If you like to hear about titles well in advance then do I have a title for you; SOMA. SOMA is the latest title to be announced from Frictional Games (Amnesia and Penumbra) and is slated for Windows, Mac, Linux, and PS4. It also happens to have a release window of…2015. Ok, so that headline is only half way true. Tango Gameworks and Bethesda are also looking for some awesome The Evil Within fan art or costumes inspired by everything they have released for the game so far and not just Boxman. You could also go with Nails-In-The-Face or Octo-Hair-Wavy-Girl if you are so inclined. Granted those names are made up by myself and not the "official" names being used by the studio or the publisher but if you look at the trailers and screen shots then mix in their 'clever' name for Boxman it is an easy assumption. Well here is some sad news. It looks like Watch Dogs is going to be delayed until spring of 2014 now. This is a title I have been eagerly awaiting and actually got me to upgrade my PS4 pre-order to come bundled with. Looks like I will have to be choosing a new title to start playing during next month's console release. Before you think this is rumor or just random neigh saying, the news comes right from the Ubisoft blog. If you want to save yourself a bit of time, the short version for the delay is that Watch Dogs needs more 'polish' and 'fine tuning'. Read More...

A little over two years ago Sony announced a mobile application for users to be able to check all the ins and outs of their PS3. It was only released in the European market to my knowledge. I've looked around and have yet to find anything official in the North American market, but that's not the point. If you pre-order the game now, and I'm assuming up until spring of 2014, you will gain access to the official beta for the game. The assumption before is based on the fact that this beta is slated for "Early 2014" or "spring 2014" and there would be no need to gain access after said beta has concluded. Either way, if you haven't pre-ordered yet, or if you have, you need to head down and get your beta code so you can get all set up. Not exact as in step by step, but I do have all the sections that I was shown in the dark room. Last Monday during Raw 2K Sports revealed the full roster for their upcoming game WWE 2K14. The roster features a nice balance between legends and current generation superstars. There are a few standouts here like Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns (The Shield) who are in a WWE game for the first time ever. Also the previously announced Hulk Hogan was also a surprise due to his affiliation with rival company TNA. Last year WWE 13 took a look at the infamous Attitude Era. This year WWE 2K14 is looking at the biggest event in WWE history; WrestleMania. The new single player mode 30 years of WrestleMaina covers some of the greatest matches from WrestleMaina 1 to last year's WrestleMaina 29. I want to start off this whole thing with a nice quote from the amazing film Orgazmo. Take a look before I go into the bulk of what I want to talk about in this posting about the "over sexualization" in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V and comments made my Kojima. Just in case you skipped the clip, I don't know why you would have, it is pretty much how I feel about this whole "Sexy up" the characters in the game drama all over the internet. If you haven't heard this yet, doubtful, there was a huge splash made when Hideo Kojima spoke about making the characters in MGSV more erotic in hopes to get cosplayers and figurines of the game all over every convention.
