Paragon Now Has Its Monkey King As Wukong Joins Right In
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Paragon The next Paragon hero has been shown off and you can expect this monkey to hit Paragon here on Tuesday after another three week wait for a new hero It was only a matter of time before Paragon got it, as every MOBA does have the character type, but it looks like the next hero to land will be a Monkey King style character named Wukong. It seemed like only a matter of time before Epic Games placed this kind of character in there and as of June 6th you will be able to play as Wukong on the PC and PS4 versions of the game. This brings us to 33 different heroes for Paragon by my count, I may be off, but it does look like there are now even more options out there than what came at launch. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/29/17 — 6/2/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of June 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was a shorter week here in video games but it still packed a lot of punches indeed. A lot of which was just to build up to E3 in just over a week from now but still we had a bunch of good and bad things happen this week. I know it was a bummer to see that Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War was delayed a few months, as well as Agony. At least the second title there had an amazing reason for the delay. Read More...

Here We Go With My E3 2017 Wish List To See Out There
by Greg Tatterfield [ Friday, 2nd of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
E3 With E3 2017 about to hit us, I figured it would be high time to get my E3 wish list out there in hopes to see a few titles during the event The biggest gaming convention E3 is right around the corner and excitement is building towards the event. Starting June 13th E3 always brings the biggest announcements and surprises in the gaming industry. This is my wish list for the event of what I hope to see this year at E3, in no particular order. The Last Of Us Part 2 Earlier this year Naughty Dog showed off a trailer of The Last Of Us Part II which showed off a bit of the story and how much time has passed since the first game. Read More...

Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War Has Sadly Been Delayed A Bit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Shadow Of War It looks like Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has been delayed a bit as the team aims to make Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War a better title…somehow I hope you weren't still looking for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War to launch this August as it has sadly been delayed out from the initial date we were given. It looks like Monolith Productions needs more time to perfect the game and the Nemesis gameplay so now we have to wait. How much longer of a wait? Read More...

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Shows Off More Gameplay & Its Evolutions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Crash Bandicoot A massive gameplay dump for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is here and it shows off just how all these Crash Bandicoot titles have been fully updated More gameplay for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy that is coming to the PS4 on June 30th has just been dropped and it is another massive bit. We've had a few teases given out from Activision over the last few weeks, but here it looks like Vicarious Visions has opted to sit down and dole out close to a half-hour demo of the titles in the bundle and we all get to sit back and watch. It also looks like they didn't stick to just one title in the Crash Bandicoot franchise that will be part of this new bundled remaster, so there is a lot to take in on top of all of that. This Week In Video Games 5/22/17 — 5/26/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of May 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Another week of video games in the bag and it was a huge one that was un expected indeed. I could have sworn it would have been a silent week given the proximity of E3, but it looks like they had to get all of the Far Cry 5 news out there to get us all hyped up for the video games still to come in the next few weeks. That and keep our minds off the delay of Red Dead Redemption 2 a bit and then be excited to see that LawBreakers is heading to the PS4 as well now. Mix in the Xbox Game Pass and other little bits we had and it was a pretty damn solid week for us all. Read More...

Welcome To Far Cry 5 And All The Insanity That Waits For Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Far Cry 5 The official trailer for Far Cry 5 has landed and we have a whole lot going on in Far Cry 5 than previously thought to be going on The time has come and here we are with the full showing of Far Cry 5 as we were all promised. The official full trailer for the game has dropped to give us a feel for Hope County, Montana and it looks like Ubisoft went the extra mile to not only give us that but also a few more trailers to give us a feel for the other characters in the game's world. Oh, and also the fact that Far Cry 5 will be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 27th on top of all of that. It is such a big day for this title that it feels like it would be an E3 announcement, but apparently there will be a lot more of all of that during the show. Read More...

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Looks To Have Been Leaked Out There
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Mario A new title, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, has been leaked out early and it looks to team Mario up with some Rabbids in a weird cross-over game With E3 almost here that means that the leaks should start flowing out there and it looks like we have one here for a new title called Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Originally it was just a leak of the key art showing that Ubisoft and Nintendo were working on some kind of cross-over between the two franchises, but now it looks like part of a presentation, presumably one for E3, has popped up with some of the slides showing off this Switch title just a bit more and just what we could expect from it. I'm sure that there will be more to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle during whichever event it will be shown off in, but here is what we can gather so far from just the few slides that have "leaked" out there. Far Cry 5's Tone & Theme Is Defined A Bit More By New Art
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Far Cry 5 New art for Far Cry 5 has been revealed and it looks to set a twisted religious tone to Far Cry 5 that seems to be all the rage as of late Another new tease for Far Cry 5 has been let loose on the world today in the way of some new key art or cover art; depending on who you talk to about this. We still have a bit of time until we get to see the first full trailer for the game as Ubisoft is still aiming to give this to us on the 26th here, but that doesn't slow down their need to tease us and have us all digging into everything for any little bit before the full reveal. Yes, there is already speculation about Far Cry 5 here based on just this one shot that does mirror a bit of what we saw back with Far Cry 4. Read More...

Gwent The public beta for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game has kicked off and now players on all announced platforms can get in some games of Gwent to shape the game Not too long ago the closed beta for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game closed down on the PC version of the game and it gave us all a great glimpse at the game so far, as well as helped iron out some of the kinks in the mechanics to make it the game we all were addicted to inside another game. As of today (5/24/17) though, CD Projekt RED has opened the flood gates to allow everyone in on the beta as the public beta has kicked off. Red Dead Redemption 2 Is Moseying On Into 2018 Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Red Dead Redemption 2 It looks like Red Dead Redemption 2 will now release in 2018 but we do have some new Red Dead Redemption 2 screenshots to gaze at We all hate delays but sometimes it is for the better and hopefully that will be the case here for Red Dead Redemption 2 as it has now been hit with a delay. Even though there wasn't a release date specifically set for the game, Rockstar Games did state that they were aiming to get the game out on the PS4 and Xbox One by this Fall. Now the wait will be a little bit longer as Red Dead Redemption 2 will not be coming to us until sometime in Spring of 2018. Read More...

There Is More To The Moral Dilemmas & Worlds In Star Wars Battlefront II
by Julia Schoebel [ Monday, 22nd of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Star Wars A new part of Star Wars Battlefront II's developer diaries has been released to go into some of the moral grey areas in the Star Wars universe While I wish we had more to show off in terms of gameplay for Star Wars Battlefront II, it looks like what we have here is a new developer diary for the game to gaze upon. Pretty much more on what DICE was getting into with their last one only that they talk a bit more on the morally grey portions of the IP and franchise; that and we'll be able to experience some of this in the new game. If I had to guess I would say that EA is holding all of the juicier parts of Star Wars Battlefront II until E3 or D23 here soon, but none the less this is a great reminder that it is coming and a bit more of what to expect on November 17th.
