Now We Know When Everybody's Gone To The Rapture
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
A new teaser trailer for Everybody's Gone To The Rapture has been released with the best information being the released date for Everybody's Gone To The Rapture It feels kind of weird as this could have been a better part of the E3 announcements but now we have a release date for Everybody's Gone To The Rapture. I'm not going to complain because I been overly intrigued with what The Chinese Room and Santa Monica Studios have been cooking up for the game since it first came on the scene but this announcement, and trailer, feel like it would have been better placed during the larger PlayStation conference in a few days where it would get to stand with all of the other PS4, PS3, and PS Vita titles that will be on display. Maybe they just didn't want Everybody's Gone To The Rapture to get lost in the hustle and bustle there. Read More...

Of course it is. Telltale wouldn't want us to forget about their take on Gearbox's franchise would they? So what if we have had a few more episodes of Game Of Thrones in between each for Tales From The Borderlands so far? Read More...

New SOMA Trailer Shows Us What Sucks About Dying
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 11th of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
We have the new SOMA E3 trailer here to show us a bit more about the concept of the game as well as the release date for SOMA We are well into the E3 trailer season right now and next up happens to be a game I have been keeping a close eye on: SOMA. I've mentioned it many times before but for you newbies here this is the net sci-fi horror game from Frictional Games. It looked like another BioShock style game when first announced but SOMA has evolved, or at least the trailers have evolved, to show us something unique and not another plain knock off. As I said you can have a look at the trailer below to see what I am talking about but do make sure to stay all the way to the end of the weirdness as we also get the SOMA release date for PS4 and PC/Steam. A Real First Look At The New Rock Band 4 Controllers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Another, yet more detailed, look at the Rock Band 4 controllers that we will need to truly shine in Rock Band 4 Next week a lot of us, media and fans alike, are going to get to get our hands on Rock Band 4 and give the game a good play through at E3. In this case it won't be only the game but also the new controllers being made just for Rock Band 4 by Mad Catz. Something that also needs to be impressive to be able to show off all of the work that Harmonix has put into the game thus far and moving forward. We've had looks in that past at all of them but it was more glitz and glamour as to what to expect for the Rock Band 4 hardware but some people like me want to know more than just "the buttons are quieter" when it comes to the controllers. There Is Going To Be A Ratchet & Clank Film Tie-In Game
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The first trailer for the Ratchet & Clank tie-in game for the Ratchet & Clank film based off the Ratchet & Clank franchise has been released with great humor The title kind of says it all but we have our first look at the Ratchet & Clank game for the PS4 that will be launching sometime along with the Ratchet & Clank film next year. The film of course is hitting theaters on April 29th of 2016 and seeing as this game is linked to the events and story that the film will be portraying it will be safe to assume that Insomniac Games will be wrapping it up and sending it out for packaging at least sometime around then. That does make perfect sense does it not? Read More...

Dive Into The Madness Of Hellblade With Its New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
The first bit of gameplay for Hellblade has been released as well as a bit on Hellblade's story and how it will be looking at mental illness We've been waiting a while for Hellblade to have some gameplay to show off and now the wait is over. The first gameplay trailer is here just in time for E3 and to go along with it and its amazingness Ninja Theory is also giving a taste of what the game's story is going to be all about. I have yet to be let down by a single game that they have brought to market and given what is shown below and talked about Hellblade does not look like it is going to end that streak. I think it has to do with the team always seeming to try and have some thought provoking elements in their games, even if the original story is lifted from other sources, and Hellblade is looking to actually tackle one of my favorite issues with humanity: Mental Illness. Because We Need More LEGO Games We Have LEGO Marvel's Avengers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Not to discriminate in the LEGO games we now have LEGO Marvel's Avengers announced and coming later this winter from TT Games If you were sitting around wondering if we could cram one more LEGO video game in this year then let me answer that with yes and it is LEGO Marvel's Avengers. Don't let the title fool you here though as it isn't just a LEGO version of the first Avengers film but LEGO Marvel's Avengers is a combination of both of the Avengers films in one. A lot like LEGO Jurassic World and being a combination of all four of the films in the franchise. None the less it looks like TT Games has either mastered the craft to churn out LEGO games or they have been breaking themselves like crazy to get all of these titles, LEGO Marvel's Avengers included, out in 2015. We Are Not Getting Mirror's Edge 2 But Mirror's Edge Catalyst
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
It looks like EA couldn't hold back another week as now we have Mirror's Edge Catalyst officially announced and it is not Mirror's Edge 2 If you were holding your breath for any updates on Mirror's Edge 2… please stop as you will be killing yourself as we are not getting that game. Don't fret though as we are still getting a Mirror's Edge title as EA and DICE have promised in the past but in this instance it looks like the franchise is getting rebooted in sorts. All in the way of Mirror's Edge Catalyst. That is the name of the game so you can go back to holding your breath for anything else about it. Read More...

Go Under Batman: Arkham Knight's Red Hood DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new look at Batman: Arkham Knight's Red Hood DLC has been released and it shows a bit more why Batman: Arkham Knight is rated M for Mature now If you are looking to squeeze all the story you can out of Batman: Arkham Knight then you might want to look into pre-ordering the game to make sure you have most of it from day one. Yes, Rocksteady has talked about pumping out more story DLC as the cycle of Batman: Arkham Knight pushes on but it looks like the Red Hood DLC for the game is a GameStop exclusive. Spin up the sad trombone music as yes, you did read that and now you can go into the age old debate of wanting to pre-order there or pick up Batman: Arkham Knight elsewhere and hope that Warner Bros. Gotham's Night Life Is Brutal In Batman: Arkham Knight
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of June 2015 - 09:01 PM ]
Another Arkham Insider has been released to detail more about Batman: Arkham Knight and this time it is a look at how Batman has changed to fight said Arkham Knight The days are fleeting away as we get closer to the release of Batman: Arkham Knight. That is good for two reasons. One of which being that our PS4, Xbox One, and/or PC will be full of all kind of Batman goodness real soon. The other reason being that Rocksteady really wants to show off Batman: Arkham Knight and that means more and more to look at as we wait. Hopefully not more to spoil all of the fun on June 23rd but that is why you always get the option to skip these spoiler type videos and sit on your laurels and wait for Batman: Arkham Knight all by your lonesome. Let's Get To Know Drawn To Death's Johnny Savage
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The first major character bio for Drawn To Death has been released out to the world and it details Drawn To Death's Johnny Savage with moves and a bit of backstory Up until now we have had a very basic story and character breakdown for Drawn To Death. Bartlet Jones has given us some between last year's PSX show and now but nothing too substantial. I'm guessing this is partly because they were still working on all of the kinks and partly because they wanted to have something amazingly over the top to show off at E3. This is the company's first big title and as it is an exclusive on PS4 Drawn To Death has a lot to deliver for us all. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We have a new trailer for Battleborn just in time for E3 and it shows off just how Battleborn will be a game for every kind of badass out there It has been some time since we had much to cover here in the ways of Battleborn but it looks like Gearbox has decided to break the silence and give us a new trailer for the game. Not only a new trailer just in time for E3 but a whole bunch of new information to make sure we all know that Battleborn is going to be a game for every type of badass out there. I'm talking gun-toting badasses, knife-wielding badasses, robot badasses, mushroom man badasses, and hopefully tax preparing badasses. Read More...
