New Game Of Thrones Screenshots Have Leaked Out
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Time to crack open some wine and have a gander at the 'leaked' Game Of Thrones screenshots from Telltale Games' upcoming rendition of the franchise Just like Star Trek fans all of those Game Of Thrones fans are just as rabid and trying to find any little extra they can when the franchise has something else coming out. In this case it looks like someone found some great Game Of Thrones screenshots for the upcoming title that Telltale Games is working on for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, and Mac. Up until now we've had very sly teases from the developer as to what we could expect from the game but nothing all too concrete or as to the style that we could expect to see Game Of Thrones take. These Cops In Battlefield Hardline Are Ruthless Yet Awesome
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 14th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Some new Battlefield Hardline footage has been smuggled onto the web and it shows off quite a bit of the single player gameplay as well as the tone of the game We've seen a bit of the single player for Battlefield Hardline and played the multiplayer beta for the game already. Until now I don't think I've seen how rough Visceral Games and EA are going to have their cops and DEA member look in Battlefield Hardline. This is not a bad thing in my opinion we just haven't seen anything like this until this recent b-roll footage (see below) surfaced up. Maybe you have but to date I have not seen how rough and amazing this is going to be when we finally get Battlefield Hardline on our PS3s, PS4s, Xbox Ones, Xbox 360s, or PCs. Read More...

Review: Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare [Multiplayer]
by Greg Tatterfield [ Thursday, 13th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
We sit down and play Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Is this veteran still up to task find out in our two part review? This part will cover the multiplayer Hated Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare is a solid experience and perhaps one of the best Call Of Dutys in years. With that being said there is one issue that tarnishes the whole experience and that is the lag. This is the kind of lag that you don't notice till you try and kill another player. You could have the best aim and shoot another player first and then still get killed by said player. Read More...

Review: Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare [Campaign]
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare's campaign mode. Does it advance the overall franchise or does it leave us all wanting more? The time has come around again and we have had the chance to play and review Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. We have Sledgehammer Games back at the helm for the latest edition to join the franchise and they are looking to stake their claim back into our hearts and systems. They have been trying to push the limits of the current and next gen consoles and all of the hype has shown that to be the case but did they actually do it? Is Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare just a fancy cash grab or is it the next greatest edition to the overall franchise? Read More...

See How Resident Evil Revelations 2 Is Going To Handle In Your Hands
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 13th of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
Some new gameplay footage for Resident Evil Revelations 2 has surfaced and it shows off the menu system as well as the controller scheme We've seen Resident Evil Revelations 2 in action already but until now there was no context on how everything was being driven and controlled. It was easy to assume the basic for the game as Capcom doesn't deviate from the basics all too much. I mean why would you change Up on the Left Stick from moving the character forward and all that? It would make no sense unless you were making a title specifically to mess with the norm and let's face it, Resident Evil Revelations 2 is not a game that looks to be deviating from the norm but giving us more of the Resident Evil franchise in our faces. Now Here's Everything You Need To Know For Far Cry 4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 12th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Here is a new trailer for Far Cry 4 from Ubisoft and Red Storm to show us everything that we need to know for the game's launch It looks like these "everything you need to know" videos from Ubisoft are all the rage still so here we have one for Far Cry 4. We all need a reminder as to why we need to be picking up Far Cry 4 and giving it a spin because all of the previous videos and information handed out like candy just wasn't enough. I'm so glad that we are getting treated like we have the truncated version of a gold fish's memory. Like under a week kind of truncated here. Read More...

It has just been announced from Avalanche Studios and Square Enix that we are getting Just Cause 3 in 2015 Time to dust off all of those Just Cause jokes and puns as we are getting Just Cause 3. Just Like The Gameplay, Escape Dead Island Is Sneaking Up On Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
A new stealth gameplay clip for Escape Dead Island has been released from Deep Silver and Fatshark Games as we lead up to the release date Escape Dead Island releases next week on November 18th for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Just like the following gameplay clip for the game that date kind of snuck up on us didn't it? It did for me as I could have sworn that we just had the announcement for the game and first looks only a few months ago. Way to creep up on us there and give us all a nice creeper title to give us another bit of fun over the video game launch two weeks. Read More...

More Support For Evolve In The Way Of Cabot
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
IGN Has Shown Off The New Support For Evolve Named Cabot And He Looks More Supportive Than The Others Last week we had our most recent hunter for Evolve shown off in the wake of the PS4 and Xbox One beta. This week we get another new hunter in the support class named Cabot. He's a rail gun shooting, death ray wielding, orbital cloud calling new addition to the mix who also looks to be way more in the support class than any of the others that have already been announced by 2K Games and Turtle Rock Studios to date. Here's a quick breakdown of what Cabot brings to Evolve and how I came to my thought on him. We all know that the support for Evolve is there to buff and also put the hurt on the monster as you hunt it down. Read More...

The Game Awards Have Been Announced Because We Need Another One…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Geoff Keighley has announced that it is time for The Game Awards show, another awards show just for video games I was thinking the other day "Why don't we have another awards show for video games?" Looks like someone was reading my mind as it looks like we have The Game Awards just announced by Geoff Keighley coming our way to celebrate the video game industry. If the VGX and other award shows of the past weren't proof enough that most gamers out there don't care for an awards show then I don't know what else will. Although to be honest after hearing a bit more on The Game Awards show some doubts could be put aside as it doesn't sound like one network's way to grab some quick cash using our beloved subculture. Blizzard Just Announced Their First New IP In A While: Overwatch
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of November 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Fresh out of Blizzcon 2014 Blizzard has announced Overwatch their first fully new IP in 17 years It has been about 17 years since Blizzard has moved away from any title that wasn't Diablo, Warcraft, or StarCraft based so it was quite a shock to here that they are working on a new title named Overwatch. This is a team based, first person shooter which is another interesting deviation for the company but not one that isn't going to be welcomed with open arms. I'm not even a huge Blizzard fan who spends all of my time and money on their games and I'll admit what we've seen so far for Overwatch has piqued my interest and garnered my watchful eye. You Want Zombies In Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare? Of Course You Do
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of November 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
If you are still lost on how to unlock the Zombies in Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare here's a nice little guide It has been confirmed that we are getting a zombie mode in Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare via future DLC from Activision and Sledgehammer Games but do you really want to wait until then? Of course you don't. Especially since it wouldn't be part of the Season Pass DLC but be a standalone thing for Advanced Warfare. Hopefully you knew all that before you read this so if you wanted the zombie killing action you didn't get primed in other ways. Read More...

It's Time To Question The Creed In Assassin's Creed Rogue
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of November 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
A new web experience for Assassin's Creed Rogue will let you see how some of the iconic kills in the franchise were viewed from the other side I think words have yet to be able to explain how excited I am for Assassin's Creed Rogue. It will be the first real time that we get to see things from the perceived villains of the franchise: The Templar. Hopefully we will get to see why they are taking all the steps that they have over the years that have "required" the Creed to have been formed. Granted in Assassin's Creed Rogue we are only going to be seeing the side of events that took place around the timeline of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag but it is something more than nothing.
