The Ascent Is Bringing Us Some More Cyberpunk Fun In 2021
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of October 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Ascent The release window for The Ascent is now set in 2021 but we have a plethora of new gameplay for The Ascent to see now We will not be seeing The Ascent on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC this year, but that is okay as it does look like it will be worth the wait. I say this as we have some new gameplay here that Neon Giant has put together to show how they are vastly improving things from what we saw before. The Ascent looked amazing before now and here we go and see a whole lot more for the game and a few of the ways that this action-RPG has been evolved. Especially when you see that we will have some cutscenes in the game where it was assumed that it would not be the case before. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of October 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Little Hope The Dark Pictures: Little Hope launches this week and we have one final look at the sleepy town of Little Hope before launch This is the week that we will all get to continue the anthology with The Dark Pictures: Little Hope as it launches on Friday. It seems like it was quite a bit of time since Supermassive Games offered up our first look at how the story would continue and now, we are days away. That means we have a new trailer to look at just before we dive into the deep side of Little Hope and have all of our friends join in the fun. Something that is highlighted here in this new video for those that may not be sold on how the multiplayer could play out here. Read More...

Review — A Tale Of Paper
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of October 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
A Tale Of Paper We sit down and review A Tale Of Paper. A new platformer where we take on the role of a boy of paper. Here is our review of A Tale Of Paper The indie titles keep rolling out here with A Tale Of Paper being the next one on our list for the PS4. It caught our eye not that long ago when we first saw that Open House Games was going to be able to give the game a shot with the help of the PlayStation program designed to help out smaller studios. That is not the aspect of the game we are going to go in here, though, as it is out there and we had the chance to give it a solid play playthrough here. Sit back and get ready, as here we go with our review for A Tale Of Paper so you can figure out if it will be worth your time and money. Read More...

Spirit Of The North Has An Enhanced Edition Coming For The PS5
by Julia Schoebel [ Tuesday, 27th of October 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Spirit Of The North Spirit Of The North is heading to the next generation with the announcement of the Spirit Of The North: Enhanced Edition The PS5 will have its full version of Spirit Of The North after the console launch, and we are not talking about it in the way of an update from the PS4 as many of the other games will be getting. This will not just be an update that will make the game run on the new system but an edition that will upgrade all of the visuals and the ability to see the game run in glorious 60 fps. Not something that we have ever seen for this one and it makes me excited to see the Spirit Of The North: Enhanced Edition drop on November 26th digitally and then a physical edition of the game on December 4th. Destruction AllStars Is Not Going To Be Out For The PS5 Launch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of October 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Destruction AllStars Destruction AllStars has been delayed out to next year with Destruction AllStars getting a new release window and special announcement too If you were one of those gamers out there looking to have Destruction AllStars at the ready when the PS5 launches, it is time to get a little disappointed. It looks like it will no longer be making that date in November as Lucid Games needs some more time to make sure it is fully ready for the system. It is a bit sad to hear, but it looks like it will add one more title to the February lineup for the PS5 with Destruction AllStars getting shifted to then instead. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is time to put another week to bed and then dive into more of those video games out there. We had a whole lot this week to look at from Watch Dogs: Legion to Call Of Duty that it will be nice to have a break here. Not that we are going to get much of a break out there with all of the upcoming and already released video games we have to play too. That and the DLC for Doom Eternal and the upcoming stuff for Mortal Kombat 11, we are going to be busy all around. Read More...

Peter Offers Up Some Words Of Encouragement For Spider-Man: Miles Morales
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of October 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Spider-Man A new teaser for Spider-Man: Miles Morales gives us a look at how Spider-Man will talk to each other to lift up Well, we do not have anything huge for Spider-Man: Miles Morales to look at here today, but there is more to offer up and hopefully experience for it all. Not much in the way of gameplay or any real details, but a nice little look at how things are going between Peter and Miles in the game's universe. Even if it is more hype and less of seeing Spider-Man do what a spider can. Maybe even more on the side of just reminding us all that the game is still coming on November 12th for the PS5 and PS4. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of October 2020 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is finally time to break for the week and get into enjoying these video games that we have out there now. I guess that is why we covered it all here for you and dug into some of the other various updates we had out there. Even if we are knee-deep in the season of reviews and releases just before the holidays. Read More...

Amnesia: Rebirth Will Use Our Fear In So Many Different Ways
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 16th of October 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Amnesia New gameplay for Amnesia: Rebirth is here to show off how the fear mechanics have evolved in Amnesia Only a few days before we can dive into the horrors that Amnesia: Rebirth has for us all. October 20th is coming and Frictional Games is shaping things up to keep as much hidden from us so we can go in blind, but that does not mean we do not have new gameplay to experience. Granted, all of this is by design for Amnesia: Rebirth here as they are trying to keep things secret for us on our first play. My guess is that it is to keep us all afraid just as much as the character we will be playing as. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of October 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Little Hope The Dark Pictures: Little Hope will host quite a few secrets within the dark story of Little Hope for us to all find Following suit as we have seen in the past title, The Dark Pictures: Little Hope is going to be playing with the premonition and secret stuff that we can find in the game to help better the chances of the characters we are watching. This would be the little objects we can find in the stories that Supermassive Games have put together that will give a short foreshadowing of things to come in the story. Sometimes they can be helpful to show us how our actions will end up killing a character and others how things could play out a bit differently. Read More...

King Arthur The announcement for King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is here to bring us more of the legend of King Arthur in a turn-based setting Here we go with a fun new announcement, as we have King Arthur: Knight’s Tale kicking off and aiming for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC if it is able to get fully completed. This means that we are seeing another fun title go the path of Kickstarter here and NeocoreGames is looking for funds to complete it all right now. Spider-Man: Miles Morales Takes On His First Boss Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of October 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Miles Morales The first boss fight for Spider-Man: Miles Morales is shown off with Miles Morales taking on a villain we barely saw before now It should be easy to assume we would see some of the past villains making their way back into Spider-Man: Miles Morales when it hits the PS4 and PS5 next month. Both titles from Insomniac Games are linked and carry the same story so it would be weird if none of that actually happened. That is why it is not too shocking to see the first villain we will be facing in Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be one that was taken care of rather quickly in the previous title. Read More...
