Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Kingdom Hearts A new Kingdom Hearts III trailer has been released out of the recent Kingdom Hearts Orchestra event that took place before E3 this year While Kingdom Hearts III may not have been highlighted at all on the E3 show floor, that doesn't mean that we didn't get something new for the game here during the week. Nothing like Square Enix having a small showing in a back room somewhere, at least not that I know of, but during one of their recent events they introduced us to another world making it back into the game as well as some familiar villains. South Park While at E3 I was able to see South Park: The Fractured But Whole in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on South Park: The Fractured But Whole. South Park: The Fractured But Whole is yet another title that we all knew would get shown off at E3 and then we had a chance to see a new trailer as well as its new October 17th release date for the game on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. That is why it was no surprise that it was part of the big showing of titles that Ubisoft had in their booth and around E3 in general. Far Cry 5 While at E3 2017 I was able to see Far Cry 5 in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Far Cry 5 from E3. Given all of the hype around Far Cry 5 and the big announcements just before E3, it is not too shocking that it was on the show floor and out there to be played and experienced to our heart's content. At least as much as Ubisoft had for us, which was a nice solid look at the Heroes for Hire function of the game that will be a big push. We are now up to five in Far Cry 5 and maybe more before it launches on February 27th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Life Is Strange While at E3 I was able to see Life Is Strange: Before The Storm in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Life Is Strange: Before The Storm. Another huge shocking title to make it's way out to E3 this year had to be Life Is Strange: Before The Storm. This is a prequel of sorts for the amazing title that DONTNOD gave us before and now Deck Nine Games aims to give us all a feel for where some of the other characters came from and how they better tie into the overall story. Unlike many of the other games announced and shown at E3 though, Life Is Strange: Before The Storm is slated for a pretty quick release date with August 31st for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It is a shorter title in the series with only three episodes slated, but that doesn't mean it won't pack a punch. Read More...

Spider-Man While at E3 I was able to see Spider-Man in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Spider-Man. This was one of the bigger titles that had everyone on the E3 showfloor clamouring for more and that is about what we had for Spider-Man out here this year. It of course all kicked off with the new gameplay trailer for the game that Insomniac Games put together for the big PlayStation showcase, but then was followed up with another showing on the show floor in one of the PS4 showrooms. It wasn't any different part of Spider-Man, but it was a live demo of the same portion of the game where a few different things were shown off and explained a bit more than in the trailer we all have most likely seen a few times over already. God Of War Another gameplay trailer for God Of War has been released and it also tells us God Of War will officially release in 2018 It's been almost a year since last we had anything solid to go on for God Of War as the last official showing was during the media briefing and E3 of 2016. I know there was a lot of hope that Santa Monica Studio would have had the game hitting the PS4 this year, but now it is confirmed that 2018 will be the year that Kratos is back and slaying all of the mythological beasts of Norse mythology. It is a wait, but given that this is the reboot that God Of War should be getting here, I'll wait the time to make sure we get another great experience out of it all. It would seem a bit of a waste if it was just Kratos going at all of these new gods for no other reason than they are gods and such. Read More...

Nintendo A recent event was held by Nintendo and Universal Parks that kicked off the construction of the new Super Nintendo World While a lot of big gaming news will be coming out for Nintendo here in only a few days, it looks like there is another massive bit coming outside of E3 and the major conventions. Maybe you'll remember back to last year when Universal Parks made mention that they were building a video game themed area in three of their major locations starting with Japan. You may also remember that it was also revealed that it would be specifically Super Nintendo World that was going to be built and that nothing had moved forward since then. Read More...

Injustice 2 Red Hood has been slated to come to Injustice 2 in June and now we not only know when he'll join Injustice 2 but we can see more of his action If you've been keeping up with Injustice 2 since launch then it is no surprise to you that Red Hood is one of the DLC characters that will be coming to the game. Hells, if you've updated the game on the PS4 or Xbox One to the latest build that NetherRealm Studios has put out there then you definitely know as he and silhouettes of the other fighters can also be seen in the game. Pretty much as the team has been getting Injustice 2 ready for all of the future characters to flow on in and now it looks like June 13th will be the day that Red Hood becomes available to all those who want to play as him. Shadow Of War A new story trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has released and shows just what the new ring in Shadow Of War can and will do For a game that needed to be delayed until October 10th, there sure is a lot of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War to go around here and I have a feeling there will be a lot more given its presence at E3 this year. If I had to guess it was less with Monolith Productions needing more time to polish or whatever and more to get the buzz going and the marketing campaigns to a high. Either way, there is a lot of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War out there to take in with more on the way and here we go today with more on the story with an official story trailer for the game. Guardians Of The Galaxy The official trailer for Guardians Of The Galaxy's second episode is here and it looks like one of the Guardians Of The Galaxy will be getting a backstory expanded It was no big secret that the second episode of Guardians Of The Galaxy was coming this week as that was one of the big announcements that Telltale Games laid down for us not too long ago. It's landing on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices on June 6th, tomorrow, and it's been hyped up a bit to get everyone ready to continue on the story that has already begun. Mystical artifact, seems to be able to bring the dead back to life, the Guardians Of The Galaxy have it in their hands, and it looks like we may get to see where Rocket started his whole career from.
