Michael Bay Directed Need For Speed: The Run Commercial

I don't know how but I managed to stumble across a television commercial for a game series I forgot existed, the Need For Speed franchise. This one is about the latest one, Need For Speed: The Run. The commercial hit like one for a large Hollywood blockbuster. If it weren't for the CGI people you would have a hard time convincing me that this was for a video game. By Mennen! A New Episode Of Nuka Break Slipped Out

I've been insanely busy over the last few days, but it looks like the next chapter on Fallout: Nuka Break just hit like the latest episode of The Walking Dead. Only that unlike TWD, F:NB doesn't fully pick up where we last left off. Be it because of some shady stuff the producers and writers don't want us knowing yet or be that I missed something. Please gods don't let there be another video game film craze coming again. Earlier this week we found out Dead Island has been optioned for a featured film. Now, Mortal Kombat is getting the same treatment. Yes, another Mortal Kombat film is in the works. Although it has potential to be really good but only if things work out as alluded to. It's been two weeks again so it is time for the new episode of Fallout: Nuka Break. It is also time to see how the cliff hanger from last episode is going to work itself out. Shank 2 Announced

EA has announced that they are working with Klei Entertainment on a sequel to Shank, simply titled "Shank 2" at this point. After killing the criminals who betrayed him, former mob hit man Shank must protect his loved ones from the mob he once worked for. So far no release date has been given, but we can surely expect this one to come out sometime in 2012. Dead Island The Movie... Do We Need It?

Do we need yet another zombie film? Or even better, another zombie film based on a video game? I mean are the Resident Evil films not enough for us? If you answered along the lines of "Yes, give me another zombie film based on a video game." then I have some good news for you. Lionsgate has just announced that they have optioned the film rights to Dead Island the movie. Yea… I think… I am being a little hasty here though. The Old Republic Has A Date

"Mail from The Old Republic Community - The announcement you've been waiting for" Huh, seems interesting. Curiosity drives me to see what is inside this email. I rejoice to find the release date for Star Wars: The Old Republic - one of the most anticipated MMO's of all time. Nuka Break: Behind The Scenes

Well, seeing as Hades loves himself some Fallout: Nuka Break and so do all of you, I felt it would be good to show you guys some "behind the scenes." I've been following the creators of Fallout: Nuka Break long before they made the fan film. The guy who plays Twig (Zack Finfrock) is the creator and the main guy behind Wayside Creations (the company that made the web series). Zack first started off on a now cancelled (sadly) show called "Backyard FX" where he was made the host. Zack and Wayside Creations have made dozens of helpful props and tutorials for DIY Film making. Fallout: Nuka Break Replaces Slave Leia With Slave Scarlett

So two weeks ago Fallout: Nuka Break made its debut on the internet with its first episode. In what seems to be a bi-weekly set up now (according to the annotations in the new episode), I bring you Episode 2. Yea, that whole sentence was redundant but you still read it. In this episode, the trio is continuing on to find the perfect Nuka Cola Break and stumble upon the reason for the attack in the first episode. If you've read the show notes and character bios you would know that Scarlett (our heroine) is an escaped slave. Looks like she escaped with the help of Twigg and Ben and her owner wants her back. Well, Serious Sam 3: BFE comes out in about a month and I feel it is my duty as a gamer to spread a little hype about one of my favorite game franchises. Serious Sam 3 takes place before the first Serious Sam game, dropping you in the story right as Mental's unending legion of aliens attack Earth. Valve's Steam Trading Feature Goes Live

Almost a month ago, Valve's Steam Service launched an open beta trading feature which allowed players to trade Gifts/in-game items among other Steam members. Well that service has officially gone live, and you are now free to trade your TF2 hats to all your Steam friends! That was a quick beta test! Steam members can now trade items from Spiral Knights, and Team Fortress 2 as well as gifts purchased (but unopened). Although these are the only games supported for item trading, Valve has said that "Portal 2 should be reasonably soon and we hope to have several third-party games in the next few months.
