by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of September 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A plethora of new 'behind the scenes' videos for Styx: Master Of Shadows have been released as well as the game's Release Date If you've been reading over the last few weeks you will have seen much on Styx: Master Of Shadows from Cyanide and Focus Home Interactive. If you've been reading a lot longer than that then you also know that I am a fan of seeing how our beloved games are actually made. Well it looks like we are all in for a treat here as we have not one, not two, or three, but four new behind the scenes videos for Styx: Master Of Shadows. Yea, there is a whole lot here to see what went into their PS4, Xbox One, and PC title. Read More...

Time To Get To Know Pagan Min Of Far Cry 4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of September 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Far Cry 4 has been released by Ubisoft to show of a bit more of the personality of Pagan Min from the game Villains are always the most interesting characters and Pagan Min of Far Cry 4 is quickly shaping up to be that way. Especially since the recent trailer for the game that highlights a bit more of how the character acts and possible motivations has been released. In the past we've had a bit on the character including all the fun controversy that surrounded the original announcement but I think what we have here could just put a pin in making him one of the most interesting in a while. Just about up there with Negan of The Walking Dead comic books if you ask me. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of September 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been released and it has everything from new story bits to a new 4-player co-op mode for the game Good news for all us out there waiting to hear more on the four-player co-op modes of Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Looks like we have a new mode to list from the latest trailer that has been released from Sledgehammer and Activision. Review: Forza Horizon 2
by Greg Tatterfield [ Thursday, 25th of September 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
We sit down and play Microsoft's newest entry in their long running racing series Forza Horizon 2. Is it worth talking it out for a cruise? Hated Forza Horizon 2 features a huge open world that's larger than the original. The large expansive open world isn't the problem. The problem lies with the fast travel system. Like the first game fast traveling to the festival is free but fast traveling to any of the hubs across the map will cost you over 9,000 precious credits that are used to upgrade and purchase new cars. This means driving everywhere or burn through your credits by fast traveling. Read More...

Welcome To New Hades In Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of September 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new developer look at Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell has been released from Volition and Deep Silver to show off some of the gameplay Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell was announced at PAX last month and with it came a fun new trailer. It explained why we are trying to get Gat out of Hell but it didn't explain how all too well. Outside of just pimp slapping Satan and hopefully walking off into the sunset. A nice idea but I think it is going to take a whole lot more than just that to escape and to make Saints Row: Gat Out Of Hell a game that is worth our time and effort. Read More...

The Live Action Sunset Overdrive Trailer Isn't Upon Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of September 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new 'live action' trailer for Sunset Overdrive has been released for us to see…well…kind of Well it looks like Sunset Overdrive now has a 'live action' trailer for everyone to pine over and lose their shit for. I don't understand the point of live action trailers for video games but I guess if Microsoft and Insomniac want to waste the money you've given them over the years, then I guess we need to let them. You know, to make sure that we all know that Sunset Overdrive is coming to the Xbox One here in a month and we need to shell out more cash for them to have a larger budget for their next IP. So they can make another live action trailer for a virtual world game. Read More...

The Many Faces Of Death In Styx: Master Of Shadows
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of September 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Another new trailer for Styx: Master Of Shadows shows us some of the ways we can die while playing the game Still no official release date for Styx: Master Of Shadows on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC but we do have a nice montage of a few ways that Styx will and can die in the game. Isn't that lovely? Well, at least it is something to show Cyanide an Focus Home haven't forgotten about all of us who are looking forward to Styx: Master Of Shadows. Time is running out though at least if they want mass spread knowledge of the game in the mix of all of the other big names coming out in the next few months. Maybe that is just me… I guess we'll just have to take solace in the fact that we have yet another gameplay trailer to watch for Styx: Master Of Shadows. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of September 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
The release date for all territories has been announced for Blodborne from Sony at the Tokyo Game Show At the beginning of the month we had a nice showing of Blodborne and its slated release date in Japan during Sony's pre-TGS press event. This was nice and all for all of those who lived in Japan but the rest of the world was wondering when Blodborne would be hitting their PS4s and if it would be around the same time. I know I speculated on the same thing at the time of the press event so I know what everyone was talking about. Well it looks like all of the speculation was pretty much correct as we will be seeing Blodborne on February 6th 2015. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of September 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new gameplay video for Far Cry 4 shows us all the fun things we are going to get to do with Elephants during the game I am a huge fan of getting new fun facts every day and it looks like Far Cry 4 is filled with them. At least if you believe everything that is stated in the latest gameplay video for the game that Red Storm and Ubisoft have released into the wild. It is a nice little look at how we will be able to use the elephants in Far Cry 4 as well as some other additional gameplay we can all look forward to come to our PS3, PS4, XB1, XB360, or PCs this coming November. That is going to be a huge month for Ubisoft isn't it? Read More...

Styx: Master Of Shadows & The Attack Of The Clone…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 12th of September 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new gameplay trailer for Styx: Master Of Shadows has been released and focuses on the clone attack that Styx can employ We are coming up on the launch month for Styx: Master Of Shadows so it is time to see a bit more in depth on the special attacks and abilities that we will get to employ when we fire this bad boy up on our PS4, Xbox One, or PC. We've seen how Styx can get all Assassin's Creed-like in the past so it is time that we see how he uses his own personal "co-op" to get around the castles and dungeons. This time we get to see the clone attack/ability for Styx: Master Of Shadows. Read More...

We've Boosted Some New Assassin's Creed Unity Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of September 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Ubisoft has released a new gameplay video for Assassin's Creed Unity showing off the Heist Co-op mode Before when I made comments on Assassin's Creed Unity looking more Thief-like by the day, I was just goofing around. With the latest gameplay video for Assassin's Creed Unity it looks like I am more and more on par; the most recent video of course covering the new Heist Co-op play mode for the game. This makes it so you no longer need to be assassin's but are rewarded on how much better a thief you are than a killer. The bigger difference is that in Assassin's Creed Unity it looks like Ubisoft nailed the gameplay mechanics that were lacking in other's titles… Unlike the game that will no longer be mentioned, Assassin's Creed Unity's heist mode will pit players to traverse areas to attempt to steal some item from said area. Ubisoft has just announced a new collection of titles for the Assassin's Creed franchise titled the Birth Of A New World - The American Saga launch before the newer titles Just in case you didn't think you were going to get enough Assassin's Creed this year with Unity and Rogue launching in November it looks like there is another set of titles coming just weeks before the one-two punch of those titles. All on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC at that. This new addition to the franchise is Assassin's Creed: Birth Of A New World — The American Saga although it really isn't a fully new addition to the universe but a way to get caught up on all the lore and events leading up to Rogue/Unity.
