This Week In Video Games 6/22/26 — 6/26/26
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of June 2026 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go, wrapping up one more week and covering so many video games and pop culture things going on out there in the world. Some are to get us all ready for SDCC 2026, and others are to build into EVO 2026, which is going on as you are reading all of this. Not too shabby after cleaning up all of the titles we missed, like Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls and The Walking Dead: Streets Of Survival from before. That is in addition to getting further updates for video games like SAW: Genesis and Invincible VS as well. Read More...

SAW: Genesis Gets Us Ready To Play The Games With Its Features
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of June 2026 - 05:00 PM ]
SAW Dive into the gameplay features for SAW: Genesis to see how this all might build further into the SAW IP The announcement for SAW: Genesis left many of us scratching our heads with the premise and story. That is to say the least. Not that it sounded like it would be a bad game from Anshar Studios and Broken Mirror Games. Just that it felt like it was outside the norm of the IP so much that it might not work. Then again, Bloober Team has been backing so many great projects as of late, it would have been bad form to just dismiss SAW: Genesis based just on the story and setting. Read More...

SAW: Genesis Asks Us All To Play A Very Old Game Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of June 2026 - 09:00 PM ]
SAW A new title in the SAW IP is on the way to us, with the announcement of SAW: Genesis taking us into The Great War Even though the film side of things seems to be in a weird limbo, the video game side of things got a little bit of a surprise with SAW: Genesis getting announced. A new and interesting entry into the IP with Anshar Studios and Bloober Team coming together to bring it all to the PC. Not the exact set of teams I was expecting, yet still the teams that I have a feeling have a good chance of doing it correctly. Even if SAW: Genesis does seem to take a weird turn right out of the gate when it comes to the setting. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 14th of December 2024 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Wow, what a week we just wrapped up for video games and gaming in general out there. It may have felt like it started a little slow, but then it came out swinging with titles like Dispatch and Intergalactic getting dropped on us in the middle of it all. Not only that, but we got to see the end of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League land out there and so much more for Warhammer 40,000. That is also barely touching all of the other updates and news we had for all the video games out of the recent shows that took place too. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just as we assumed, this was a crazy-filled week for video games after all of the massive events that took place over the weekend. Massive events that really did not do much more than to sell us on some titles and not really show them off. Thankfully, we were able to dig up some good gameplay for Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin’s Creed Shadows in the mix. Also, a bit more for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 and a great look at DOOM: The Dark Ages too. Read More...
