Styx: Master Of Shadows Will Make You Believe In Goblins…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of July 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Styx: Master Of Shadows has been released to show off the main goblin doing what he does best Last month we were able to re-watch the E3 gameplay for Styx: Master Of Shadows and it looks to be the perfect Thief-like game to me. Now we have a nice little extra look at a bit of gameplay and a bit more on the story that will be taking place during the game. It isn't all that much more but it is something for what I am seeing as a sleeper hit coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this upcoming September. I just kind of wish we had a more direct release date for the game but we have the month at least. Read More...

Finally We Have A Bit To Compare With For The Last Of Us Remastered
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of July 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new TV Spot and screenshots for The Last Of Us Remastered give us a look at the upgrades for the game A little while back we had some "leaked" screenshots for The Last Of Us Remastered to look at and see if the up-scaling for the game made things look any better. Well now we have an official trailer for The Last Of Us Remastered as well as quite a few new screenshots for the game and… I am still torn on if I can see any real improvement over the PS3 version to the PS4 version of the game. It is a bit tough to see anything with just stills and the little bit of in-game footage that we do get in this new TV Spot for The Last Of Us Remastered. Here, look at the video and tell me if you can see a vast improvement in The Last Of Us Remastered. Read More...

Assassin's Creed Unity Brings Us Some Revolutionary Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of July 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new gameplay/accolades trailer for Assassin's Creed Unity has been released and shows off some rather neat stuff Attention all of you assassin's out there. We have a new Assassin's Creed Unity gameplay trailer to look at and pull apart for our amusement. Just like draw and quartering that was all the rage around the times back then. Give or take fifty years or so. Short of the guillotine and Arno's favorite ways though, those are the only forms of execution we get to see in this gameplay. Read More...

Keyword here being immersion and audio has just as much to play into that as visual and great gameplay mechanics. This is why we are bringing you the latest in Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare dev diaries showing off very little of the tech going into doing just that. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of July 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
The opening cinematic for Sunset Overdrive was shown during the RTX convention and we have the video here If you don't want to have any bit of Sunset Overdrive spoiled for you here then I would suggest not going forward. I would also suggest that you stay away from coverage of the RTX convention that happened over the weekend as that was some of the big news and views that came about while most of this country was blowing up part of the land or setting fire to mammal flesh in mass quantities. The Fourth Of July to those who need that spelled out in basic words. Anyways, now that you have been warned, here is the opening scene for Sunset Overdrive. Read More...

Styx: Master Of Shadows Looks To Be The Thief Game We Wanted
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of June 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
With the E3 demo for Styx: Master Of Shadows being released we can see how it can be a better Thief game than Thief turned out to be Here we go with Styx: Master Of Shadows, yet another little gem I missed out on at E3 due to time constraints. Luckily, like many other titles, the demos and gameplay didn't stay at the convention for long and now we get a nice 14 minute look at the gameplay for Styx: Master Of Shadows. This title has only recently made it onto my Gamedar and that makes me a little sad. Just by watching this gameplay demo alone would have been enough before to get my interest going but I am only one being and my attentions are already drawn all over. Read More...
