Got a twitter announcement today from Sega Of America letting everyone know they have launched a brand new site for House Of The Dead: Overkill.  The game is the latest in the series, due out on the Wii in February of this year.  Overkill brings a new style to the game series, which is more of a retro 70s style B-Movie. You and a friend take control of Agent G&Agent Washington while investigating disappearances in a Louisiana town. It's been a while since we've gotten any information about Aliens: Colonial Marines. There have been many rumors flying around saying that the game was officially dropped and was never going to see the light of day. Luckily, SEGA has revealed to videogamer.com that it's still in the works and will be out for the PS3, 360 and PC the first quarter of 2009."Although SEGA was unable to clarify exactly what months Q1 2009 include when contacted by VideoGamer.com, it is expected to run from April to the end of June, the first three months of the Japanese company's financial year. I am saddened to report that Hearst-owned UGO Network has purchased the 1UP Network from Ziff Davis. In what was thought initially to help improve 1UP and its financial standings, has turned out to be a grim surprise. After officially announcing the sale earlier, Ziff Davis Media CEO had this to say, “We believe this is a smart transaction for Ziff Davis Media that places these market leading assets and teams in a great environment poised for further success. The transaction allows us to pay down debt and shift our full focus to our core PCMag Digital Network business. Mark Rein from Epic has responded to everyone's complaints about all the glitches in bugs in the game such as equipping the shield with a 2-hand weapon, Lancers with infinite ammo, invisible shields and so on. That's all going to end soon. Posted on the Gears forums is all the details of what's coming in this patch."We're fixing a whole bunch of online exploits. For example we've fixed the ability to wield an invisible shield, melee through some walls, gain infinite Lancer ammo and equip a shield and a two-handed weapon simultaneously plus many more. Hideo Kojima said to wait a few more weeks for a public announcement on a upcoming Metal Gear project. But scans from Famitsu pretty much spoiled it. Metal Gear is coming to the Iphone. Konami have also given us some details on the game. It's an original title in the MGS4 world with 8 stages with more to be made soon and obviously controlled by the touchpad. Sam & Max are back in their second collection of episodes appropriately titled, Sam & Max: Season Two. For those who don't know, Sam & Max are a detective duo, calling themselves "the freelance police", based off of the comic series created by Steve Purcell. Sam, a 6-foot dog in stereotypical detective attire, and Max, a rabbit with a pension for violence, solve crimes without any regard for the law and rarely without conflict. This review is long overdue, but with a very busy schedule lately, it’s better late than never.Gears of War 2 is Epic Games sequel to the acclaimed original, which was one of the best games to ever grace the XBox 360. Will part 2 rise above its predecessor or fall to the way side of sequels that can't capture that same feeling of the original?
