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 22nd of November 2025 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Let us wrap up this week of video games and news out there. Not that we truly have a choice in it all, as the week is coming to an end and the news is going to dry up a bit. Even if we did get some solid things like season three for Twisted Metal on the way, so racy gameplay for Hellraiser: Revival, and some looks at 007 First Light and Jurassic Park: Survival in the mix. Along with some smaller video games getting the highlight and release out there in the wild. Read More...

Side Effects Will Be Coming To The Surface This Month
by Jana Lass [ Tuesday, 11th of November 2025 - 08:00 PM ]
Side Effects The release date for the game called Side Effects is set, with these new Side Effects on the way in the coming weeks With the way that the world is always changing when it comes to the medical practices, at least in the U.S., it feels about right that we would have a game to poke at all of that with Side Effects. A new title that Free Lives is helping to bring to market, which PC gamers will be able to play with very soon. As long as you are in the market for a “Buckshot Roulette”-like medical horror game with some very interesting visuals to help sell it all. Read More...
