Hands-On — Marvel’s Avengers Beta
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 11th of August 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Over the weekend, I was able to see Marvel’s Avengers Beta in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Marvel’s Avengers. The first beta wave for Marvel’s Avengers has come and gone and many PS4 gamers out there had a chance to actually lay hands on the current state of the game. It housed a good portion of campaign gameplay and the ability to go through many of the multiplayer modes we can expect when it launches on September 4th. Those who missed out, or plan on playing on the Xbox One or PC will be getting a chance this weekend, we are here to give you a feel for how Marvel’s Avengers all flows. Read More…

Cyberpunk 2077 Is Going To Take Us Down Some Long Life Paths
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of August 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
The next Night City Wire is here for Cyberpunk 2077 that shows off the weapons, music and different starting points we will have in Cyberpunk 2077 Never one to disappoint, we have the next big Cyberpunk 2077 info drop from CD Projekt RED to take in and it is another huge one. There is still a lot of time between now and November 19th and it is still shocking how much we are seeing for the game and how much more will still be hidden. More so when you have a look at how Cyberpunk 2077 will actually be giving us fully filled out life paths to start with that will do more than just define dialog options. In fact, they will give us all a different starting point in the game and challenges to get to where we have seen other parts take place. Read More…

The Ancient Gods Are Coming Soon For DOOM Eternal
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of August 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
The first single-player DLC for DOOM Eternal is coming and we will get to see the DOOM Slayer taking on some new areas in the universe It is no secret that we knew that DOOM Eternal was going to be getting some single-player DLC coming soon for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. We had some screenshots come out before to let us all know and now we are back with a new teaser trailer to see from id Software. It is a weird cycle we are going to be getting here for DOOM Eternal with so many teases that do not feel needed, but it is something new to see and keep us going, I guess. At least this new trailer we have does show we will be going to new areas in the universe and not just some recycled bits from before. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of August 2020 - 11:00 PM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It is time to epically wrap another week of video games and dive into a good chunk of Marvel’s Avengers fun for this weekend. That would be one of the bigger things to look at for the week as well as enjoy if you pre-ordered on the PS4. That is not to say that the excitement for the Suicide Squad game or the new looks at Outriders and Hitman 3 going VR were not cool enough. It is just saying that we have some video games to enjoy in the mix of just the news this week. Read More…

Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time Is Offering Up A Lot More Than We Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of August 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time is here with some new twists and a look back at how it will use past Crash Bandicoot titles too A new and long look at Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time came out of the big State Of Play event yesterday and for those that missed out, we have the slice of it all. It was slipped in as a beefy little thing from Toys For Bob as they dove into all the changes and additions we can all expect to have here in the game. It has been a long time since we had a great Crash Bandicoot title so it would make sense that we would be getting something to showcase the IP and keep us all wanting more after October 2nd. A Suicide Squad Game Is Coming For Us All In The Near Future
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of August 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
A tease for a Suicide Squad video game is here with one of the teams behind Suicide Squad that we have all loved from the universe before It is always nice when rumors get debunked only to prove other ones are real, as now we have a tease that a Suicide Squad game is on the way. On the way and coming from none other than Rocksteady Games. The ones that did Batman so well and were rumored to be working on a Superman title after they concluded that franchise. It looks like that one is the one that is debunked given that this word comes from an official Suicide Squad social account and the main Rocksteady one as well. Read More…

Hitman 3 Is Going To Bring The Whole Thing Into VR
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of August 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Hitman 3 is going into VR with it bring all of the new and old locations from this version of the Hitman franchise into the mix If you were not able to catch the big PlayStation State Of Play event yesterday, then you may have missed out on an interesting announcement for Hitman 3. We did not get much in the way of new locations or changes up for the IP from IO Interactive but the announcement that we will have the option to play it all in PSVR. Yeah, we will be able to pull off all of those over-the-top kills in Hitman 3 from the true perspective of Agent 47 and feel the garroting wire wrapping around our victim's throats. Well, at least as much as we can in VR given the limitations the hardware still faces here. Read More…

Watch Dogs: Legion Takes Us On A Mission To Help A Whistleblower
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of August 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
New footage for Watch Dogs: Legion is out there to help highlight one of the Watch Dogs missions we will get to undertake when playing the game If you want to see a mission from start to end, mostly, in Watch Dogs: Legion then you are in luck as it looks like new footage for the game is out there. It is a rather short mission if it is to be believed but something to show off just how some of these new features Ubisoft is putting in the game will flow. The bigger one being the fact we can recruit anyone and swap between them for any mission as needed. Read More…

Serious Sam 4 Gets A New Release Date For Real This Time
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of August 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
One more delay has hit Serious Sam 4 and we will be getting back into the Serious Sam universe this coming September A new delay has seemed to hit Serious Sam 4 now and we will not be seeing the title in the likes of August here. It is not the biggest surprise given the world we are in, but it is something that cannot be easy for Croteam to make the call on. PC gamers all over have to be sad now that we will not see Serious Sam back in action this month. Thankfully, though, we do have a date in site for when we will be blasting away and defending Earth from everything. Read More…

A release date for Pikmin 3 Deluxe is now set down to bring this Pikmin title over to the Switch in all of its glory The wait for Pikmin 3 to head over to the Switch is almost over, as we now have a release date for the game over there. Nintendo has been toying with us all for a while now and it looks like October is going to be about when we will get to see the game there. That is a little broad there, so let me clarify on when the game will be releasing a bit more. Now that I have built a little tension. Read More…

Review — HELM DB12 AAAMP Cable
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of August 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
We sit down and review the HELM DB12 AAAMP Cable. A new accessory that could kick up the audio options for your mobile pleasure. We have all been there before when our normal headphones for our mobile devices just do not cut it. Maybe they are not truly noise-canceling or just cannot give us the output we normally want with our music and games. This is where the HELM DB12 AAAMP Cable aims to step in and give us all a bit more aid to this. Some of us do want to be able to have some THX quality sound in our ears when listening to music or taking some of our video games on the go. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of August 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
The next developer diary for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest is out there for us to learn why we are getting another Werewolf game There is no doubt that we will have a whole lot of Werewolf: The Apocalypse to enjoy in terms of video games in the coming month just as the ones for the other aspects of the World Of Darkness. The one we are looking at here is going to be the one that Different Tales is working on to give us a different take on the franchise. Not the hacking and slashing one we have seen but Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest where we will play out a motion comic of sorts much as we have for the Vampire one out there. Baldur’s Gate 3 Will Be Releasing A Bit Later Than Expected
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of August 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Baldur’s Gate 3 has been delayed a bit due to various things and we will have a new date for Baldur’s Gate 3 very soon It looks like we should mark Baldur’s Gate 3 off our hopes for releasing in August as it looks like it has been delayed. The specific reasons for this have not been offered up by Larian Studios but it is most likely safe to assume it is all related to COVID-19. This is not the first title have this happen it will not be the last. That just means that we are going to have to wait just a bit longer for the first act of Baldur’s Gate 3 to hit the PC down the road a bit. Read More…
