Here We Go With Mass Effect: Andromeda's 1.05 Patch
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Wednesday, 5th of April 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Mass Effect What does Mass Effect: Andromeda look like with less bugs? Hopefully Mass Effect: Andromeda's latest patch will show us Tomorrow (4/6) BioWare’s 1.05 patch for Mass Effect: Andromeda will be available. Down below I’ll leave a link to BioWare’s blog post with the patch notes since I’m going to only gloss over the big ones, and for the fact, I don’t play the multiplayer. The first patch note if “Improved Tutorial Placement” which to me seems odd since I don’t know how they could improve that and what was wrong with it. The opening for Mass Effect: Andromeda was very clunky in every aspect of the word but I felt that was more of a story problem than any oddly placed tutorials. Read More...

It's Time To Try Out Some Of Prey's New Toys & Hardware
by Julia Schoebel [ Tuesday, 4th of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Prey Another trailer for Prey is here and this one goes over all the fun gadgets and gear we'll have to play with in Prey when it launches Another week and another video here for Prey. With May 5th quickly approaching, I know I still have many questions and things I want to see from Arkane Studios and it looks like they are going to deliver it all right up until the launch. Well, at least as much as Bethesda will let them until then. For now though it looks like we have another great look at Prey and the weapons and gear that we will be using here soon to take down the Typhon that are plaguing our ship. Read More...

Review — Bear With Me: Episode One
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Tuesday, 4th of April 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Slime-San We sit down and review Bear With Me: Episode One. Dive in to the detective thriller of the century. Here's our review of Bear With Me: Episode One Bear With Me: Episode One has been pretty much an obsession for me. I’ve had rocky experiences with point and click adventure games over the years. Some are so simple it’s not even fun, then some are masochistically hard from making no logical sense. Why would kicking over a rock in the garden, causing you to stumble back, fall into the pool so that the sun can bounce off the waves, and that somehow blinds the cat causing him to jump from his perch on top the coat rack and brush the lock on the door to open it? Injustice 2 Is Letting The Cat Out Of The Bag Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of April 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 A new look at Injustice 2's Catwoman is here for us all and we get to see how she uses her pets in Injustice 2 to fight dirty Over the weekend there was a fun Injustice 2 April Fools joke of the Wonder Twins being added into the game. So far it has been confirmed that this is a joke from NetherRealm Studios but I wouldn't put it past them for future DLC. That of course is not why we are here though. I'm going to venture a guess that Injustice 2 will have another character shown off this week but as of right now it is time to dig deeper into one that has been part of the roster for a while. This Week In Video Games 3/27/17 — 3/31/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of March 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with yet another week in video games in the bag. A nice strong week at that as we started out with a great review for Mass Effect: Andromeda and still managed to not have any of the April Fool's Day bullshit mixed in. I can't talk about tomorrow or the following days but maybe we'll see something great for Injustice 2 or Prey for some reason. That is unless all of this week's updates and news for our video games was a huge prank and then we could call it all a wash and start over. Read More...

Prey Is Now Letting Us Play With Power…s
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Prey New details on Prey's alien powers and human upgrades are here and it shows just how in Prey we will be playing with more power As we mentioned earlier in the week, Prey was slated to get a few new videos to look at to go over the alien powers and upgrades that we could jam into Yu's eyes. We've already seen a nice smattering of them all already but just when you though that Arkane Studios has shown them all, they have a few more in the wings waiting to be seen. Now we get to see them and hopefully not all for Prey here as we still need some surprises come May 5th and hopefully Bethesda is going to reel it all in to make sure we aren't left wanting but also don't know it all. That is the hope at least. Read More...

