Can We Cut To An Official Fallout Film Now?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Another 'fan film' for the Fallout universe has surfaced, Fallout Lost/Found. Here's what is known. It's been a bit since we had a 'fan film' service to Fallout with Nuka Break so I guess it is time for another with Fallout Lost/Found. What is Fallout Lost/Found? Yet another fan short that will be making the rounds keeping all Fallout fans clamoring for a full on feature film or maybe an episodic show the likes of The Walking Dead. That sounds like I am not interested or excited to see this unfold but I am. I am just hopeful that Bethesda would have taken all of the fan love and give them what they apparently want. Read More...

Looks Like The Last Of Us Is Going To Hit The Big Screen
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of March 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Reports are in that Screen Gems and Sam Raimi will be bringing The Last Of Us to the big screen. How excited are we now? File this new The Last Of Us news under the most amazing thing I could have heard and hope is 100% confirmed. What is it? That Sam Raimi, Ghost House Pictures, and Screen Gems is working on bringing The Last Of Us to the big screen. One of the best parts of the game, that being the story, will now be placed on a medium that will let everyone, gamer or not, to enjoy what I thought was one of the best stories I have had the pleasure to play through. But let's move onto what is known as of right not and not all of my hype. Read More...

We Have Another Heavenly Sword Movie Trailer To Check Out
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of February 2014 - 08:00 PM ]
Heavenly Sword is getting the big CGI film treatment and we have a trailer for it. How does it look so far? Back in November of 2013 we got the first look at what the Heavenly Sword CGI film would look like. I had my reservations, and still do, about this film and some of the things that looked to be missing when everything was announced. One of whom was one of my favorite characters Kai. At least that concern has been covered as she shown in this new trailer in all of her arrow shooting glory. Read More...

Feel free to come back once you've done your research. Ok, so you are back or never left. Read More...

A Few Updates On PlayStation Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of January 2014 - 05:31 PM ]
PlayStation Now was announced and we got some of the news but after getting to talk to some of the people behind the service we have a few updates. Earlier I wrote about my experiences with Sony's new PlayStation Now service that will be coming to market in the next half a year or so. I had a few reservations as well as a few other questions crop up during my writing. Being semi-responsible I decided to go and get some better clarifications and answers to expand on my experience. Here is what I learned directly from the horse's mouth at CES. Read More...

CES 2014 Hands On: PlayStation Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of January 2014 - 05:32 PM ]
Sony unveiled PlayStation Now at this year's CES and had a little taste of it on the show floor. Here's what I discovered while giving it a whirl. In case you have missed the announcement, Sony has announced PlayStation Now as a new video game streaming service coming to the PS4, PS3, PS Vita, and Bravia TVs in the near future. Think of it along the lines of OnLive or the PC game streaming feature from GameFly but aimed at PlayStation games and at Sony products solely. That is the general gist of things but here's a bit more of a break down for you. Read More...

Because That's How PlayStation 4 / Xbox One People Are
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of November 2013 - 07:02 PM ]
The Latest South Park Episode Wraps Up The Ludicrous Thoughts On The PS4 Vs. Xbox One Console War…In My Opinion A few years ago, around the launch of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, there was a huge controversy over an acronym that was being used as a promotional piece for the game. Fight Against Grenade Spam was the tag for those that don't remember. They caught a lot of flak for it from the media and at about the same time the brains over at South Park Studios put out an episode, The F Word, which summed up my feelings on the matter. As we move into the new consoles coming out here in a matter of days, one for the PlayStation 4 and eight for the Xbox One in NA, I have been seeing more and more on this gens 'Console War'. You Can Binge Watch Mortal Kombat Legacy Season 2, But Do You Want To?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of October 2013 - 03:52 PM ]
Earlier this year we got a trailer and a few details about the second season of Mortal Kombat: Legacy. I was not overly impressed. Now the time has come and we have the full season available to watch. I have and am still not impressed at all. Again this feels like a simple milking of the franchise and nothing more. If you don't believe me or think you might have a different opinion on the quality of the web series you can watch all ten episodes below. It makes me sad to know that an original idea that happened three years ago spawned just another telling of the same story we have heard a hundred and one times already. Read More...

The Brothers Rapture Show Us Another Slice Of Rapture
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of May 2013 - 07:57 PM ]
It could be just me, but I'm pretty sure we would all love to see an amazing silver screen adaptation of BioShock. I'd like to think that we haven't yet because of worry that fans would not accept it unless it is top notch. So what do we get in the interim? Well if you haven't scrolled down yet, we get some pretty amazing short films produced by fans for the fans. The most recent one called The Brothers Rapture. The following short film follows the dark tale of two brothers who have moved to Rapture to escape some of their past hardships and to create art without hindrance. Read More...

What Have They Done To Mortal Kombat: Legacy?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of February 2013 - 10:21 PM ]
Remember about two years ago when Mortal Kombat: Legacy made a huge splash on the internet? I do as I wrote a small review about each episode that came out. With each review came more and more disappointment as the story and whole concept moved back into video game cannon from the original concept that re-sparked the whole project. If you are not sure what I am talking about still, look to the very bottom to see the original video. Well now that we've taken that walk down memory lane let's move forward. Read More...

Review: Silent Hill: Revelation 3D
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 1st of November 2012 - 06:58 PM ]
It's been six years since we got the damn decent video game movie Silent Hill. Now we fans can rejoice as Silent Hill: Revelation is here. Given the down time we should expect something along the same quality correct? Well I got to check it out, so if you are on the fence about seeing it yourself, let me give you a nudge one way or another. The Story: Years after the events of Silent Hill we follow the tale of Heather and Harry Mason, or as you might remember them Sharon and Christopher Da Silva. They are on the run for reasons to be revealed in the film. Read More...

Review: Wreck-It Ralph
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of October 2012 - 10:41 PM ]
For the last few months we've all been bombarded with ads and trailers for Disney's upcoming Wreck-It Ralph. A film that looks like it will do to video games what Toy Story did to toys. But how well is the question? Well sit back and enjoy our review of Wreck-It Ralph. The Story: 'Wreck-It' Ralph is the villain of a 'retro' game in an arcade who is pretty much crapped on for being the villain. He hates it. Who wouldn't? Read More...

Silent Hill: Revelations Looks Like It Will Further The Franchise Well
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of July 2012 - 09:52 PM ]
It has been a little over six years since the first Silent Hill film hit the screen and a lot of us have been clamoring for a sequel, myself included. It has been one of the best video game franchises to move over into film and at this year's San Diego Comic Con we were given a look at a bit from the sequel, Silent Hill: Revelations. You might have already noticed below that there is a video clip from what we saw, but there is another that is not included. One that is a lot creepier and features the Mannequin from the franchise.
