I think Telltale Games took the DeLorean the wrong way through the time stream. Instead of going back and making a huge game based off the franchise back in the late 80's and early 90's, they went forward and decided to make a game 20 years after the last film hit theaters. Well, it's been a while since Rock Band got a bit more country in their song selections. Harmonix and MTV Games have announced a nine track pack of country songs for all the country fans out there. Yes, that includes myself. What? You've never seen an Asian with a southern accent before? Today more songs were revealed for Harmonix's Dance Central at Gamescom 2010. Currently one of the only games worth purchasing Microsoft's Kinect, Dance Central combines music, fun and dancing to create an experience unlike any other. I know that phrase is used an awful lot in this industry, but after experiencing it for myself at E3, I can definitively say I will purchase a XBox 360 and a Kinect specifically for this title. With today's announcement, the song list increases to 20. With only 30+ songs promised on the disc, you may be concerned about the depth of the roster, but with a list that now includes Rihanna's "Pon de Replay" and Technotronic's "Pump Up the Jam", I don't think you have too much to worry about. Well this news came sooner than I could ever realized. According to G4tv.com, Legendary Pictures just picked up the rights to make a feature film based on Mass Effect. As we speak they are in discussions with the screen writers from I Am Legend and Thor to produce the screenplay. Now you may be wondering who will be producing the film? You will be happy to know that BioWare's co-founder and VP, Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk, along with Mass Effect executive producer, Casey Hudson, will serve as executive producers for the film. I know what your thinking, "damn another crappy Street Fighter film," but that's not the case here. This new adaptation looks fantastic, and true to the style and impact that so many Street Fighter fans have felt over the years. This is a movie for the fans. Joey Ansah is a stuntman (last see in Bourne Ultimatum) with a passion, a passion for the Street Fighter franchise. Well it's coming closer to crunch time for Iron Man 2. Both for the film and videogame. So let's take a look at what we get to look forward to in the next week. At least as far as the videogame goes. Well now that the film has come and still kind of around in theaters, some of these screen shots (below) for Namco's video game version of the game have begun to make a little more sense. Although there were still no frog people in the film, some of the updated and altered creatures and scenes fit in a little better. I find it a little odd, yet a little relieving, that the game based on the recent release of Clash Of The Titans isn't hitting shelves for another two months. Really odd as most of the time the licencors want a game to hit along side the release of a movie. Which generally leads to rushing and piss poor work being slopped out there to make a buck or two.
