We Have A Few New Batman: Arkham Knight Screens Flying At You
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of August 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A few new screen shots for Batman: Arkham Knight have been released and show off Batman being Batman… While it may not be more video footage of Batman: Arkham Knight we do have a few new screen shots for the game to tide us over until the next big video of gameplay. Although this looks like it is all about the Batmobile or Batman in full action here in the game. If only there was more to speculate on and think about for Batman: Arkham Knight or the reason it is coming out in February next year instead of October here in short time. But alas, there is nothing more to go with than these images. Read More...

Just about a week now until fans of the franchise can replay both of the amazing titles that have come out in an all new fashion and on the PS4, Xbox One, or their PC again. It Looks Like Assassin's Creed Unity Is Becoming More Thief-like
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A new bit of gameplay for Assassin's Creed Unity has been released from Gamescom and it looks like there is more stealth action included Earlier today we had a look at Assassin's Creed Rouge's naval gameplay now we have a look at Assassin's Creed Unity and its new features to the franchise. In this case it looks like there are more and more features that are turning Assassin's Creed Unity into what looks like a Thief mod for the franchise. At least since there are new stealth modes, the need to pick pockets, and also pick locks. All things that make sense for Assassin's Creed Unity but just feel like more mechanics added just to be added. Read More...

Wait…We Will Get To Play As Boxman With The Evil Within's Season Pass?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Looks like there will be a season pass for The Evil Within giving us a few interesting ways to play the game When it comes to season passes for games The Evil Within doesn't seem like it would be a title that would have a need for one. Granted, that is looking at most season passes as multiplayer add-ons for games or bonus maps for said multiplayer but that isn't the case here. Don't think that some form of multiplayer has been shoe horned in for The Evil Within when it wouldn't be needed nor wanted for the horror experience. It is all story or mission based content planned to roll out after the October launch. Read More...

Have A Look At How Terrifying Alien Isolation Is Trying To Be
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of August 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new CGI trailer for Alien Isolation has been released from Gamescom showing off the terror that Creative Assembly is aiming for There shouldn't be any mistake in knowing that Alien Isolation is being slated more to the horror and suspense side of the franchise than the pure action schlop we've been getting. I've played through a bit of the game at conventions past and while it is now Silent Hills teaser it is a down right suspenseful title. At least that is the case based on the little bit I have played for Alien Isolation but I am sure that SEGA and Creative Assembly want to instill that fear that the franchise had so long ago. So… Rise Of The Tomb Raider May Not Be An Xbox Exclusive Forever
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of August 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
In a recent interview Phil Spencer confirmed that the exclusivity deal for Rise Of The Tomb Raider has a time limit During the recent Microsoft press event at Gamescom it was claimed that Rise Of The Tomb Raider was going to be an exclusive for Xbox next year. This of course upset A LOT of gamers out there, like me, who fell in love with how Crystal Dynamics gave the franchise a re-boot. Tomb Raider Definitive Edition was the first retail game I purchased for my PS4. Well it would seem that during a recent interview from Phil Spencer this exclusivity may not be forever based on the deal Microsoft and Square Enix struck. Read More...

Now, as promised, Ed Boon has full announced Kano will be making a comeback to Mortal Kombat X even though he will be a bit older and relying on his cybernetics to not die right away. A new trailer for Metro Redux from Deep Silver and 4A Games has been released showing off all of the updates and comparisons from the original titles Having had a chance to play both titles included in Metro Redux I can attest that both look and play amazing. But of course these are just words on your screen that you are reading and if I know my audience like I think I do, you want to see the proof as well as read my words on the screen. Four Player Co-Op Revealed For Dying Light In The Latest Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of August 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
The latest trailer for Dying Light from Gamescom has confirmed the four player co-op for the game I'm a bit confused here with the latest from Dying Light as I thought that the co-op was one of the original selling points for the game. Now we have the latest Gamescom trailer for the game that is highlighting all of the accolades Dying Light has received thus far as well as how we will be playing the game in co-op. From the looks of it that will all be in an online form and not split screen with your buddy sitting right next to you. I miss those days sometimes. Read More...

Rob Zombie's French Revolution Is The Best Telling Of Assassin's Creed Unity
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of August 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Here is Rob Zombie's French Revolution based on the upcoming Assassin's Creed Unity from Ubisoft Just before SDCC we caught wind that Rob Zombie was going to do an animated film based on Assassin's Creed Unity and the French Revolution that take place in the game. I was a bit ecstatic but also a bit concerned given the fact that a lot of what I love about Rob Zombie's work in the past is something that I would think Ubisoft would be a bit hesitant to embrace. Especially when he gets teamed up with The Walking Dead's co-creator (Tony Moore) to illustrate what he does best; horrid gore and blood. Sounds like an amazing team up to me but like I said I was worried they would get hamstringed. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 5th of August 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
It has just been announced that we will be getting Resident Evil on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. We're talking the original Resident Evil here Just in case you may have missed out on the original Resident Evil the umpteen times it has been given the HD remastered feel, we are getting a new version of the game for the PS3, PS4, XB1, 360, and PC. Pretty much all of the platforms that were left out when the latest Resident Evil HD remaster came out for the Wii and then some. None the less it looks like Capcom is going to try and get the franchise back up into swing again using the HD ploy for all of us old gamers who wanted the newer version and all of those younger gamers who may have missed out on this PS1 gem.