It's Almost Time To Get Tangled In Blue With The Guardians Of The Galaxy
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Guardians Of The Galaxy The release date for Guardians Of The Galaxy has been set and we also have a new trailer for Guardians Of The Galaxy's first episode The date has been set and the Guardians Of The Galaxy episodic title will be here by April 18th for those who want to pick it up digitally for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It kind of looks like Telltale Games is only slightly using the new film to synergize sales for the game but none the less it is coming. I guess you could say it is going to piggy back off the Guardians Of The Galaxy sequel in the way that a physical form of the game will be available on May 5th, the same day as the film, but that won't get everyone as amped up as it'll still only be the digital code for the season in the box more or less. Injustice 2 Shows Us The Bad, The Worse, & The Fear Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Injustice 2 A new Injustice 2 video shows off some of the villains already announced for Injustice 2 but also shows off another new villain in the mix It's Thursday again and that seems to mean that Injustice 2 will have another character revealed or at least a showcasing of a few characters that have already been revealed. Today though, it looks like NetherRealm Studios has doubled down on all of that and has given a showing of some already announced characters in the roster but also show off one that has yet to be shown; but was on that rumored list for so long. It's time to have a look at Grodd, Bane, Captain Cold, and the latest villain to join the rouge's gallery for Injustice 2; Scarecrow. Read More...

StarCraft Remastered Is Coming To Show How The Evolution Can Be Completed
by Duke Searles [ Tuesday, 28th of March 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
StarCraft It has been announced that StarCraft Remastered is in the works and that we will see an HD remaster of StarCraft sometime this Summer If there has ever been one solid RTS title in gaming history it has to be StarCraft. I know it was one of my favorites for so very long even with all of the other titles that Blizzard has given us over the past nearly two decades. It was one of the games that locked me firmly into the PC gaming world and now it looks like it is going to do it again. Sadly, this isn't an announcement for a sequel, but we are getting StarCraft Remastered now and all of the glory that can bring with it. Read More...

It's Time To Montage Prey's Weapons And Typhon Powers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 28th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Prey A new showcasing of Prey's different weapons and powers is here to show you the stuff we have yet to see for Prey so far We've seen a whole lot of the weapons and powers for Prey so far but it has seemed a bit limited. I assumed that was due to the fact that Arkane Studios wanted to keep a lot of it under wraps until May 5th when we'll all be playing the game on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC. Looks like I was wrong. Not in the aspect that we have seen it all already, but in the fact that Bethesda has brought us one more video here for Prey that showcases more of the powers and weapons in the game that we will be using. Final Fantasy XV Opens Up Another Secret Passage In The Recent Update
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy XV New areas for Final Fantasy XV are opening up as another Final Fantasy XV patch is out with free content before the paid DLC I hope you are ready to dive back into Final Fantasy XV and give that infamous Chapter 13 another a play through. If not, it is okay but you'll be missing out on a few things as Square Enix has released a new update for the game that brings us a different path to take and shake up what many thought was a weird bit to the game's progression. Ask anyone, myself included, things went rather "off" for Final Fantasy XV at that point in the game and now it looks like there is going to be a bit of a fix to it. All of this due to the new bit of DLC for the game coming out tomorrow in the way of Episode Gladiolus. Read More...

Mass Effect We sit down and play Mass Effect: Andromeda. We've had some time and now we delve into a full review of Mass Effect: Andromeda Hello again Mass Effect fans. Welcome to my review for Mass Effect: Andromeda. I won’t take much time discussing bugs and things I covered in my first impressions article, but I will get the bad out of the way first. If you’re going to pick this game up then get a can of Raid with it because the bugs are plentiful. One experience I had was on a mission you get from Vetra. Read More...

Get Ready To Launch Some Fools With Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of March 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Bulletstorm A launch trailer for Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition has been released to show us even more on how Bulletstorm has been upgraded and worth our time and money again In case you forgot, Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition will be launching on April 7th here for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We've brought this up before as this is the remastered version of People Can Fly's insane, bullet-hell driven title from a while back that had a nice little following for it. It's been given a bit of a tune up and a fresh coat of paint and will soon be out there for everyone to drive around like an asshole if they wish. That is not a testament to what I think of Bulletstorm mind you, just a fitting description of how it all came together again based on the titles themes and setting. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Outlast 2 It looks like Outlast 2 will be releasing in Australia afterall as Outlast 2 has now been given a classification of R18+ by the reviewing board Here's a bit of good news out there just in case you weren't having a good day. It looks like Outlast 2 will be releasing down in Australia now as the ratings board down there has given the game a classification of R18+. This comes a week after were first caught wind that they refused to give the game a rating due to some of the graphic things that Red Barrels had in the game; particularly one scene. But the worry is now over as it has been resolved and now we all get to see and experience Outlast 2 on April 25th. Read More...
